~ Lily ~

Lily has been born into wealth, and with that comes a certain responsibility. She has been promised to Hail, who has just taken over Royal Industries along with his brothers and cousins. The Royal family screams power and money and they’ll destroy anyone who stands in their way of acquiring more.

Hail is more forceful and unyielding than the preppy son of a greedy bastard Lily took him for. Everything about him is dominant. When his eyes lock with hers sparks fly instantly. Lily belongs to Hail and there’s nothing she can do but honor her grandfather’s promise.

Just one look at Lily and Hail is determined to own her in every way. He doesn’t want her obedience just because she’s honoring a promise. He wants her obedience because she craves to please him.

The force of nature might just be too much for the delicate Lily.

*** Warning ***
This is an over the top, insta-love, hot as hell fairytale with a twist of kinkiness.

Each book in The Force of Nature series is standalone & about a different couple.

It's LIVE! http://bit.ly/2pQdOy9

My word is bond I swear that this story read like it was 10 pages long. I couldn't put it down and I read it so quickly. This is the second installment of MA Horst's A Force Of Nature Fairytale series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Hail falls in love with Lily from her photograph and chooses her for his bride. They've never officially met so Lily is a bit reluctant. However, when her mother presents her with another suitor, a man she'd like to do business with, Lily holds out hope that Hail will be the knight in shining armor she's always dreamed of. With oodles of insta-love and some slurp-tastic times, this story is sure to hit you in the right smut spot.

description Basically, my same comments apply from the first book. This cover is super pretty. I love the colors used. I love the typography and graphics used. My issue is that the composition is slightly off. The title, the byline, and the author's name are all a tad too far to the right. It's driving the OCD graphics designer in me nuts! *lol*description

description

descriptionI didn't like this one quite as much as book one. It was less kinky in my opinion and had a little less angst and drama. Again we have extreme insta-everything.Not a lot of plot or character development (as you would expect) but It was still well written and nicely paced. It was also super short and super sweet. Both main characters were likable and it all gets wrapped up in a nice epilogue. Two books in and I am really enjoying this series.description

I'm loving this series....

What's not to love about a story that has a sexy alpha male(who isn't a manwhore), a sweet unassuming virgin heroine and a instalove storyline? This hit the spot and in chomping at the bit for the next book!

**I was disappointed in the epilogue!

Read on behalf of Two Darlin Dolls and a Book Review.

Lily Flower has been promised to Hail Royal.
This is a deliciously sexy little read.
Lily is strong and protective of her younger sister Rose. All she has ever wanted was to be loved. You can't help but automatically fall in love with her.
Hail is a hot alpha that takes what is his but also sweet and caring at the same time. He will do anything to protect Lily. Their connection is immediate, hot and intense.

“I want to own you, sweet Lily. I want you to obey me because it turns you on.
I want you to obey me because it makes me hard. Obey me, and I’ll make you feel things that will surpass your wildest wet dreams.”

This was a great short read. There is fear, dominance, loyalty and love in it which I enjoyed.
The only issue I had was I wish that it was longer. I would love to read more about Hail and Lily.
I can't wait to read Rose and Lake's story.
I definitely recommend this novella especially if you are into insta-love.

Title: Lily
Author: Michelle Horst

3 adorable stars

I really wish i could have loved this story. I know Michelle Horst has the ability to write amazing stories. Heck, i love more than a few of them and can't get enough of them either. But for some reason, there's just something about The Force of Nature Fairytales that i just can't get into it. Maybe because i'm thinking it's a new rendition of what fairytales are about? Or the fact that by the names, i'm still, in my mind, picturing those disney princesses when in truth, there's not really any link whatsoever to them. Now, what i do have to say is that Lily had more drama to it - centering less on the sexual relationship and more on who are The Flower girls' parents and why they would chose to let their children marry the Royal children. Of course, some of the twists were unexpected and that kept my attention, but sadly, the insta-love, after all the fuss that Lily made about it and how Hail knew he was in lust with the girl, was too quick for me.
Will i be reading more of this series? Probably, seeing as how i'm curious to find out what's to happen to the rest of the clans and know if their story will change as things progress.
Just because i didn't enjoy it as much as i would have liked doesn't mean that someone else won't.

