Chloe Blaque’s Doing London is a bouncy, breezy contemporary erotic romance replete with witty banter, humor, sexual bravado, multi-cultural characters, and just enough elements of BDSM to spice up the mix. The author has created a memorable protagonist with streetwise New Yorker, Joey Vasquez, a stunning beauty blessed with intelligence and bravado.

As one of the hosts of QTV, Britain’s version of The Home Shopping Network, Joey, an intrepid American transplant, makes London her home. With her p

This is not a story I would normally read based on the premise. Ex-porn star trying to make a new life. The sotry is short and easy to read. It even has some moments of comic relief. But I will say that the story line worked. I thought Josie/Joey was a good character. She wanted to move forward and forget her past. She changed her looks and name and moved to London. She meets a high profile footballer. There is instant attraction. Marco wants more from Josie, but she do

Doing London, Chloe Blaque
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance, women’s fiction
I wasn’t really sure about this book, I’d seen some negative reviews and let’s face it – ex porn star v romance doesn’t really seem to inspire. I’m glad I went for it though as I found a story that had real issues, heartbreak and solid romance.
Josie, Joey – she’s tried her best to leave her scary past behind. Its simple to just condemn people, and of course its usually the ladies that get the brunt

****3.5 Stars****

Chloe Blaque is a fairly new author and her multicultural book Doing London makes a big splash. This is my first read by this author and she definitely offers a unique approach to the BDSM genre. This story does use some British vernacular and light BDSM.

Joise Pink “ Josie Vasquez” A.K.A. Joey ( with all these names this girl must have a secret). Joey wanst to shed the image that was created for her namely her porn lifestyle. She wants a normal kind of life whatever that means.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

The Players: Joey Vasquez f/k/a Josie Pink and Marco Verazi

The Story: Joey Vaquez has ditched her former life as a porn star and moved to London to create a new life for herself. Hosting segments on QTV isn't very glamorous but it pays the bills and she enjoys the work. She also makes naughty cupcakes for her friend Ruby's bakery. What she hasn't found is a satisifying love life.

Marco Verazi is a major league soccer player

I'm not going to lie, while I was looking forward to reading this book I was also apprehensive and I found out once I started to book i had absolutely no reason to be. This book drew me in from the first page and it didn't stop until the very end. It was funny and made me laugh but was also very sensual and steamy.

This book has passion and so much heart I really felt for the characters. Joey is very scared of someone finding ou

Joey was one of the host to QTV. She was living in London. Five years ago back in the states she had been a porn star. Joey now lived a life of all work no play. Then she meets Marco and he upsets her carefully laid plans. He is a soccer star and can have anyone he wants but he wants Joey and not for just one night. Marco simply refuses to take no for an answer. Joey had been dating a music star before she had left the states and he is now in jail for attempted murder. So giving into Marco can ca ...more
