This book includes step-by-step instructions for 25 outdoor projects. After you read a few, you know how the rest will go. The author and artist Becky Paton makes most of her stuff from scratch using chicken wire, newspaper and styrofoam. She also uses the indirect method frequently, placing her mosaic pieces in reverse on brown paper, putting them together and then transferring them to a wall or other item. Her adhesive of choice is P.V.A., and she also uses it to seal her projects (1 to 4 ratio). I most appreciated the footstep pattern -- it's just adorable!
