Desmond Good question. Mr. Kinrade said there would be two more (possibly more). From "Scarlett's POV".

Original Post: House of Ravens (The Nightfall Chronicles 2) at FLYLēF (

I WAS LEFT feeling emotional raw after turning the last page of Karpov Kinrade’s House of Ravens (The Nightfall Chronicles 2). I can’t go into the specifics or I may say too much. But, this I can share: An unspeakable tragedy falls upon one of my favorite characters. I am still saddened and shocked by the turn of events. I wish you would take it back Mr. and Mrs. Karpov Kinrade. I’m upset!

Holy. Mother***!! What was THIS??

Try an intense and amazing whirlwind of a story. It truly hits you right in the feels because dammit, I feel like I just got shoved off a roller coaster of awesome.

So our heroine, Scarlett, has really matured in this book and it is breathtaking. Her ability to love and find love again, but also fight to reconcile her dual identities is just amazing. She made some grave mistakes that had me crying all over my reader but... But it made sense

"House of Ravens" the next intoxicating and gripping chapter in the " Nightfall Chronicles" begins with Scarlett Night struggling to balance her studies as an Initiate at Castle Viannery with rebel assaults in her dual identity as Nightfall. In the struggle to bring equality and justice to both Zeniths and Normals and to destroy the corruption within the Four Order, Scarlett confronts daunting obstacles; a clash of wills with other rebel bands; the hatred of the leader of the Inquisition; and a ...more
Warning: this is an UNFINISHED series (crying like a baby)

House of Ravens is not a prefect book, it's quite average, to be honest, but somehow it is truly captivating. I didn't like the first book, but the idea and the writing were okay and I was interested to see where this would go. And, well, while reading the second book I felt disappointed at times (sometimes even bored a little), I rolled my eyes more than just a couple of times (the book really lacks in common logic), but having finished it, I don't feel that disappointed anymorbaby)

From the moment Scarlett became a Nephilim, she knew her life would never be the same again. Since the change, she's had a lot to contend with, including dealing with her feelings about Jax. Deep inside, she wishes things could have remained the same between them, but she knows that will never be the case.

To make matters worse, she now has a slew of responsibilities on her shoulders. She must become the strong leader of her new cause, as well as balance her life at the academy. As if

***I was given this ARC by the author, Karpov Kinrade, in exchange for an Honest Review***

House of Ravens picks up pretty much where Court of Nightfall ends. Scarlett is starting to come into her own balancing being herself as well as Nightfall. Zorin is still around, and still pushing Scarlett to be the best Nephilim she can be; and the reader is introduced to an array of brand new characters to love, hate, and love to hate.

I will admit, this book is more of an emotional

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

I read the first edition of House of Ravens in March 2015 and second edition in January 2016. I read somewhere that the authors had mentioned that there were only subtle changes nothing drastic. I agree with that to an extent. I thought when reading the second edition that I had seen something or recognized something in the revised book that I did not see in the first edition but after reading my review again I

I read this book because I was looking for an easy read and I was surprised that I did not skim the first book and also this one. I'm having a great time reading it and I like the characters. The heroine is doing good with her situation at her age, unlike other YA novels out there. The plot is simple but the endings always leaves me in awe. I like the simplicity and creative way the plot was done.

However, I would not continue reading this series because of what the authors have done

WOW! What an amazing 2nd book of the series The Court Of Nightfall! House of Ravens is an amazing book!

House of Ravens picks up where Court of Nightfall leaves off. Scarlett Night is beginning her classes at Castle Vianney, making new friends and forging new relationships as she sets out to become a Templar Knight like her parents were. As Nightfall, however, she is looking to build reliable contacts, but falls flat when the rebel groups she once begged to join her become her enemies. What Scarlett never anticipated is that living a double life isn't as easy as she might have thought and that love comes a ...more

House of Ravens by Karpov Kinrade is the second installment in the phenomenal Nightfall Chronicles series. Let me just say, when this dynamic author duo puts out a book, I stop the moment I can get my hands on it. I know before I start reading that I am likely going to be blown away and feel all the feels. House of Ravens is no exception. I felt like I was on a roller coaster for the entire book.

Book 2 of the Nightfall Chronicles starts off roughly where the first ended. School is about to start for Scarlett and almost immediately she has trouble between her two identities. Her new roommate, Corinne, is so nice but her father, the King, is out for Nightfall's head. Literally, her head! And he's not just a dumb politician. He is conniving and probably not above using his children to get to her. He ends up teaching at the school too, so she is constantly trying to balance learning from hi ...more

Wow! This sequel in the nightfall chronicles exceeded my expectations. It is well written with great story as well as character development.
The heroine goes through many trials in this book but stays strong to her cause. The Ending in this book reveals many devastating secrets but will definitely make the next book more explosive.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed this booK. Better than the first one.

An interesting read. I'd love for some things, e.g. mythology, to have a better foundation and a more detailed explanation, but, what can you do. Mainly, I like that their books don't lack action and have interesting twists, although there are a couple of things I would like to see a bit more perfected.

Picking up where the Court Of Nightfall left off House of Ravens begin with some changes to Scarlett's routine! Early morning training sessions,a new rather mysterious roommate and some rather intense classes sure do put a crimp in her superhero game! But in typical Scarlett fashion she is just rolling with it and trying to keep ahead of injustice and the authorities who would love to put her down for her nightly activities and rebellious nature.

The stakes get even higher when we learn who exac

The Nightfall Chronicles keeps on getting better and better. House of Ravens is an amazing book that dives deeper into the story, outer/inner conflicts, and character development. I already liked Scarlett in Court of Nightfall but her evolution in HOR made me somehow like her even more. So I read House of Ravens, the second book in the Nightfall Chronicles. I enjoyed it very much. I would even say I loved it. Several new characters were introduced, both good guys and bad guys (as well as another love interest). It was nice to see that Scarlett actually developed some friends outside of her Nightfall persona. She really needed some. Unfortunately, she has to keep her other life a secret - to most of them. Scarlett also begins classes and Initiate training. This stretches her sch ...more

House of Ravens, second book in The Nightfall Chronicles, is as good if not even better than the first book.

Scarlett keeps learning, as any young trying her best is not enough to obsconce error and sadly, errors are costly, the high price being the person who understands her completely and loves her deeply, sincerely and unconditionnally.

The book is a fantasy, but if one looks under the marvelous and unique abilities superheroes or "zenith" have, they have the same great

WOW Jax and Scarlett kiss, Scarlett realizes she may be in love. Kai and she are friends and become somewhat more. Zorin! Well if we believe what we are being presented with , he has fallen or is in the process of falling for Scarlet/Nightfall.
