Can missing a fatal flight be the wake up call Harrison needs?

When Harrison Kelley is banned from getting on Flight HA1710, it seems to be the perfect ending to a crappy couple of days. Not only did he wreck a wedding, but he’s drunk way too much and been on the receiving end of the groom’s brother’s fists. Being escorted out of the airport by security was just the icing

Harrison has had a massively unhealthy relationship with Antony, who is getting married the next day. Why Harrison would put himself through being there for the wedding is a mystery. For his part, Antony is toxic, a cheater and a liar. When things come to a head at the wedding, Harrison is given the blame for everything and ends up in a fight with Antony’s brother which results in being barred from the flight home. Mutual friend Elijah defends him and decides to stay with Harrison. The fact

When I requested this book, I did not realize it was part of a series. The good news is you do not need to read the other books to understand this one. Not only are they written by different authors and about different characters, the connecting theme—the crash of Flight HA1710—is explained in this book, so I didn’t feel disconnected.

I truly enjoyed this book because it made me think about decisions I’ve made in my life and where I might be had I not made them. Some of the decisions are good, an

Despite being part of a series, the books do not appear to be connected. I really enjoyed this one! The idea that one moment in time, one choice, can so deeply impact our lives. It makes me wonder what I have missed or gained from the small decisions I've made in life.

Well worth the read. Full review to go up on The Novel Approach.

“...Who am I to blame you for doubting what you feel? ... I took for granted the friend I have in you ... You followed me through changes and patiently you'd wait, till I came to my senses through some miracle of fate... The search is over, love was right before my eyes.” ~ Survivor (Search is Over)

4 Heart Review by Tammy

Harrison Kelley has been in love with Antony since they were in high school and it took Antony getting married to Caroline to make him realise that all he’d ever been to Antony was a booty call, someone to call and have sex with when he was he in the mood. It never mattered to Antony who he slept with so long as he got what he wanted he was happy. What made it even worse for Harrison was the fact that Antony convince him to sleep with him after he was engaged to marry Caro

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars

Oooh, surprisingly, Elijah and Harrison turned out to be my favortie couple, so far, out of this Flight HA1710 series. The series revolves around the crash of the plane and as I mentioned before, those who were in it or not on said plane, their lives were inadvertently changed for the better or worse.

Harrison had been in a destructive relationship. It was a relations

As the fourth book in the Flight HA1710 Series, this one not about a passenger on the plane, but about someone who misses the flight because of other circumstances. Harrison has been in love with Anthony his whole life. But, Anthony is marrying someone else. Someone being a woman. That doesn’t stop Anthony from propositioning Harrison the night before the wedding, but getting rejected. Things become chaotic when the bride thinks that the two men did spend the night together and Harrison gets bla ...more

Sometimes unexpected mistakes can lead to unexpected joys. I think that there might be a tiny bit of survivor's quilt working on Elijah and Harrison for having missed Flight HA1710 but the bases of Fallout is about their connection and opening themselves up to the possibilities that they could be so much more to each other. So well written and the characters just blend perfectly, especially with all the drama that led up to the boys missing the flight.

I did enjoy this one - despite the two main characters, Harrison and Elijah, not actually being on the plane.

The main characters, Harrison and Elijah, are in London for a wedding. Harrison has had an on/off with Anthony, the groom, for over 14 years and despite not wanting to be more involved, Harrison has to fend off Anthony on the night before the wedding.

The story is largely the build uo to and the reception of the wedding, and the fallout of Harrison's perceived actions. There is also f

This was a bit different to the other Flight HA1710 stories as the two main characters; Harrison and Elijah don't board the plane. After a friend's wedding and the bust up that ensued at the reception Harrison gets drunk and is barred from the plane. Elijah stays behind with him and the two men wake up the next morning to news that the plane has crashed. As the two men try to find out how the friends are they both work through the 'what if's' and their own feelings about each other. This was a b ...more