LILLY is Book 2 in A FORCE OF NATURE FAIRYTALE SERIES. There are to be 7 standalone Novellas in this series with each featuring a different couple. Since there is a family connection in each of these stories, it would be beneficial to the reader to read in order. The grandfather had promised the Flower girl offspring in marriage to the Royal family offspring. An arranged marriage to repay a debt.

Lily Flower had been born into wealth. She had all money could buy, except for feeling loved. To her parents Lily was an asset. She had been promised to Hail Royal, who had just taken over Royal Industries along with his brothers and cousins. Lily belongs to Hail and there's nothing she can do but honor her grandfather's promise. In light of what her greedy mother had planned, one look at Hail and it in instant love, and he becomes her white knight in shining armor.

This is a fairytale and must have a magic spell cast on Lilly and Hail, because the innocent Lilly turns naughty and the handsome Royal turns beastly. Lilly's only request is that her younger sister Rose be allowed to leave with her, and Hail's brother Lake is only too happy to claim her. Their story is next up.

I think this was even more sweeter, then Poppy's story. Well, at least the h was if that possible. It's for sure your alley if you are up to sweet, crazily instalove and a hero who is dominant but can drop to his knees for his flower.

Lily made me to feel irritation though. One little run away act because of misunderstanding, which could have had huge consequences, made sure of that. The only thing who saved that moment was, that Lily wasn't frozen idiot and took some actions. Well, you will have to find out about it all for yourself and decide how you feel.

And now I'm looking forward for Rose book. That little act of tease about Rose and Lake wasn't fair. Lol

Lily is the second book in the a force of nature fairytale series from Horst. Immediately after I posted my review for the first book, I knew I need to read the second asap. As I enjoy these quick and dirty novellas and I was read for more insta love from Horst.

Lily’s is a cousin to Poppy and her parents are determined to marry her off but each has different ideas about the whole thing . Her father being a Flower expects his daughter to marry the Royal who chooses her as his payment due to their agreement. Whilst her mother wants her to married someone believing that the Royals won’t care and they got her cousin. As Lily didn’t get the catch in the Royal family, Gage and her saved her family from being poor. So poor Lily is caught in the middle between her parents and wanting to do the right thing

She isn’t the most out going of the girls I have met so far and the story reflects it. She totally a shy beauty so to speak. She doesn’t want to be part of things but she willing to obey. Hail was perfect. He saw beyond the image she created. He was a gentleman and whilst the instalove feel again with this story . it was an enjoyable story and I can’t wait for more. An ARC of Lily by M. A. Horst was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Lily Flower is aware of the fate that awaits all the Flower women. All the Flower women are expected to marry Royal men. Her arrangement to Hail Royal is no different. It's expected of her. Her parents are adamant about upholding the contract of marriage, leaving the choice out of her hands. Lily feels as though she doesn't matter to her parents, like she doesn't count as try to improve their financial standing in terms of marrying their daughter off to the highest bidder.

Lily is no fan of the Royal men, but she chooses to honor her marriage to Hail Royal. She wants to be strong and brave for her younger sister, Rose who is next in line to marry a Royal man. Lily isn't expecting her marriage to be a match made in heaven. She isn't expecting Hail Royal to be her knight in shining armor or their marriage to be a fairytale filled with love.

However, what Lily doesn't contemplate is her attraction to Hail Royal. Lily sees Hail as the most beautiful man that she's ever seen. She's drawn to his manliness, his strength, and his protectiveness. Falling for Hail is simple and instinctive. She's forced to make a choice that would decide her future and she makes it without second guessing her decision.

Hail Royal is deeply affected by Lily Flower. He's mesmerized by her beauty. What he feels for Lily is primitive and he lacks control where she is concerned. What he feels for her is enough to bring him to his knees. She's his choice of all the Flower women and he aims to make his dream of possessing her a reality.

Hail is consumed with desire for Lily. He wants her. He wants her as his bride, his wife. She heats his blood, command all his thoughts. But of all, he wants to explore those hidden promises that he witnessed in her seductive eyes. He vows to make Lily his. He wants Lily to choose him like he chose her.

Lily by M. A. Horst is getting a five star rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Hail was incredibly hot and intense. I loved his character, particularly how he could be dangerously hot one minute and then be gentle as a giant. I enjoyed the way that he looked out for Lily and took care of her. Hail gave Lily something that she'd never had before, love and security. The passion between Hail and Lily was raw and explosive.

