Here we have the story of Alexander's brother, Andrew and Hannah sister, Susana.

I was expecting a book similar to Hannah and the Highlander, but insead I found both the hero and the heroine annoying, at least in the first part of the book.

If you want to know why, read the spoiler, but be warned, they're big, big spoilers!!!

This was very enjoyable. Susana and Andrew have fantastic chemistry and their love is believable. Isobel, Susana's daughter is a very pivotal and fun character. Excited to read Lana's book soon.

NetGalley for an honest review.

Susana and Andrew are about to have their second chance at love. They had met six years ago and began to fall in love but jealousy seeps in from another source and crushes their romance.

Susana is now a widow with a strong, beautiful, five year old daughter that keeps her very busy. She and her Father are found not safe at their castle as strange happenings are taking place around the neighboring lands. Susana's sister Hannah has recently married, so Susana's broth

This was alright, but nothing earth shattering or spectacular. I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if there had been some semblance of a real plot going on and had featured characters with more depth; it was all a bit too basic for my tastes. And the romance between Susana and Andrew felt like insta-lust rather than actual love (view spoiler)

I liked it better than the first one. Although I didn't love a few wasn't anything major.
Be aware this is a second chance romance. There is a 6-year gap.

I'm looking forward to the next book with Lana.
Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this before the release date.

Happier than Happily Ever After Review of the Advanced Copy
After having read Hannah and the Highlander I was looking forward to the next book in the series – Susana and the Scot. Let me say I was NOT disappointed. This book was excellent. Following the wedding of Hannah Dounreay to Alexander Lochlannach, Hannah’s father and sister Susana are still not safe. Alexander sends his brother Andrew along with some to protect them and the castle.

If you're in the market for a ridiculous read, with a sappy and completely unrealistic ending, this one's for you.

There are many, many issues with Susana and the Scot, but the real deal-breakers for me are:

1. By my math, Susana and Andrew met when she was somewhere in the ballpark of 15. After their misunderstanding, she rushes home to get married to a docile man with whom she never has sexual relations. A miracle baby, who looks just like Andrew is born. Fast forward five years... When it's ob

More like 2.5*. It had some funny parts, but the plot was weak. They really should've realized who the traitor was from the very beginning. But the thing that really got me was how could the H not recognize her? It was only 6 years! It just didn't make sense and was hard for me to accept. I also thought Isobel was a bit too bratty. She was only 5 so her behavior and antics were a bit much at times.

So I loved the setting, the humor and the secondary characters but the MCs were just "okay" for me.

I just never really connected with Susana, at first impression, she was pretty bad ass, chasing a cattle thief, riding like the devil and shooting arrows like a highland warrior princess. She didn't take any crap from Andrew, stood her ground and I was happy we had an h with a backbone.

It looks like I am going to have to add Sabrina York to my auto-buy list, because I am loving this Untamed Highlanders series. Both books were happy reads and put me in a good mood. I made the mistake of starting Susana and the Scot in the evening, and ended up reading it straight through until almost 3am. I was despairing a little toward the end as the battery in my tablet was dying and a storm had knocked out the power in my house!

So this is a second chance romance between our hero, Andrew Lo

This was my first read of 2016, and it was a disappointment .
i enjoyed the first book, it was a nice fum romance with the sexy scot in it, but this was lacking in so much.
The story started off slow. There was no background for the character that I could feel satisfied with after reading, it had so many lose ends.
Susana was just an annoying, loud and very obnoxious. I personally do not like women in stories who hide the child from the father for no apparent reason then that he

This is book two in the "Untamed Highlander" series. I will warn you that this series is very additive. I just like the last book (Hannah and the Highlander) it leaves me eager for the next book! I truly loved book books and just can't get enough of Ms. York's writing! I feel they are standalone books but I truly think you would enjoy reading the whole series! But enough about my love of these books let me set the story up... Our heroine is about Susana who is the second daughter of Magnus Dounr ...more

No one tells a tale like Ms. York. She has mastered the historical romance genre. This is book two in the Untamed Highlanders series and it follows Andrew as he is sent on a mission by his brother (Alexander) to provide security and protection to Dounreay Castle. Once he arrives, he meets Susana. She greets him with nothing but hostility wants nothing to do with him. Susana acts nothing like a proper lady and does everything possible to undermine Andrew and his mission.

