Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is a methodology that comprises a set of principles and processes to use when managing a programme. MSP defines programme management as: the action of carrying out the coordinated organization, direction and implementation of a dossier of related projects and transformation activities to achieve outcomes and realize benefits of strategic importance to the business.

MSP is designed to support change within an organization or in the wider community. Therefore MSP would, or should, be of interest to any organization which is undertaking a transformational change.

MSP provides a framework to direct the change process. It enables more effective delivery of change with a smooth transition from current to future business operations while keeping focussed on the business change objectives.