I just loved this book. I loved reading the sibling dynamics between Lily and Rose and Hail and Lake. These four are definitely my favorite out the Flower and Royal clan so far even though I haven't read Rose and Lake's story. Those two just piqued my interest and Rose reminds me of myself. I can't wait for their book.

Lily is the second in the Force of Nature novellas by M. Horst and I will say this one was even more enjoyable than the first. It is one of those insta-love books, but seeing as how it’s short, and it is a fairy tale of sorts, it’s actually pretty appropriate for this series. And I’ll admit, once in awhile, a bit of love and sweetness just feels good with all of the other things going on nowadays.

Lily is supposed to marry Hail Royal because of a business deal her grandfather made. Not only is Hail Royal due a Flower female to wed and create his heirs, but Lily’s father is also happy about the monetary donation Royal will be making to his company. Of course, Lily is not thrilled, but even worse, her mother has her own company and has made a side deal to an arrogant, misogynistic, old, fat, pig of a man, Jasper Kingsley.a deal for her hand as well. Both men are invited to dinner.

Hail brings his brother Lake to the dinner because he’s interested in Lily’s sister, Rose, but before he can be properly introduced to Lily, Jasper muscles his way and gropes Lily, telling her that he can’t wait to own her and she’ll be on her knees and naked. Hail decides enough is enough when Jasper is groping her before the dinner rolls are even passed around, so they leave. The fireworks commence as they do, and then...Lily gets upset and the drama commences. Will Hail be able to rescue fair maiden from the evil clutches of the King(sley)? Will true love prevail? YOU will just have to get yourself a copy and find out!!!

Seriously, this was a fun read, and I really liked both Hail and Lily’s characters a lot. I’m positively chomping at the bit, (no, I’m not into pony play *snicker*) for Rose’s book. So far, I’m loving this series!

I received this book complimentary. I have voluntarily chosen to review the book.
Overall Rating: 3 (sXe)

Quick & Dirty summary: Lily, as the daughter of a rich and well-known couple, has always known that she must marry a Royal. But when her mother throws a wrench in her plans, Lily will do anything to stay in Hail Royal’s arms. Hail knew as soon as he saw Lily’s picture that she was the one for him. But when Hail finally meets Lily, he knows that there is more to Lily than meets the eye.

This is a very short, insta-love romance based loosely on fairytales. This storyline is a little darker than the first novel. They are standalones, so you do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one. The sex in this one gets a little more intense as does the drama.

I like this book much more than I did the first book. I thought the dialogue between the characters was a bit more natural. I also liked the backstory with Lily. It gave her character more depth, which I enjoyed.

I am even more eager to read the rest of the books in this series after reading this one. The third book is related to this one, and it definitely left me hungry for more!

Is it worth buying? (Kindle $0.99)
If you’re looking for a quick, sweet book, then this is a pretty good one for a dollar. I’d recommend it even more if you have Kindle Unlimited.

I have to say, after reading Poppy I was really curious, how the author would pull all the novellas off when the topic was the same for each and every one: A member of the Flower Family has to marry a member of the Royal Family, because of an old contract.
Poppy was good. Lily is better. I was really astonished to see how the author managed to pack the different characters in only a few lines. On a few short pages there is character development, fear, angst and love. It’s insta-love, so if you don’t like that sort of thing these novellas are NOT for you. I liked it, because it made an entertaining fast read that still holds some meaning.
I loved how Lily showed a backbone. In the beginning she was this timid girl, eager to please her parents to spare her sister from the same fate, but the insta-love changed all that and it was awesome!
The writing style was easy to read and supported the story. It was easy to tell the main characters apart, because their voices were different from each other. There were no plotholes or inconsistencies that would have lessened my reading fun.
I can’t wait for Rose’s book and will wait impatiently for the next one, hoping the author can keep up the quality

After reading Poppy, I could not wait to get my hands on Lily. I was definitely excited because this series is short but it packs a lot of punch in terms of story line, the level of hotness and uber sexy characters. I am definitely loving this Forces of Nature series. It is different and keeps you on your toes and wanting for more.

Lily was actually my favourite. Poppy was really good but Lily was better. It had more plot even though it had the same concept of insta love and insta lust. I loved that. Lily gave me smoking hot suspense with a side of kinky goodness that seeped from the pages. It was sexy. It was sinful. It was one action packed guilty pleasure that I wanted to sink myself in. It definitely aroused all kinds of awesome feels in me. Definitely a hot novella that will keep up all night. Never read this in public lol.

