This book is such a fun read. I am a fellow Kentuckian but I learned something new on every page of this book. You will know right away these girls love Kentucky - the books dedication is one of the best I've seen. This is clearly organized and written and the photographs are beautiful. A must-read for any native of KY or anyone visiting. You will get mini-history lessons from this book while planning your road trip. My bucket list grew a few notches thanks to this book.

I'd been following My Old Kentucky Road Trip blog for years. It was my little taste of home while I was living in New York, so I was thrilled when they released a book! They capture all the little-known local haunts and lore, the tales of Kentucky landmarks that you might hear through a family grapevine. So if you're looking to visit Kentucky and get the inside scoop on places to go, it doesn't get any more local than this.
