You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.

And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...

Anyone who knows me knows that this is not the type of book I normally read. How, then, do I come to be reviewing it? Well, therein lays a tale…

It all started innocently enough one night as I flipped idly through a dog-eared copy of The Collected Poems of John Keats, my eyes full of starry daydreams (even though it was nighttime). I heard a strange sound, felt my limbs grow heavy, my eyelids droop, and…

The next thing I remember is groggily waking up to the sensation of something not-so-ge

10/10 would bang a blue alien.

And don't deny it!
As part of my 2016 reading challenge with the MacHalo group, I needed to read a book out of my comfort zone. Alien smut, which seems to be popular alongside monster porn for some reason, is definitely out of my comfort zone. I was hoping that at least it would deliver in the humor department, and it really did.

We begin our story on an alien spaceship where our hero, Georgie (a girl), is being held in a cell with a bunch of other kidnapped women, waiting to be taken to another planet for sale...

i don't rate smut and i definitely don't review it but i thought this book kind of deserved a review

despite the weird ass premise (aka boning blue dudes) this was a solid read. it's pretty well written, i liked the detail that the author put into the world building, and even though this was short i was actually invested in the character relationships. also there was a plot? definitely a stand out in the smutty genre even if it's not my preference (i.e. boning blue dudes)

I loved Vektal, a barbaric hero and leader of the tribe. He's drop-dead gorgeous when he goes crazy about his mate, even though I was annoyed when they can't communicate and I had to translate what the heroine says all the time, and it was so hard to do so. I liked the setting nevertheless, it's full of toe-curling scenes when I read in public and covered my face with my kindle, pretending to concentrate on the content.

Georgie wakes up to find herself on an alien spaceship with a bunch of fellow captives who soon realize they need to do whatever it takes in order to escape some seriously rapey guards who look a lil’ something like this . . . .

Lucky for them some turbulence helps their cause and they crash land here . . .

Sorta. Turns out the number of moons doesn’t match up, but winter is coming has come (or is permanent) and it’s cold as shit so they dub the land "Not Hoth." Since Georgie kicked so much of the basketballhead ass she gets nominated to go find help or food or whatever. And what does she find? Well, she finds she kind of sucks at being a hero and promptly gets captured – only to be awakened by a giant blue alien named Vektal who likes to make with the . . . .

That was fun!

I absolutely love the theme “Alien Males fall in love and mate Earth Brides”. Thus, I really do not understand why it took me so long to start the Ice Planet Barbarians series and join this space party. No excuse besides the fact that time flies and I have a “To Be Read” book list with the height of Kilimanjaro.

In the first book, Georgie has been abducted from her warm bed while she was sleeping and she wakes up at a cargo ships full of disgusting aliens merchants/ traffickers

A sort of buddy read with the MacHalo Ladies.

This made me laugh and it was practically Tolstoy in quality after reading Mounted by a Monster: Werepuffer (it was a horrible book). The freakiest part - there was an actual plot and story. A Tingler story is 25 pages or less, while this was 152 pages of freaky aliens. In case you were wondering about the aliens in this book, there are three types. A) short, little green men with giant pupil-less eyes; very smart, little brawn. B) NBA players tall (7ft+) and aptly with b

I love my romance reading friends, but sometimes they lead me astray. Take my first foray into the Alexa Riley novels, which read like the manuscripts of a bad porno featuring a hero who wouldn't be out of place in an episode of Criminal Minds in which the cops discover a human breeding farm in his basement. Or, take the (thankfully) short-lived monsterotica trend, i

When I picked up this book, my only thought was that I wanted to try something a bit different from what I normally read. I've heard good things about this Alien-Human romance book from my GR friends and it sounded intriguing, but to be honest, I didn't know what to expect from it. Turned out, it was so cute and funny as hell! It's been awhile since I read anything that made me laugh so hard tears run down my face! I was completely hooked from the moment I started reading the first page. As I re ...more

A buddy read with Marie.

Georgie's Tuesday was proceeding as usual except it ended with her being abducted by aliens.
She and five other women were transported to presumably intergalactic auction to be sold. Luckily for them the alien ship crash landed on a planet which could sustain life and they managed to overcome the only surviving jailer. This is where the luck ended.

The only season on the planet was winter and the temperature could only be described as "freaking cold".
The six survivors "volunteered" Georgie to do

I’ve read some pretty out there books, but this one… I don’t even have words.

If you are curious like I was, just try it. I don’t even know why I picked this one up. Oh, I remember I was in an Author’s group and she read the whole series and I was thinking to myself, seriously?! But it was on Kindle Unlimited so WHY NOT?

Look past the cheesy cover and the title, I promise you, it’s a good read.

This is a sci-fi, smut fantasy read/>

So here I go, jumping into this book like I don't have three already on my "Currently-Reading" list.

She babbles something in her weird language. “Hly sht thse thngs r hugednt leev me!”

I love a bit of alien smut!

And this was everything I wanted and more.

The start of the story is a little stagnant, but once Vektal meets Georgie and they become, how shall we say it, acquainted, things really pick up steam and the story shoots its wad into orbit.

"I've found an alien that likes to eat pussy as a greeting."

Vektal was awesome. He is basically an alien cave man. I really enjoyed his sides of the story, he may be seven feet tall with a giant ridged penis, but he has a heart of gold.

Do you ever see all your friends reading something and you're like, okay I want to be a cool kid and read it too since they all love it? But then you look closer and it's a human alien romance? With a super cheesy cover featuring a blue dude? And it's also a human alien romance? Called Ice Planet Barbarians?

Well, well, well. Here is a series I've seen a lot around GR. Every once in a while a blue man barbarian appears on my home feed. After the Forced Submission series, I was a bit reluctant to read erotica again, but Ruby Dixon has just the right amount of smuttiness and romance. And she has a story that definitely got my attention.

Georgie and a few other young women are abducted by aliens, to be sold into prostitution or something of the sort (it is not clearly specified... they might be sold as food, too). During th

Now I get what the fuss is all about! If you'd told me I'd enjoy reading a book about a bunch of females being abducted by aliens, then being abandoned on an ice planet I'd have told you you were kidding yourself. This is exactly why it's good to try new things once in awhile.

I was immediately pulled into the story and then we meet the big blue aliens with their h

Excellent alien smut, brain candy. Looking for great world building and character development? Don't look here. Hilarious, light, fun. Pure escapist loveliness! This was very readable. I usually have a limited tolerance for PNR or whatever genre you want to call this-I really liked the way the narrative was not only female, being split between the two main characters. This is one series I plan to continue.

I'm simply blown away at how much I loved this sexy and sweet Sci fi read. I haven't loved a couple getting to know each other this much since Ehd and Beth in Transcendence. I loved the language barrier because I laughed out loud every time they tried to talk.. They made it work. And oh man Vektal he's absolutely the most perfect type of hero. Its almost unheard of to find guys in books anymore that are 100% all about providing and pleasing and protecting their woman. He just had me swooning and ...more

I have no idea why I even liked this book, but I did and I think it's a sickness

I guess some might call this raunchy. Some might find it oversexed. Some might find the story line lacking, but I was kinda interested in the whole premise and was wondering how exactly this is going to play out. I liked it. A lot. It's a distraction. It's almost a feel good moment. It's something.

And while I know Vonnegut would roll over in his grave to hear this (actually I think he'd totally laugh his ass off),
