On the one hand: a fair amount of useful information, especially on the macro scale - Important Things To Think About.

On the other hand: outdated and faintly smarter-than-thou, not a winning quality in my book. (Yes, I went there.)

Finishing it - slowly - not because I want to, particularly, but because I need to.

In addition to Foonberg's book, this is the best companion for attorneys interested in understanding all their options for careers. Even if you decide not to pursue a solo career, this is a great way to understand the legal profession better.

Only halfway through but it is filled with practical advice for starting a law firm. I find it more up to date and realistic about today's costs and lifestlyes than Foonberg's book.

Useful. Methodical. Not too much beyond general business knowledge.