Lily and Hail were an awesome couple. Although there was some insta lust chemistry going on they were stronger than Poppy and Storm. Lily was young and innocent whereas Hail was dominant and protective. They were the perfect contrast to each other. Fyi, I want my own Royal.

This series is getting hotter and hotter. Cant wait to read Rose.

This is the second book in The Force of Nature series and it's Lily's story. If you are looking for a fast paced hot read then I do believe these short stories are for you.

Like in book one, (Poppy's story) Lily is destined to marry one of the Royal's. Hail Royal to be precise. Lily is Poppy's cousin so of course belongs to the 'Flower' family. Hail is hot and I'm fully expecting all the Royal men to be just the same or maybe just a tad hotter!

After overhearing a conversation between her parents she is in shock at what her mother says. As the Flower business isn't doing well financially her mother seems to think that she can get rid of Lily to the highest bidder even if the doesn't have the sir name Royal!
As these are short stories everything happens rather quickly. It really is an over the top read, just like it says in the warning, you also have to remember that these are fairy tales, but they are a little hotter than your average fairy tale that's for sure! I did enjoy this, it was very easy to read and I am looking forward to Rose's story which is next. Rose is Lily's sister and one of the Royal's has already made his decision that Rose will be his 'Flower' girl. So I would definitely recommend that you give them a try.

Super hot and over the top ...

This series is turning out to be a super hot, over the top kinky love fest with a set of dirty talking Royal males who are enraptured by a wonderful array of sweet, innocent but blossoming Flowers......This time Lily is the target as she becomes the focus of a bidding war and is in a desperate situation until Hail Royal, enters stage right, with a serious case of instalust and determined to have her at any price......

There is a hero, a heroine, an evil villain, a heartless parent and also a hapless one thrown in for good measure and last but by no means least a dastardly plot...although this is a modern story the narrative and the language used is slightly antiquated and formal (apart from the sex talk and scenes...which are downright dirty) giving it a timeless quality in keeping with the classic fairy tale tradition....

A fast moving and oh so steamy romance which feels like it should end with a final bow and curtsy, a curtain call and the sound of rapturous applause...... I am so looking forward to reading the next in the series.....This novella was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads...

I liked this book soooo much better than Poppy. Don't get me wrong Poppy was a great book but Lily was just amazing!!!

Firstly I loved the pacing of the book this time round. It wasn't all 'go go go' like Poppy was. It was still an insta-love book as described but in a way it didn't feel it was.

I loved Lily and Hail's introduction to each other and I loved getting the little tidbit of info on how Hail and Lake picked who their 'Flower' would be.
I also wanted to throat punch Lily's so bad in this book!!

The only thing I'm not too keen of is the cover. Well I am but the issue I have with it is, the cover model is the same model & pose used throughout the whole series of books. In my opinion because each book is about a different character then the cover model should be different and portray that character.

Overall it was another great short novella which only takes around an hour to read.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of series.

Yes, yes, YEEEEESSSSS!!!! Michelle Horst really threw a twist in what I thought was going to be something similar to Poppy (book 1). No, no, no, Sir!! This next book in the Force of Nature Series that follows arranged marriages between the Royal and Flower families follows Lily and Hail. They both have very interesting stories. Although you don't really learn much about Hail, you do (at least I did) really fall in love with Lily almost instantly!! I know that these books are about different couples but I really hope that they show up in each others books. I really want to know more about Lily and Hail.

Provided as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.

A full series review will be completed near the end of June after all the novellas have been released.

This is the second book in this series however they can all be read as standalones. Lily was born into a wealthy family and with that comes responsibilities. She was promised to Hail Royal by her grandfather. So doesn’t want to marry Hail but it’s not up to her. Everything about Hail is dominant. Just one look at Lily and Hail knows she is meant to be his. I think I liked this one better than the first book in the series but barely. Lily didn’t have a great home life and while she didn’t want to honor her grandfather’s promise it may be her best choice and bring her the most happiness. Hail comes off as this super tuff don’t mess with me kind of guy and he is but he is more than that. For Lily he would be whoever she wanted him to be. He will do anything to make sure she is safe and protected. She means the world to him. I can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series.

