If you're thinking about reading this book:

Ugh...this book was so bad. I should've just kept it as a do-not-read rather than getting curious in order to find out if it was really that bad. And it was. OMG was it ever. And I love that my original remarks about this book were right on the mark ("Manwhore H who's a sexist douche.") about the so-called "hero." The only positive thing I have to say about this is THANK GOD I borrowed it and didn't pay.

The "hero"/zero is a total sexist manwhore. He has
Very much a contemporary slick romance with a try too hard sex life. From the male characters (both the hero and the heroine’s brothers) claims that they can get sex any time they want as well as all the sex it was hard to believe and a little gross.

The writing was accomplished and slick. Despite some misgivings with the character actions it was easy and quick to read.

Basic plot:
The hero and heroine have been friends for years. Actually he’s been friends with her older brothers and has liked her

Sometimes, you read a book where the characters are so perfect for each other but just can't get it right and all you want to do is shake some sense into them - that's exactly how I felt as I was reading this book.

Teagan O'Brien took a risk getting involved with her best friend and it blew up in her face when he walked away and broke her heart. It's been a few years since then and now he's back wanting a second chance, something she is definitely not willing to give him, but her body does not s

After reading the first book in this series, the author had definitely piqued my interest in Teagan and Nick. I can honestly say that she did a fantastic job at telling their story here in Coming Apart at the Seams.

Nick...oh, wow. I absolutely adored him. The way he is written, it's almost impossible not to--he's the kind of guy that you're sympathetic toward due to his impediment, but still lust after thanks to him being exceedingly hot and sexy--and a football player to boot. He's also incredi

OH MY HEART! this story and the love that these 2 have for each other was so heart wrenching! This story proved that opening your heart and putting yourself out there and facing the chance of rejection is one of the scariest, bravest, most daring things that a person can do but OH MAN the rewards can be life-altering!

Look for my series review at on 12/1 - release date for book 2 in this fantastic HOT Contemporary Romance series!

Oh yes. Sutton has charmed me completely!

Okay so the quick of it is that Nick was best friends with Teagan's brothers and while the two of them were living away from home for a few years they struck up a friendship of their own. One that, of course, led to more...and a spectacularly bad break up. And, now, years later, Nick is ready to make amends and try to win back the woman he's never stopped loving. She however? Still mi

I read a couple of the negative reviews that have been posted about this book after I had already read Coming Apart at the Seams. I have to wonder if those people actually read the book because I have a completely different take on the hero. I thought he was one of the more nuanced characters I’ve read in a romance, and by the end of the book, I absolutely loved him.

I thought the author portrayed Nick very realistically given his status as a pro athlete who is good looking, wealthy, and unattach

So in love right now! Teagan and Nick are exceptional and will leave you wanting more. This story is so emotional. There were several scenes that had me bawling like a baby. These two were made for each other. Nick has his work cut out for him after the way he left things years ago. Teagan and Nick had a close friendship going on. It was beautiful to read about. Teagan’s character is sure of herself and knows what she wants out of life. Nick, on the other hand, is swimming in

Coming Apart at the Seams by Jenna Sutton is the 2nd book in her Riley O’ Brien & Co. series. Teagan O’Brien is our heroine in this book; she played a big part in the first book. Teagan is now fully working for Riley O’Brien, and to her dismay, she finds out that Nick, the man she loved and lost was coming to work for the firm.

Nick Priest is a famous pro football player, who is best friends with Quinn and Cal (Teagan’s brothers), and he is also a heartrob. Nick knows he hurt Teagan years before

When this series first crossed my radar, I passed it up.

I thought about it a few times, but I passed it up again. Nothing truly grabbed me with the synopsis of book one and my TBR list was simply too long. But one day I was grocery shopping and ALL THE RIGHT PLACES was sitting on the shelves. Epilogue reader that I am read the end and just. Like. That...

I knew that this was a series I dumbly put to the side.

I so loved this book! From the beginning until the end, it's super sexy. Nick & Teagan are electrifying together! Then there is the sweet side to the book. I can't even tell you how many "awww"'s passed through my mind as I read it. I won't forget them anytime soon!

Teagan O'Brien has worked hard to earn her position at Riley O'Brien & Company even though she's an heir to the founder and her entire family works there. She never wanted anything handed to her, and only wanted to work there if she w

A phenomenal follow-up to All the Right Places. I love a romance where the characters have a history--it creates a richer story that can explore the evolution of love rather than a spontaneous big bang of love.

There's nothing sweet about this story--it's raw, emotional, and complex. Nick and Teagan's story is a journey of friendship, love, regret, grace, commitment, and perseverance.

