Beyond Reach is what you really want to read in a sequel. All my expectations were met.It is captivating, full of action, emotions and intense feelings and a really great story.

I must say,I like "True Calling"'s cover more. But this one's not bad either.

What I really enjoyed were the different point of views. At the beginning Ariana was a little annoying to be honest, she was like a winy little girl who got invited to prom by 2 popular dudes and she is torn in feelings and wants to exp

You know those little party favors that, when opened, a huge blast of confetti and streamers come bursting out and you wonder how all of that could fit in that little container? That’s how I felt after I read Siobhan Davis’ latest, Beyond Reach. Page one and the action, characters, twists and tension just kept bursting out, going on and on without taking a break!

I hate love triangles with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. However, my friend Brandy adores them--the more messed up, the better. But even she had a problem with one of the triangle members in this book. Her exact words were, "Maybe I'm just biased when it comes to men, but I wanted Zane to grow a pair. Being in his head was depressing. And if I'd had a gun, I would have blown my head off." So when she wanted to do a buddy read, I was naturally hesitant.

If you read my review for True Calling, you know I had some reservations about Cal. It seems that I had good reasons but not for the reasons I had thought. Yep, answers that lead to more questions. That's the great thing about a series, you never really know everything until the series has come to an end.

For the first book, I had issues with Zane's POV. This time around, I really enjoyed it. The whole book showed a change in the authors writing. She was now comfortable with her characters, the
Trying to think of words to describe this book. Wow, epic, brilliant, OMG, just don't cover it.

Great improvement on the last book, the story never let up or got boring, it was full of action, totally unpredictable and another cliff hanger ending.

I did connect with the characters in this book, the chemistry was there, the intrigue and intensity were there.I didn't put the book down once, it's a real page turner.

If you liked book 1 this book will blow you away.

Siobhan Davis is one of those authors who, after just one book, I knew I needed to devour all their work. My introduction came through the Saven series, and since then I have been happy to devour all the books she releases. Throughout it all, the True Calling series has been sitting on my Kindle waiting to be read. It wasn’t that I had no wish to read the series, as I did, I simply found myself reading other things instead. Finally, I’ve reached the point where I’m amending my error and going ba ...more
I received this book for free from Siobhan Davis in exchange for an honest review. This does, as always, not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I had my mind set on what I wanted to gain from reading Beyond Reach, and let's be real here, I wanted answers. Thinking back on how many books I've read in my life, it's not often that the second book in a series garners so much attention from me — possibly even more than the first.

So much happens in this book that I really don't know how to feel right now!

Ari is back on Earth with Zane and the rebel organization Clementia. But her family and fiance, Cal, are currently back on Nova and being held hostage. After seeing a video of Cal with the President, Ari is questioning if he has betrayed her, but she can't help but still love him. Then there's Zane, her ex-boyfriend from before her memory was erased.

This book had a lot of action which I loved. It was a roller coaster ride. Author Siobhan has a great descriptive writing style that is easy to follow and flows really well. She has the right balance between showing verses telling. This review contains spoilers.

One thing I liked throughout this series, is how Ari stays true to her character. She has a strong will and I love that she knows what she wants and sticks to it.

“It was so hard to switch off knowing Cal is so close yet still beyond reach.”

If you want to read a book that will surely amaze and wreck your heart and mind at the same time, then Beyond Reach is the key. It is the second installment to the True Calling Trilogy, a dystopian, science fiction by Siobhan Davis.

In the first chapter, it totally floored me because action already started, without any pause or segue. YES! Actions a

I was thrilled to be asked by the author to read and review, if anyone who reads this follows my blog actively, knows that I am a HUGE fan of The Calling (book 1).

This book picks up where book 1 left off. Ariana is on Earth, without Cal and her family. She's involved with a rebel group called Clementia, which to me seemed just as bad as being on Nova, she traded on

Beyond Reach is the second book to True Calling. I really have no words to describe this book. It was just as good as the first one. It had just enough romance, it was action packed, and it kept you on the edge of your seat at times. I loved that it still had the different point of views from Ariana and Zane. If you read my review of True Calling then you know I'm rooting for Zane no matter what happens. My love for him has grown while reading the second book. With any book that's a sequel or a ...more

OMG. What a book. That ending though... Mindblowing. I can't stress how much I love this series. I know lots of readers wouldn't read True Calling because it's Indie, but it's a great book, and it's certainly worth reading. No hesitation is needed. Siobhan Davis really develops the characters from True Calling in Beyond Reach. Every piece of Beyond Reach has something special to it. When I first loo

What another heart pounding and gut wrenching installment!

This book has it all swoon worthy romance, gut wrenching scenes, and some of the most evil people on earth.

