I really liked this short story. It was sweet, and romantic, and just what I was in the mood for. Some angst, but nothing heavy or overdone. Just a nice story.

Dating for Deafies is a nice little story. The MC, Evan, has his hearing stolen by a bout of meningitis as a child. His best friend, Zoey, also deaf, helped get through to him when he became angry and withdrawn.

The friendship between them was really nice. She even taught him how to sign when his doctors said there was no need because his hearing could come back. I really liked the banter between them.

This was cute. I just wish the end was a bit more fleshed out.

This short story has all the potencial to be a full novella. Nikka did a great job on this book. I was left wanting to see so much more of them.... Loved it
Evan York leads a solitary life. After losing his hearing as a child, he often feels cut off from the world. It also doesn't help that most of his dates bolt once they realize he cannot hear. Evan is resigned to his fate until an email from a handsome author, Tristan Gaines, accidentally finds its way into his inbox.

I loved this short story! It's a very quick read, but Nikka Michaels made me really care about Evan and want him to find happiness. He'd been through so much in his life. At one

Evan York is deaf and it’s not doing anything for his love life. In fact, if he wasn’t helping out his best friend by writing posts for her ‘Dating for Deafies’ blog, he would have given up on the concept by now.

Responding to an email that wasn’t meant for him brings Evan in contact with Tristan, a charming and gorgeous man. While they’re communicating through emails both men are equal. When they meet Evan has to decide whether or not he’s brave enough to take a chance that he will be rejected

This is an endearing short love story about a young man, Evan, who is deaf and having trouble dating. The men he's gone out with just don't understand deafness enough to make it worth it. Then he meets Tristan who goes out of his way to learn sign language and understand how Evan's life is. They are very cute together.

How do you expect someone to accept something quickly that took you a long time to adjust to? Why would you? This story first caught my eye when it was available as a stand alone story. I eagerly read and far too quickly finished it. I wish it were longer. The premise of the story was so intriguing...Dating amongst others in the Deaf community and fearfully / bravely venturing out to try to date a Hearing person. The author deals with it in an entertaining & informative manner.