Magnificent! Incredible! Remarkable! Brilliant! Sabrina York does it again with another breath taking, rare, can't put this book down kind of read! Another masterpiece in my opinion! This is the second book in Ms. York's wonderful, "Untamed Highlanders" best selling series and as in the first book of this Untamed Highlanders series, Hannah and the Highlander. Susana and the Scot, # 2 is the story about the heroine, Susana Dounreay, who is Hannah's sister. We met the hero of this story in the fir

Susana and the Scot is the second of 2 books in Sabrina York's Untamed Highlander's Series. It is really good if you read the first book in the series Hannah and the Highlander first, as the characters all carry over from this first book into Susana and the Scot. Hannah and the Highlander was an incredible read, so you will have no problem reading it first, and I am glad that I did!

She is at it again, my fellow Scottish romance book-loving friends. This reviewer is not sure why Sabrina York crossed over from writing contemporary to this genre, but I am verra, verra glad she did. Having absolutely loved Book 1 of this series, it is no surprise Book 2, Susana and the Scot, was equally amazing. From story of book one, Susana and the Scot opens up on the arrival of Andrew to his destination. Fate as they say, is B****.

I love this book due to the fact that the kid in this book was so adventurous! And the way she talks, to the way she "licks" ~yup she does! ~ in the series was so funny! But then again, Isobel, is not the only reason, she was the best part though.

Now, the funniest part was playing footsie. I totally lost it, i laughed so hard when I read that part and as i write this down,

Such passion, conflict, desire and humor all packed into one book! I adore second chance romance and this story by Sabrina is a great one. Susana the warrior lass has closed off her heart to love because it was crushed in her youth. Alexander, the younger brother, is off to protect his elder brother's new holldings from raiders in an attempt to pay back the debt he feels he owes his brother for protecting him from their abusive uncle. A wonderfully unexpected second chance romance, between two people who had no clue they would be connect to each other for life (through the marriage of their siblings). I love that they were both clueless that their new in-law, was their long lost love from young adulthood. Of course, this leads to tension and suspense, while they try to figure out who is trying to attack Susana's home.

Susana is such a strong character, her heart was broken but she did not give up on life. I love how she worke

I loved everything about this book. It had a great story line, second chance love, tears and laughter and good suspense. The characters had depth and strength and great banter. Andrew Lochlannach and Susana Dounreay are well suited and stubborn. Susana's five year old daughter Isobel is a little hoyden and I'm totally in love with her and I hope Sabrina York writes her book in the future. I also would love for Hamish to find his HEA.

Sabrina York's newest release, Susana and the Scot is an amazing read. This gem of a book was a pleasure to read. Susana and Andrew's story has such lovable characters, even that imp Isobel, that I was sorry the story ended. Susana's daughter Isobel knows how to drive a man bonkers and it's entertaining:
Isobel rolled her eyes. “I’m a lass,” she said, as though this made any difference. “Men should have red hair.”
“That’s all. Your hair is stupid.”
“You woke me up to tell me my hair was stupid?” And what was wrong with his hair?
“It’s not my fault you woke up.”
Andrew is a charming and honest man, "he snorted right back. “Nae.” Not with her, he didn’t. “You are a verra beautiful woman, Susana. I find myself la
I loved these three, and it truly is a romance and courting of a family coming together. Andrew is the last (actual last) person to realize that Susana is the Mairi from Perth, and Isobel bears him a striking resemblance. Everyone allows them the time to dance about their feelings and the white-hot attraction, and it isn’t until Isobel is captured with Hamish that the bond between them becomes visible to them all. I loved this book even more than the first one in this series. It's a fast read and I couldn't put it down. Andrew's brother, Alexander, has sent him to protect the lands and castle he acquired when he married Hannah.
