What an intriguing novella. Rand returns to the world of Vikings and Norsemen, taking readers on a quick adventure. She brings this world back to life in the same vivid manner that we’ve come to know, love, and expect. Rand transports readers back in time with this well written, fast paced, at times heated, novella.

Being single-minded to the extreme is a character trait possessed by both members of our leading couple. It leads to some comical & explosive moments. These two were great togethe

Violetta Rand’s fourth installment of the Blind Series delivers raw and provocative Viking Lore.

Marteinn Dalgaard is the fearless captain—the broken hearted warrior—no woman could call her own. Mercia, the mysterious and beautiful innocent, insists she’ll marry, but procrastinates whenever she’s asked to choose a suitor. That is, until she’s captivated by the magnificent Marteinn.

Drawn like a moth to a flame, the physical tension between the pair is palpable. Yet, Marteinn admits to Mercia, he

What a fun Viking romance to enjoy!
I have finished reading a short and sweet Viking novella , written by Violetta Rand. Blind Confession, is the fourth story in her series Blind.
Abandoned, by Kara, the woman he loved, Captain Marteinn wants to escape his misery by winning the summer games in Lagenheim. The adventure starts as Marteinn, tries desperately, to become the grand winner, to obtain a favor from Jarl Erik the Bald. He no longer wishes to be his personal guard. Will he win? Will his wis

This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome Story! I love this series! Violetta Rand is a incredible author. I love all the Viking history in each of her books as well as the creativity and romance.

I felt so sorry for Marteinn in Blind Redemption as his love for Kara was so heartbreaking. To see him overcome that in this one is beautiful, I really like Mercia she gives Marteinn a run for his money and will keep him on his toes for years to come. Violetta doe

This is a great Viking story. Violetta Rand is a amazing author. I started this series on this book, book 4. It was still a wonderful story. I can't wait to read the whole series. Marteinn and Mercia are wonderful. I love the name Marcia. If you love a good love story. Set in Viking Times. That are dead on. This book is for you. I highly recommend this book and the series...

Blind Confession

This was another read very interesting characters and lots of excitement with love. I enjoyed reading this book .I only wish it had been a bit longer. I do hope there will be another in this series. Thank you for this amazing read.

I have given Blind Confession a 3 1/2 Star rating. My reasons are: 1. It was disturbingly short 80 pages. This story states it is Book 4. The other three stories were full stories, this should not be book 4, maybe 3.5 because it is a Novella. This could have been as exceptional as the other books in the series, but because it was too short I cannot give it he same praise. It was good and entertaining, but there should have been much more and for me it left a cliffhanger, which I do not like in t ...more

Author Violetta Rand has another smash hit in Blind Confession. Blind Series - Book Four.
Captain Marteinn Dalgaard is a fearless warrior, but has no intention of letting a woman get close to his heart again.
Mercia is beautiful, innocent and a bit mysterious and refuses to say yes to a man's suit. That is until these two meet.
There is immediate chemistry between Marteinn & Mercia, but Marteinn has no intention of allowing any woman into his heart. Mercia doesn't want to care or fall in lov

This is a very good very short read. I had some misgivings about the subject as I do not usually read Viking Romance. I tend to read Scottish historical or Tudor era romance and historical fiction. This is as I said a very short read of only 80 pages.
The story begins in Lagenheim, Norway 1071. Marteinn is a warrior who grew up in the midst of Vikings after fleeing his native country with his mother as a child. It is time for the games. If he wins, he may ask the Jarl for a favor. Because he feel

“Blind Confession” is my first book by Violetta Rand. I’ve received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I thought I’d have problems getting into the story as this is the fourth installment in her Blind Series. I was wrong. I’ve been pulled into it as soon as I started to read – so much so, that now, I’m anxious to read the first three novels. “Blind Confession” is well-written and Violetta’s characters are well-defined, fully-fleshed and interesting. I also appreciated the historical bi

Blind Confession was a quick and enjoyable historical romance read. I liked it and I thought it was a nice romance.

Both characters were strong-willed and stubborn. Mercia refused to settle for anything less than the only made that would make her happy. Marteinn felt deeply, so when he fell, he fell hard. I did get somewhat frustrated with them because they seemed to make things much harder than they needed to be. But, I still liked them.

The romance was nice. There were definitely sparks constant

This series keeps getting better!

If you enjoyed the first three books in Violetta Rand’s Blind series as much as I have, hold on to your seat because you won’t be able to put, Blind Confession, down. This author gets better with each book, and you won’t be disappointed in the fourth installment of this sensually charged Viking series.
Feeling betrayed when the woman he loves marries another man, fearless Viking warrior, Marteinn Dalgaard’s sets out to win a favor from Jarl Erik the Bald. He is de

I received this as a complimentary e-book and was asked to provide a review. I enjoyed the first two-thirds of the book. I found the geographic setting and physical descriptions well-defined. The character development proceeded at a pace that gave me a good idea of what made our hero and heroine the people they are. I knew it was a short novella format, but I felt the story raced past the self-imposed obstacles to their happiness to finish with a happy ending. I was distracted by grammatical err ...more

A wonderful addition to this Viking Romance series. Each book can be read as a stand alone. This IS a novella, only 80 pages.
Fast paced, with a lot packed into this tale of passion, romance, second chances and the power of love. Powerful and compelling. While, not as impressive to me as the others, it is still an awesome read. A Viking Romance that will have fans delighted. An enjoyable and satisfying read!

Marteinn and Mercia both seek purpose and love. Dominated by tradition and community, can these two outcasts find peace?

Another riveting story that combines Viking tradition and great story telling.
