HIS DAKOTA HEART, book 7 of DAKOTA HEARTS

How do you say goodbye to a love when it had no ending? Gray McKinnon has spent two years struggling with moving on when the woman he loved suffered an accident that left her in a coma and no hope of recovery. Everyone urged Gray to move on. He's had plenty of offers to help him mend his broken heart on and off the rodeo circuit. But moving on is easier said than done when your heart belongs to someone else. At least, he thinks so until he sees Nina Hendrix again.

Nina couldn't help falling in love with her big sister's cowboy any more than she could bring her sister, Jen, back from her coma. She's kept her distance from Gray out of respect for her sister. But when her family decides to move Jen to another medical facility a few states away, she can't help but reach out to Gray, even though she has no illusions that he could love her the way she loves him. She won't let herself be just another woman passing through his life, helping him forget. But one night in his arms makes her realize there is no future for them if every time he looks at her he sees the one woman he can never have.

Loved this one! Gray McKinnon has had a hard time moving on after his girlfriend was involved in an accident that left her in a coma two years ago. He doesn't think he will ever find love again until Nina Hendrix comes back to town. Problem is it's Nina's sister that is in the coma.

Great read that deals with these two struggling with their feelings and the guilt they feel. Another excellent book in this series. I highly recommend it.

His Dakota Heart

This story is of a young cowboy who had loved a young girl only to lose her in an accident that left her as a vegetable as she had never regained consciousness after her ordeal and he had had a crush on her younger sister and felt that now with the passing of one sister he could make a life with the younger one as she was his love forever. Good read

This one is a little more somber than the others. The woman he's loved is in a coma and he can't seem to find his happiness ........until her sister makes contact again. She loved him before her sister ever met him, but she Canadian her heart again. A little sex, a lot of sadness, some romance and a lot of reminiscing. Highly recommend.

REVIEW: DAKOTA HEARTS SERIES--BOOK 7: HIS DAKOTA HEART BY: LISA MONDELLO

His Dakota Heart: a western romance (Dakota Hearts Book 7) by Lisa MondelloMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Two years later Nina and Gray are still reeling from an unexpected tragedy. Trying to pick up the pieces and go on is proving to be hard for each of them. Nina lost her sister, Gray lost the love of his life. Grieving is never easy for anyone involved. Moving on is never easy either. Lisa Mondello did a beautiful job of creating an atmosphere where each individual character is trying to make the best of a tough situation. I loved how the story ended up come full circle and the characters ended up gaining what they needed from the most unexpected and overlooked of places. His Dakota Heart is an emotional heartwarming tale about appreciating the things that you have, not what you've lost. I received a copy of this story for an honest review(www.goodreads.com/review/list/2555691...)

His Dakota Heart by Lisa Mondello
Dakota Hearts Series Book Seven
Gray McKinnon's life was in a holding pattern. He went through each day but never moved forward. His girlfriend had been in a coma for two years and he just couldn't move past it. Couldn't let her down by moving on when she couldn't. Until now. Choices were being made that were forcing changes in his life too.

Nina Hendrix needed to look forward. After two years, her parents were doing so. They were moving on both physically and emotionally. Why of all times did Gray show back up in her life now?

Gray is Ian's brother, from Dakota Wedding. Cousin to the McKinnon's in the first six books of this series. I've enjoyed them all and can't wait to read more about Gray's brother and sister. Gray and Nina's story is a difficult relationship. More obstacles to overcome. The author did a wonderful job of bringing it together. If you tear up easily...tissue alert.

Gray was in love with Nina's sister, Jen. But then an accident took her from them. She's been in the hospital in a coma for two years. The doctors told them she would remain in a vegetative state but Gray has hung on. Now the family has decided to make some changes in their life. Can Gray let go of Jen? And what of Nona? She and Gray were friends first. And Nina has been in love with him since before Jen ever met him.

We get to know a little of some of the other McKinnon family that will be featured in the next couple books. I enjoyed this story and look forward to the next.

Language was clean, but there was a sexual situation. Written in good taste though.

Great romance

This is Gray McKinnon and Nina's story. Nina is Jens sister, who is in a vegetative state after wrecking her vehicle and lapsing in a coma several years ago. Nina was best friends with Gray and loved him, when she went back to college for her final semester her sister, Jen started following Gray to his rodeo's and dating. Nina's parents decide to relocate to Chicago, moving Jen to a specialized hospital. Nina and Gray reconnect and share their feelings to develop their romance. Excellent story.

I loved this book. A nice romantic story mixed with sadness. I've only read 2 books in this series and I feel like I'm part of the family. I love reading stories like this. I never want them to end.
