This novella ladies and gentlemen is another page turning hit from Katherine Bone! This is one of those stories that once you sit down to s tart reading it, you had better clear your calendar, because you won't want to put it down! Seriously - I finished this in one sitting. It contains everything one needs for a good spy story - romance, tragedy, betrayal and most importantly - well developed characters and an engaging plot! As typical with the stories I've read from this author (and most espec ...more

I just love stepping back in time with this author. I know I am guaranteed to receive a heart warming romance with swashbuckling drama. In this one the Rogue is none other than a lady who will receive her rewards thanks to her diligence and love in her heart like no other. Gillian is also part of a special group that is very important to during these times. She herself is also a very special lady with intelligence, beauty and grace daring to be involved with matters that few ladies would even da ...more

A real page turner!
I really enjoyed My Lady Rogue, written by Katherine Bone. It's her second novella in the Nelson Tea series, beware, you'll be taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions. If you love spy novels, then My Lady Rogue, will be perfect for you! This story is my favorite by this author because I really felt that it was written with passion. It's a political intrigue filled with romance and suspense. We meet again, her characters, Percival and Constance, from her first novella! I lov

Grab your oxygen tank because this book will leave you breathless!
The sparks are flying between Lady Gillian and Lord Danbury.

As the book opens, we are attending a funeral. Suitably the mood is dank and dreary.
Alas, Lady Danbury has been ill for many years, so this is not unexpected.
Her husband has done his best to remain proper and loyal but we all know his heart has belonged to another.
Still, there is a proper way to do things, and time customs before he can make his feelings known.
Who does he

Lord Simon Danbury has just buried his wife after years of lingering illness. A fact that should have him devastated but the fact was he didn’t love her. He was in love with his fellow spy, Baroness Gillian Chauncey. A love that has been reciprocated from the moment they met many years ago. Long before he formed the spy network known as Nelson’s Tea Party & recruited Gillian along with a slew of ordinary men throughout the many classes of London’s citizens.
Gillian Chauncey has been in love with

This novella tells us how and why Nelson’s Tea is formed. It also brings Baroness Gillian Chauncey and Lord Simon Danbury to the forefront. They love each other desperately but are unable to be together. To say they are tortured by this realization seems an understatement. Each of them has found an existence that works for them; Gillian has married and gained self-assurance and confidence and learned to become an excellent spy for the crown, and Simon has spent the past year pulling together a g ...more

"My Lady Rogue" is #2 in "A Nelson's Tea", while it can be read as a stand alone, I would recommend reading #1 as well. A Novella.
A quick, emotional read that will have readers turning pages as they learn the fate of "Nelson's Tea" group after the death of Admiral Nelson.
Filled with danger, spies, passion, guilt, betrayal, romance and love. The H/H learn devastating news after one in their group's betrayal. Packed full of emotional turmoil and love. While, this story has a satisfying ending, t

Gillian has waited years to be with the married man she loves. Now that the grave has ended his loveless union, she believes they’ll finally be together, until the one thing that held them together threatens to come to an end. Will their love be enough to sustain through their grief?

Unfortunately, I can only guess that the answer is yes, because this is a romance novel, one, I’m sorry to say, I couldn’t finish. It wasn’t due to the demands of other duties, but because I found the book to be ted

I received this as an ARC for an honest review. Now, i may or may not post spoilers. So read on if you dare!

This book is the 2nd in its set! I have to say that I am having a VERY hard time describing it as I do not want to post any spoilers. But the plot is super STRONG!! It will keep you glued to your seats from one twist to the next. So be ready to have your night disappear as you start this book, as you will not want to put it down till you have finished it.

This story was a great book that was full of romance, tragedy, and a new order. This book had some amazing characters especialy Gillian the leading lady. She stuck by her love even when he was with another and when tragedy struck she helped him through it. This book was an amzing production of the patriotic spirit. Great job Ms. Bone.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced story. The majority of the story takes place in Gillian's town house, where a meeting of the Nelson's Tea is taking place. I cannot wait for more in this series as the ending left me on the edge of my seat. What's not to love about spies, romance, and rogues?

Yes, reader she married him, and they continued traveling the world. Four children, two Labradors and three cats later, Katherine put down roots in the south.
