Recommends it for: anyone who loves poetry.
Shelves: poetry, bisexual
Jennifer Perrine is a poet's poet. This book won the Bisexual Book Award for Poetry as well as a Prairie Schooner Book Prize. It is just beautiful. If I could give it a sixth star for the bi content, I would.

Jennifer Perrine's third collection offers poems on an array of important themes: gendered violence, LGBT experience, coming of age, hope. It was a treat to teach this book and then host the poet at Mount Mercy University. I can't wait for her next collection.
