Mated to a dragon...

More fun than you think. Yes, biting! Adventure story with prophecies and a pair of skill aligned twins. Liked Elli and Adam and Frost and Flint, but honestly, trying to set up an alternate world with its rules and history is hard in a short time so it felt rushed in bits. All kinds of dangling bits for future development as I believe the author intends.
Loved it! Ginger dragon could I not? :D

Sexy, sweet, and at times, nervewracking. Wonderful characters, world building, and plot. The build up was especially well done. I was happy :)

The ending came fast, though, and a felt a little rushed.

Future stories might happen, and if so, I'd love to read them.
Pretty good. Some anachronistic language, and it feels like it starts in the middle of the story, but not bad.

Offered for FREE from the M/M Romance Group's Love's Landscapes event. Thank you too all the amazing authors who participated!

Well wasn't this just lovely! The plot really carried this story. Although there was a romance, it was subtle and slow. Wonderful secondary characters, I loved the little surprise with Adam's twin sister (view spoiler), as well as her and Morin's history. It felt as if there could have been a whole other book on their mating and adventure

I loved this story. Dragon(shifters), mates, adventures! I really like the plot. As the story progresses, we find out more about the world, the Draq, the Order and our characters.

Elli, her mate, Frost go rescue her twin brother, Adam. Flint, Frost's brother, comes along to help out. Flint has a special connection with Adam, but doesn't act on it right away. Poor Adam is injured and needs time to heal, plus they are on the run to escape the 'Order'.

The Order is a form of government, who consists
I'm sorry to say I can't join into the row of good reviews. I was struggling through this story even considering to not finishing it. While I appreciate a complex story the short story just wasn't the right medium for. Cutting out several unnecessary story twists or information would have done the whole thing a world of good. For example, The elaborate preparations to not fall into the hands of The Order on the run which take up a lot of pages and then, they'll be captured anyhow and we don't ev ...more

Thank you! Great story out of a long prompt.
Plus, dragons! I'll look for the next books. Great potential for a new series.
3.5 Stars (rounded up). There is a lot more story left that could easily become a 4+ star novel. I would love to read how the prophecy is fulfilled.

Dragon shifters (non-mpreg) is my favorite trope in the genre of M/M paranormal romance, so I was very much looking forward to reading this. I have to say, I was quite torn at the end and whether I should go with 3 or 4 stars. Ultimately I decided to go with four just for the way the author handled Elli’s situation. I liked that there was no insta-love between Adam and Ethon but grew to what it was. What I didn’t like was the constantly switching names for our shifter heroes. They are introduced ...more

An interesting set up and, I believe, faithful to the prompt, but I didn't think the story flowed well. It seemed rushed in some parts and dragged in others. I appreciated the twist with Eli's characters. It's nice to see trans characters, but it didn't seem relevant to the plot. Which to be honest wouldn't have bothered me (because diversity is good and that's a good enough reason to be there) except that it felt like just one more, 'why is this here' aspect. There seemed to be a lot of things ...more
I enjoyed this book. It gave you everything you needed to know about the background of what was going on without the dragging detail and was quick and to the point. It was helpful without taking away from the present story. The story flowed well and I liked the characters. The romance was a bit insta-love but I liked that the characters in love didn't immediately fall into bed together. They communicated which I loved. The story moved quickly without being rushed and had a good start an interest ...more

(3.5 stars) Was a good story. I like the characters and the world created, but I wish there was more. I think it could use a little more back story built up for each character and some more detail throughout Ethon and Adam getting to know each other (the whole portion once they got to Sera seemed very skimmed over). There are also so many pieces built up and added to the plot that are just left hanging at the end it would be great if there were a sequel to follow this and explore what happens ne ...more

This was an interesting story, a start to a good idea that I hope to see written more about in future. This story is a 3.5 star book for me. There were elements I enjoyed and parts I would have liked to have seen fleshed out better. I also felt that the author enjoyed writing more about the MCs twin and her mate, which I have to admit I liked better myself. I would love to see more of this world in a longer story, this is a great start!
Dragon shifters, magic, mates, this had so much that I usually love. And it was good, but the things I was most excited about didn't seem to be as focused-on.

The cover says this is part of a series, so perhaps I'll look into seeing if there really are more, and if there's more dragons and magic in those ones.

OMG! This was such an amazing book. Solid plot, action, thrills, adventure, great character development, and, most importantly, HEAs. I want MORE--more about Adam and Flint and more about the Draqborn--pretty please? I'll whine if that helps. :-) ...more

this was a pretty awesome read! I love it I hope it becomes a series because it's pretty promising as one and I really want to know about this prophesy and where it may lead....there's still so much that could come out of this!
looking forward to it... (especially the promise of mpreg!) o(^0^)0
Wonderful story, would love if it continued.

A promising storyline and engaging characters. Feels a little rushed but enjoyable nonetheless.

Meh. This could have been better. The writing was good and the story was on but when they got to the mating the writing became awful. Like the story got to long and the author had to hurry.