I love Arianna in this book. Arianna has been through so much and she has been separated from Cal. I can only imagine how much she has to go through. However, she remains incredibly strong throughout the book. She is still her sassy self and is incredibly selfless. Her actions are reckle

The first book in the series, 'True Calling' (reviewed on my blog on 15th April) really had me hooked and I was keen to find out what happened to Ari and who out of her two possible suitors she would end up with.

'True Calling' ended on a cliff hanger, and as 'Beyond Reach' opens, Arianna is apparently safe, back on earth with the rebel organizaition, Clementia. However her sister, fiance and mother are still on Novo and she is faced with bargaining for their lives, as
“Everything changed the moment I found you. I changed.”

It’s been so long since I’ve been this emotionally invested in a book/series. I cannot wait for the next book especially because that ending…cliff hanger!

I had thought the first book True Calling was pretty great, Beyond Reach was even more amazing. I would first like to thank NetGalley for approving me to receive this ebook ahead of its release, and would also like to thank the author Siobhan Davis herself for being in contact with me.

Beyond Reach is the sequel to True Calling, and we continue to follow Ari soon after the ending of Book 1. As I like to keep all of my ‘sequel reviews’ spoiler-free, I won’t dive into too much detail on what exactly takes place in this book.

At first, I found the story to be pretty steady/slow. Not too much was going on, so I wasn’t feeling as hyped up as I did during the first book. It wasn’t until the middle and end that the action and suspense really rose to the top. There were ALOT more tragi

First I would like to thank Siobhan Davis and NetGalley for giving me an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I have to say to you… I liked True Calling but this one was even better. This book starts where True Calling finished and with Ariana back to earth without her family and without Cal. Throughout the book you can see her development as a character and her struggle about who she should trust and how she feels about Cal and Zane. So yeah, it was great to see her growth in this book. True Calling book one was my first experience of this genre and I adored it, the characters, the setting, the excitement and the pacing. Here, back on earth, the pacing was as good, with the shocks coming fast and hard. From the start I was trying to figure out who Ariana could trust, and where the traps were going to appear and I was surprised most times. The chases were epic, and I beyond enjoyed the fighting scenes as well as the technology. I found I missed Novo a little, whether it was the ...more

I read this as part of a Net Galley ARC.I loved True Calling and was really looking forward to reading this second novel!

After reading a few pages into this novel, I realized I had forgotten so many crucial things about the first novel. So, I quickly re-read True Calling and then started back up the second installment in the series. I was happily surprised with the progression of the book. It was fast-paced, action packed and heart wrenching! There really were so many twists and turns and highs

A great second installment to the True Calling series.

This story picks up on Earth with Ariana. She's now faced with evidence that Cal may have betrayed her as well as an ever attentive ex-boyfriend who's determined to win her back. Add to that a good dose of political intrigue, and she (and the reader) are left wondering who they can trust. It makes for a gripping read.

I must admit I love this story. It's well-told with just enough info leaking out at just the right time to keep you turning pag

I received a copy of this book as a read to review from Netgalley.

Brilliant and amazing just do not do the book justice at all. This book is just wow. Zayn's patience and loving nature just proves the bond between him and Ari. Ari gains her memories back by the end and realises everything. She remembers everything and she tells Zane she needs him. However the book ends there. We do not hear him reply. We don't know if he's even still alive. We don't get to find out any of the new memories brough

I would have given this a 5 but I think some parts were too rushed. Some scenes defiantly should have been dragged out more.

There were some emotional moments in this book that didn't really hit me because I think it went by too fast. (view spoiler) this book wasn't long so I feel it could have totally been dragged out a bit.

Other than that I really loved this book

Davis added more action and intrigue and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The first book spent a lot of time developing the world that Arianna lived in, but this book offered insight into why, how, and who established it.

Whew. I am still trying to wrap my head around everything that happened in this book. I mean, it was nonstop shit going down and life-changing revelations. I definitely feel for Zane after reading this, but Cal has my heart. I'm glad Ari finally figured out what was wrong with her, but there are still questions to be answered. And the potential ick/creep factor is massive. Some characters returned, but others were lost along the way. People who couldn't be trusted before were suddenly allies... ...more

Gripping, Exciting and Intense

Beyond Reach is the sequel of the True Calling and it picks up right from where the first book has eneded. The book is packed with a lot of action, new secrets are being revealed, a lot of twists and turns and the pages are filled with pure excitement. The writing style makes it even easier to get lost in the book and live alongside the

OMG. That is pretty much all I can say to properly express this book. I loved the first book very much, but this.....*input words when thought of*

The author does such a good job of tying the books together. There were small hints here or there in the first book that pop up in this book. I wanted to jump up and scream "I KNEW IT!!" but I refrained so I didn't scare my dog to the point of heart failure. She does such a good job of giving you little tidbits of information but not revealing it until
