Bol tüketim toplumu, postmodernizm eleştirisi ve bir miktar mimarlık, mistisizm içeriyor. Dikkatimi çeken kentsel yayılma, siyaset, adalet, çocuk yetiştirme ve feminizm temellendirmeleri çok zayıf.

Okurların sadece Avustralyalılar olacağını düşünen yazar yer yer sıkıcı olsa da mutluluğun kapitalist düzende geldiği son noktayı gözümüzün içine sokmakta oldukça başarılı olmuş diyebiliriz.