Nick and Teagan are both flawed, imperfect, but aren't we all??? It's refreshing to read a novel where the charact

I have been dying for his story ever since I first met him in the previous book All The Right Places when he was introduced as the best friend of Quinn and there was hints he had broken the cardinal rule of best friends.

AWESOME FOLLOW-UP! I was able to get my hands on this book before its release date. And I can absolutely tell all you romance fans out there that you're gonna love it!

Why? Because it has two extremely vivid and well rounded characters who pull you into their story. And boy do they have one rollercoaster of a story. I really enjoyed the first book in this series (ALL THE RIGHT PLACES) but this second book is better (if you can believe it!).

I was the fortuitous recipient of an advanced copy of "Coming Apart at the Seams". I was a little hesitant because I didn't think I would love it as much as Sutton's first book, "All the Right Places". (Second books in series' often leave me feeling a little bit unfulfilled.) But to my delight, I was wrong!

This book was captivating and I read it cover-to-cover without putting it down. The storyline was fluid and believable, the characters were appealing and relatable, and the sex scenes made me

When Coming Apart at the Seams showed up on my doorstep, I really didn’t know what I was getting into with it. I hadn’t read book one in the series, but the cover, the blurb and the punny title definitely piqued my interest, so I went in open-minded, and came out feeling pretty happy…

This second story in the Riley O'Brien & Co series is about the sister. Yes, the one you may not have liked as much in the first book. But in COMING APART AT THE SEAMS I actually came to understand some of her bitter personality and where she came from, and actually liked her a bit!

We know her brothers' best friend wants her back after a bad past between them. We finally get to see the backstory. Of how Nick fell for his best friend's little sister, the connection they shared and how they bo

LOVE everything about Nick, Teagan, their emotional story. Nick Priest is a star football player with the world at his fingertips. This man is flawless.... or is he? This is a great follow-up to Jenna Sutton's first novel! Friends to lovers stories are my favorite type of romance and Coming Apart at the Seams really did a great job of covering all the bases. I laughed! I cried! She did a great job developing the characters and really I enjoyed leaning about their history and how their relationship developed. There's so much pain, anger, hurt, passion, heat, lust, and love in this story. The emotions are broad and profound, the angst and uncertainty in nearly every scene.
The relationship they are building, over months of being just friends, are shadowed of the constant lust filled thoughts, they can't seem to be able to escape.
The foundation of their relationship was built over years of Nick being a family friend. But now it was personal, and their common interests, and unique connection and underst

My review cross-posted from Wit and Sin:

Coming Apart at the Seams starts off fast, furious, and red-hot, then turns into something much more. Jenna Sutton’s second Riley O’Brien & Co. book is an excellent blend of sweetness, hope, heartbreak, sensuality, and second chances.

Teagan O’Brien is smart, confident, and can’t be rattled – except by Nick Priest. Nick has always been her brothers’ friend, but a few years ago Teagan and Nick became friends in th

Coming Apart at the Seams by Jenna Sutton combines some of my very favorite tropes: hot, sensitive football player (Sports Romance), friends to lovers, falling for the best friend's little sister, and second chance romance. It's total win.

A few years ago, BFFs Teagan and Nick had a thing, and he left. He wants to rekindle their relationship, but friends isn't enough for him--he wants it all. Som

I was already intrigued by the backstory between Teagan and Nick after the kiss they shared in All the Right Places. I knew I had to read their story, and what a story it turned out to be!

Teagan is Quinn's sister. She works for the family business and she's a lawyer. She's smart, hard worker, and loves her family. She is tight with her two brothers although she almost messed up Quinn and Amelia's relationship. She fell in love with Nick years ago when they both were living in Boston. She tho

Nick has known Teagan and her family for fifteen years through a friendship with Teagan's older brother, Quinn. Friendship slowly turned into something more, until Nick freaked out and shattered Teagan's heart, leaving her a shell of the woman she used to be. Coming Apart at the Seams is just what you hope for when you pick up a sweet 2nd chance romance! Teagan and Nick know one another through Teagan's brother Quinn (the hero from All the Right Places, Book 1 in this series.) Nick and Teagan find themselves living in Boston at the same time and knowing very few people. Being across the country from most of their friends and family, they soon develop a meaningful friendship. It doesn't take long for that friendship to develop into more, but neither w ...more

Wow! Jenna Sutton has created a perfect read. "Coming Apart at the Seams" has the right amount of sweetness and romance combined with a generous portion of sexy, fun.
