Madame X is a hard book for me to review and rate. In all honesty, I'm not sure if I liked it or didn't. This story was different and the 'hero' if that's what you want to call him, pushed a lot of my buttons and not in a good way. I listened to the audio version and the narration was fantastic. I did, however, not love how the writing style seemed to flip from first person, to whatever it was when she was with clients. The story did have some intriguing parts and left me with some questions I

I love Jasinda Wilder… Let me tell you my story about her.

Three years ago I went to a book signing. After two hours of waiting, I finally get to meet HER (JASINDA). I just read Falling into You and Wounded (both were five stars for me). So, when I got to her, I told her how much I loved her books (I also told her I was trying to have a baby... more on that later). THEN Jasinda showed me the cover to Falling into Us (it was not public yet)… yeah I know what you are think

I've been sitting here for two days trying to put all my convoluted thoughts in words. Did I like this book? I don't know. Did I DISlike it? I don't know. I really just have no idea how I feel about the book, the characters, or the story. None. And isn't that a bitch? The entire story is one mystery hidden behind another, and there's quite a few things at work here that managed to leave me with more questions than answers n

Madame X is good at her job training the young rich how to be capable, confident men instead of arrogant and spoiled twits. As confident as she seems, Madame X doesn’t know her real name, or much at all about herself. Six years ago she woke up in a hospital broken after an attack, but not alone. Caleb was by her side and he took her in while she healed, gave her a home and a job. As benevolent as that seems it’s quickly apparent that X lives in a gilded cage, at Caleb’s beck and call an

Oh my word, I have no idea how to rate this one. First, this book drove me crazy. I didn't love how POV changes at times, like when she is with a client or sometimes with Caleb. It distracted me and in the beginning had me wanting to switch audiobooks. Second the actual plot, it completely pulled me in. I needed to know what's going to happen, how things would end. I couldn't stop listening!!

The best way to describe my conflict is to tell you about my experience while listening. In the beginnin

Madame X captured me from the first page. A Multi-layered tale with extremely well crafted characters moving through a mysterious life where there are far more questions than there are answers--but done so smoothly I barely noticed because I enjoyed reading the story so much. Well done!

Spellbinding!!!! Jasinda Wilder has once again bewitched her readers with her newest trilogy Madame X. In this first installment, Ms. Wilder has left me intrigued and consumed with so many questions as to what Jasinda has in store for her readers. Madame X trains rich, spoiled men to be well mannered, powerful and respectful to take over a prestigious company. These rich fathers spend thousands of dollars to hone their sons to better and responsible enough to handle a corporation. Most of them are bastards but Madame X isn't fazed by their arrogance and insults. She's beautiful, exquisite and tactless. She's good on her job and highly in demand. Her identity remai

Edgy and provocative, suspenseful with irresistible tension. It’s a twisted, modern-day fairytale with secrets so deep, you won’t want to stop reading.

“You’re mine, and only mine.”

Jasinda Wilder spins her most provocative, most suspenseful tale yet with Madame X. A modern-day mystery, with notes of inspiration from Rapunzel and Cinderella, the story draws you in from the very beginning. The combination of Jasinda’s sharp, sensually atmospheric writing and a multi-layered story steeped in secre

Look at that pretty cover. Aww... How could I'm not attracted to the mysterious aura around it? It seems that I fell in the some hole. Don't judge book by it's cover. I couldn't believe that I'm wrong about this book. It was not like what I wanted. Blow my mind in bad way. For me, Madame X is hard to enjoy but I still survive. Sigh.

Jasinda's books always touch me.
Three of her books are on my 6 Stars top shelf and therefore I was expecting to enjoy this.
What I wasn't expecting was this story to be completely different from her others.
So intriguing and refreshing!

I wanted to love it but sadly this book just wasn't for me :(

This review is hard for me to write. Since reading Falling Into You I’ve been a fan of Jasinda Wilder’s writing. I love that she writes complex stories that have unique characters. So, initially I was so excited to read Madame X. I wanted to like this story, I really did, but sadly it just didn’t work for me.

Even though it was not what I anticipated, the concept of Madame X was interesting enough. Madame X was a women full of beauty, g

Wow, this book was so well written – it takes you on quite a journey and it’s just the first book of a new series by Jasinda Wilder. I can honestly say I haven’t read anything quite like it.

Madame X is sophisticated, smart and doesn’t have any idea who she is. She was rescued by Caleb Indigo now her protector, dominate as well as her employer. He keeps her safe while uses her services to help educate rich spoiled boys on how to handle them

WOW!! Spellbinding, engrossing and sensual, Madame X is a richly detailed story that is filled with mystery and suspense. Very adult and incredibly sexy, this story completely took me by surprise and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The blurb to this book is really just a small part of this story, and it is interesting that none of the main characters are mentioned by name in the synopsis. I had not read any reviews on this one going in so I am going to keep this short. If

This is one of those books that I will not tell you what it is about. I went in not knowing anything about the story line and I'm so glad I did. There are just some books you gotta just dive in and this is one of them. What you do need to know is that it's dark, the heroine is in a pretty twisted situation and I don't even know who the true Hero is in the story. It is not a safe read and not for the faint of heart.

I gave this 5 stars because I was just enthralled with what was happening and was

Wow! Just wow! This story has my mind reeling. It was utterly addictive and intriguing. It was nothing like what I expected it to be.

“Silence breathes truth; solitude breeds introspection.”

Madame X trains rich, arrogant boys into men worthy of their wealth. She is very good at her job and it is one of the only things she knows. Having been found after a horrific ordeal, Caleb Indigo took her in and taught her to be who she now is.

WOW. I can't remember the last time I checked out of life to read a book from start to finish. Despite my post-brain-surgery headache, I just could not put Madame X by Jasinda Wilder down. In fact, I was so enthralled, so engrossed, I didn't take notes, or highlight quotes, I was simply too involved to have my reviewer's hat on. (I had to re-read to get quotes)

This is by far Jasinda's best work yet. A mystery filled novel that had me entranced and intrigued from cover to cover. Madame X is a work of art. Half the book you spend enthralled in what is happening while the other half you spend crafting theories on the many questions you are left with chapter after chapter.
