The twins enjoy the different seasons of weather together. It is a cute little vignettes of raking leaves and losing hats.

Ling & Ting are cute little characters with simple stories.

I hope to get my niece to read this and see what she thinks.

I always enjoy Ling and Ting. There is always something humorous and heartwarming that happens on their adventures.

This is one of my early reader selections for the primary bookshelf. This is the 4th book in the Ling and Ting series. Ling and Ting are twins. This story follows them through the four seasons and the adventures they have in each. This book is considered a level 3 early reader, so it is probably more appropriate for a child in 2nd grade than kindergarten. This book begins to use longer sentences and bigger words, however, sight words and repetition are still a large part of the text. There are s ...more

Absolutely love this fun series. From the colorful illustration to the twisting adventures, they are a pleasure both to read aloud and for new readers to read to themselves. Highly recommended.

Each chapter finds these inseparable twins enjoying a different season: from selling lemonade in the summer to shoveling snow in the winter Ling and Ting are in sync and repetitive in their interactions which makes the book accessible to early readers.

Twins Ling and Ting explore the changing seasons’ weather. Playing in fall leaves, braving a thunderstorm, and selling lemonade in the hot summer sun are some of the activities that Ling and Ting experience together in this early reader.

Gorgeously illustrated short chapters or "stories" about twin sisters. I first heard Lin's story on The Longest Shortest Time podcast. She studied traditional art forms and applied them to modern stories. Excited to read more!

Simple text in short chapters "stories" that are somewhat connected. Simple sentences are sometimes too simple, "Let us..." and stilted. Illustrations give young readers clues for the text.

Another great Ling and Ting adventure with homages to the first two books. Kid-friendly text and stories with old fashioned flair perfect for today's readers.
