Introduces the history, laws, and regulation of environmental pollution, and explores the role of chemistry in environmental issues such as air and water pollution, depletion of the ozone layer, and solid waste disposal.
Planning on continuing it sometime in the future. The writing was good and interesting until the point I got to, which I think was only around 50 or so pages.
This book was fairly easy to understand even though I haven't taken a chemistry class in over 10 years. Good intro to sources and types of pollution including air, water etc.
This book is really interesting, it gives great examples of where certain compounds are and we're they come from, as well as how they affect the environment. Pretty good read if you are interested.
