In the wake of Wilde’s death, Deli and Taurus thought they’d settle the family, enjoy the peace, and not shed any skin in the process.
Except Sari and her traitors immediately chose violence.
The Resistance immediately starts acting like a group chat gone wrong. Talks of forbidden rituals fly, sides get taken, and everyone suddenly has very loud opinions. It’s a perfect storm for traitors to sit back and wait for everything to burn.
But when the world tightens its coils and the fangs come out, survival means striking first, even at your former allies.
Time to for everyone to fang around and find out.

What the actual fudge!? I like the drama, but the Rift has become a cesspool of narcissism, pain, and control. These people are vapid and, frankly, a pain. It's incredibly frustrating that the cat hasn't given them the claws yet. Sari has upped the ante, and if she's questioning if she's gone too far, then I know it's bad. The revelation of just how trash these people are is mind-blowing. Even the core four (Delilah, Taurus, Rafe, and Talia) had a rough go, and I'm not totally convinced that things will go smoothly for them. One thing is for sure: I don't like Talia. I knew it at the end of the previous book, and it just cemented it more in this one.
I've enjoyed the story so far, but this is book four; I'm ready for the good stuff. I want to go on missions with Del, and what about her parentage? When is that going to come up? Not to mention that I keep forgetting this whole thing is an experiment until things like the memos come up. I'm really curious where everything is headed on that front. There was also an anonymous POV. Who the heck was that, and what do they want? Most of all, I am ready for Delilah to cut the baggage and find her real people and get her HEA.
Cass, noooooo! What kind of ending was that!? I'm sure the neighbors heard me screaming. That ending was beyond brutal. The killer part is I don't know what actually happened, and the bonus scene didn't clarify crap. In fact, it made things worse. I need to know what happened! I'm not going to lie, this book was savage. Hopefully, I'll get some answers sooner rather than later.
The journey Deli has gone through to get to this point has been full of heartache and conflict. Poor Deli has a way to go before that HEA will find her.
Snake it Off continues the story of the citizens of the Rift. As the pages unfold, so too does the deceit the more nefarious characters have concocted. Even those who aim to serve as guiding lights falter, casting doubts on their long term positions in our FMC’s life. Seeing communication issues between Deli and Taurus feels like an accurate reflection of real relationships, but it definitely tugs at the heartstrings to see their struggles alongside the other issues that arise.
Despite these heartbreaks and trials, Deli does find some solace through her new job (and gives the audience a sneak peek at just how powerful she is). We can only hope that fate accelerates timelines to help Deli meet the other FMCs from this universe to systemically uproot the evil plaguing all planes of existence (and to get some backup to kick T’s butt into gear). A meet up is definitely building, but for the sake of Deli’s safety and sanity, I sure hope that timeline accelerates.
The next book cannot come soon enough given that cliffhanger.
This book picks up where the last book left off. We find Rafe deep in contemplation of where everything is either coming together or falling apart. But, he then finds himself staring at a beach with two women lying on it and a storm surrounding them. The problem? It’s not just any women, they are his primary and his wife. What is going on? Will he figure out what happened? Will they be able to repair all of their relationships?
This was a good addition to the storyline. There was more character and world building. There are also twists and turns that happened that I didn’t see coming. This group is a perfect example of doing everything big. Love big and hurt big, which means big fights as well. I hope they can get past some of their issues. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Coming into this book was heart pounding and emotionally twisted as betrayal and hurt left from the previous book was absolutely devastating. Time to pick up the pieces but it won’t be easy and wow what an experience it was to read. I could not put this book down, even when parts of it made me want to throw it at the wall. Conflicted and confused at yet another cliffhanger, I am left wondering what happens next and can a happy ending even be possible. I can’t wait to find out in the next installment.
So much drama and conflict and I am all for it! I love Delilah, Rafe, and Taurus. Talia is growing on me, but she is very toxic. Taurus is probably my faborite, since he is all about the people he cares about in this core group, as well as little Maeve. All the other characters have drama galore, and I love reading it, and it makes the memos stand out more, before I keep forgetting it is an experiment. And the mystery POV? I cannot wait to see who it is! That cliffhanger?! I want the next book ASAP!
Just when you think that Deli, Rafe, Talila and Taurus are starting to get to a good place in their relationships, everything starts to go wrong. There is so much drama that happens.
I hope we get more answers about Deli, as she seems to just get more and more powerful as the story goes on.
The cliff hanger was incredibly mean, I need to know what Deli did, and what is going to happen next
