Luci Cunningham had a heart-wrenching affair with her high school chemistry teacher. Beautiful Torment told the story, ending with Luci, now a college senior home on winter break, bringing her sister a paper she forgot at home. Walking through the doors of her old high school is jarring, especially now that she's only finally starting to overcome her broken heart. The last ...more

”You broke my heart,” she repeats.

“Let me fix it,” I whisper.”

Where to begin? This story is told in alternating POVS of both the hero and the heroine. It does start the next day after the last line of book one. To be honest, some of the writing is wonderful and then the story would flip flop to the awkward and uncomfortable. The couple is working their way back to a new together after Luci is set to graduate college and Josh is hell bent on asking for another chance with his former student.

Cannot wait to read conclusion! Book 1 in this teacher-student forbidden romance… geeh did they take risks!

Books in Beautiful series should be read in order:
Book 1: Beautiful Torment
Book 1.5: Beautiful Mess
Book 2: Beautiful Dreams
Book 2.5: Beautiful Endings
★★★ 4 ~ 3 STARS!

After their heart-breaking event at the end of Beautiful Torment, I couldn't stop thinking about what'll happened between them. They met again after two and half years later. In the school. It was all coincidence. Part of me still angry with Josh Harrington. He thinks he's doing the best for both of them. Uh huh... I don't think so. Never keep sh!t from someone you love.
“What can I do to make you not hate me?” My voice is low and pleading. “Tell me and I’ll do it.”

The way the book was written was the ONLY thing that kept me going. Being a sucker for Happy Endings. I still did not want Luci to get back with Josh. Cause, honestly the girl is just too spineless, too easy when it comes to this guy. LYING BY OMISSION, is still LYING. The Second books usually consist of alot begging and pleading done by the hero because of the grave mistake commited by them and this book though had a few scenes in

Let me start by saying as soon as I finished book one of this series I was opening up book two. I really loved it! I once again lost sleep because of Paige’s books! I’m not complaining about it! It was such an enjoyable read.
Luci and her past teach Josh had an affair that ended badly in book one. After a few years apart, Luci runs into Josh after having to drop something off at school for her younger sister. The spark is still there and you are really rooting for them. Will they get their happi

I actually think this second book was slightly better than the first. It was more mature and the writing was less awkward. Yes there was less sex but we actually got more of a story line. And it was great to see that Josh wanted more than just sex.

I enjoyed it, though that scene at the end with the breast milk. Yeah, that's gonna be hit or miss with people I think.

Sadly this is a DNF for me- I LOVED the first book….and I'm obviously the odd man out in this one. The "dirty talk" is so awkward and immature that I skim over it in hopes that it will quickly end. Student/Teacher are my favorites but this one left me …….feeling awkward and "unfulfilled".

Luci acted and was treated like a teenager still (lives at home and still heavily relies on parents)

Josh still never lets Luci make decisions, and Luci for all her complaining seems fine with that

I honestly thought this story would be dull and I'd DNF it, because what could possibly be interesting now that Luci is no longer Josh's student? But the force of the story kept me going, and I read the whole thing in one sitting to see what happened.

It gets really repetitive with the sex scenes. There are just too many of them, compared to actual plot.

I'm really disappointed that the author didn't bother to get a proofreader for this book, either. There are SO MANY mistakes, an
Ahhh sweet ending to this student-teacher romance. This started off a bit frustrating with the never-ending apologies from Josh. Clearly, he messed up in book one. However I felt like Luci was being a bit hard on him too. She couldn't really expect there to be a good ending to their illicit romance. She was too young and I can understand that is what Josh saw.

This book however she was older and presumably wiser so there was no resson they couldn't be together. When she finally gets over her ins

The beginning of the book was interesting, as we wanted to know how Luci and Josh would restart after everything that happened in the first book.

There was a lot of pain and hurt still hanging on and I wanted to know how they would overcome it

BUT then the entire book was all about back and forth and unnecessary drama just for them to end up together again (because you know they will) so it just made the book so boring and predictable for me

Some part of the story, like the Britney part (the bla

Much like the first book in this series, I loved the first half before the sex scenes took over and left little in their wake. I became bored as all the character development etc. was pushed aside for something we've already read so much of before in other books and this book's precedent.

Four years ago Luci fell for her chemistry teacher and then got her heart ripped to shreds from a secret. Now, she runs into Mr Harrington again and agrees to go to dinner with him to hear him out. She can't deny their chemistry is still burning and alive, but she can't get passed being lied to and being hurt. How can she give him a second chance after everything that has passed? But he

I definitely loved this book more than the first! The first was great and all but this book had more substance and made Josh more then the horny teacher:) I was disappointed at how long it took for them both to get back together but respected that they didn't just jump eachother. Luci was so awesome and it was sweet that she chose Alice to name her daughter! And I don't know about everyone else but I thought the breast feeding scene was really sweet and kind of funny. Looking forward to the nex ...more

After reading the first book I had been way to excited for the second to come out. Seriously mad because it wasn't yet lol. I guess it's the whole taboo student/ teacher aspect of it but my god did I love this book just as much as the first. The fact that she was no longer his student had no effect what so ever for me. The first book built it up so great that there was no going down after :) I loved these characters and their story. The struggle of their relationship and all the drama that comes ...more

So frustrated..

Why anytime I enjoy a story and it has a cliffhanger, the continuation isn't as good. I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed. I gave two stars because it started like it was going to be good. Then hearing Josh speak more and more didn't remind me how he was in Beautiful Torment. Both H and h I enjoyed in BT here they annoyed me. Sorry I don't recommend this one unless you have trouble sleeping.

I read the first of this series and it continues on after the first book left off. The story this time didn't really grab my attention as the first one did with all the back and forth of wherever they are meant to be together or not but it was still enjoyable to read. With a HEA it draws to a close

Well this was the best read I have experienced in quite I while...when you read daily as I do it is so easy to get into the "book blues". For me to add any book to my favorites shelf it has to really live up to some over achieving expectations. I really liked the male POV, such a great change. I really want to read more from this author.

I'm a total dreamer. I like to dabble in a bit of everything. Writing a story started out as one of my "bucket list" items. I'm an avid reader, guilty to always staying up late (re: all night!), reading book after book. I have a ton of ideas that are always floating around in my head - a procrastination effect that distracts me from my actual job (which is not writing lol). Then, one day I did it ...more
