This is a pretty good book on mosaic techniques with a decent explanation of materials and methods. There are lots of fun projects that one would actually want to spend one's time on. The range of professional work shown is very inspiring, of course, but I wish there would have been more. Not a lot of historical information, though. There are better books on mosaic out there, and this one is okay.
