Okay, Stormy Glenn and Olivia Black ended this series with a bang! King Criostior appeared to be all knowing as he paired dragons and humans throughout the borders of his empire. But with Mate Challenge, the final installment in King’s Command by Ms. Glenn and Ms. Black we learn that he is just a man, a man in love with the dragon he can’t have or can he? I adored meeting Ciran. He wanted to be loved for more than his title and if he must be mated it would be on his terms. And if his counsel must see him mated, he would have a few last moments with the dragon of his heart. And what a dragon he loved. Kurgan has always done what is expected of him. And even though his heart belongs to someone else he will be a part of the challenges to be the consort of the King. But in doing his duty, he finds himself bunking with the human that holds his heart, Ciran. So when he learns that the man he loves is more than he knows, can he find forgiveness in his heart? Kurgan values honesty above all else and when he learns that Ciran has been less than truthful, he struggles to forgive. In spite of his concerns, Kurgan does whatever is necessary to protect the kingdom he serves and the man who holds his heart. I loved that Kurgan is the only one who sees Ciran as more than his title. He is determined to fight for the man despite his title not because of it. Ms. Glenn and Ms. Black told a wonderful tale of love and forgiveness which was action packed. It was a wonderful climax to this series and I look forward to more collaborations in the future.

I just loved this book. I liked how the King and his lover ended up together in the end. They stopped the plotting of the council and arrested them and assigned new members that will help take care of the people and Dragons. Erin