Lily is the second installment of A Force of Nature Fairytale by M.A. Horst (aka, Michelle Horst). Please note that this is a novella is short and consist of instant love connection.

Lily and Hail were certainly compatible characters. Hail is dominant and Lily has just meet her match. You could say that these who have a strong power of will and Lily needs to pick her battles wisely. I love that M.A. Horst is able to interest me as a reader so quickly. As well as entertaining me through the short novella. I have to say, I enjoyed Lily’s story a lot more than the other because she was a more mature than her sister, Poppy. However, I enjoyed both installments.

Can Hail gain Lily’s submission because of love, or is she just honoring a promise?

Want to find out? Then go one-click this novella!

I look forward to reading the next installment of A Force of Nature Fairytale!

Lily's story is the second book in the (A Force Of Nature Fairytale) series and this one takes you a step further into the much darker side of traditional fairy stories.
Lily Flower has been promised to Hail Royal and when he comes to claim her she is unsure at first until her mother steps in by putting another suitor in the way. Lily soon comes to her senses and makes her decision to be Hail's wife an easy one.
Lily is a shy young girl and Hail is a man that always goes after what he wants, he is a kind and gentle man but he also likes to be in control that is until Lily makes him lose himself to her.
Their story is one that is sweet and spicy with some super hot and sexy scenes that will make you get all hot and bothered.
I am so totally in love with this series of short and erotic stories of the the Flower women and the Royal men. They are very well written and thought out by the author and great for a quick and saucy read. I cant wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
A brilliant 5 Stars!

I was asked by the author or publisher to give an honest review of this book.
I gave this one tiaras!!

I love these books! They are very sweet fairy tale love stories with a sexy side. We all want that prince charming, which is hot, sexy, hunky, and one hell of a lover. Well these Royals are and each book makes me want to read the next one even more!
I love the way I can read them in less than 2 hours and that the next one comes out quickly so that I don’t have to wait long for the next lovely story to dig into. I am already waiting for the next Royal to see where he will take his next Flower and the way he will love her.
I had never read a book by Michelle Horst but she is quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE AUTHORS!
If you love steamy romance books with a twist of the perfect guy loving a girl that doesn’t feel that she deserves it…. These books are definitely for you!

Lilly is the second short story in the Force of Nature Fairytale series and had a very similar feel to the first book (Poppy).

With the next daughter in line to chose a husband of their parents choosing, Lily would be used as a bargaining chip in order to sustain a family business. But with her relationship to her sister in jeopardy, will she lose more than her freedom with an arranged marriage or can she find her happily ever after?

Excerpt:
I want to own you, sweet Lily. I want you to obey me because it turns you on...I want you to obey me because it makes me hard. Obey me and I'll make you feel things that will surpass your wildest wet dreams.

A fast paced, sweet but sexy story. I enjoyed this story much more than the first and look forward to reading the next book focusing on Rose.

The Royals and the Flowers are back with a new couple that's adorably smutty and sexy.

I think Lily's elegance and shyness wake up Hail's protective instincts which he shows in heroic ways in a dinner hosted by her greedy parents. When he claims her, he treats her with gentleness and her innocence with care. I loved that scene.

Naturally, her gratitude turns into a feast of carnal pleasures that only multiplies before it comes to an end. Very short, but exciting and sweet as the shy flower rejects to be owned by a horrific old man and instead yields to the love of a man who cares for her happiness.

It's written with sweetness and it's perfect for a treat before bed time. And the best part is that this series has many brothers who have to marry the girl of their royal dreams! I'm eager to sink my literary teeth on Rose's romance :-)

Lily: A Force of Nature Fairytale, another over the top, insta-love, hot fairytale with a spark of kinkiness. Super-quick read, this fast paced short story featuring Poppy Flowers’ cousin, is over before you know it. Perfect for when you only have a smidgen of downtime & you’re looking for a little bump in that heart rate... you'll have it before it’s done.

I found this Beauty & the Beast-ish story to flow smoothly & really enjoyed the protective nature of Hail over the delicate, always to be cherished flower, Lily. Another short-story with potential for its gentle giant & the one he worships, to have had more to add to their fairytale.

Overall rating: 3.5

Although each book in the series is a standalone & about a different couple, this first installment will leave you ready for the next, Rose coming soon.
