I read book one for another blog, and when this landed, I was all squeeeeely and excited.

However, it doesn't pack quite the same punch as book one, and I cannot for the life of me figure out why!

Arabella wakes, with no memory, after an accident. Tobin tells her she is their mate, Gerrit and Blakely's. But not all is as it seems, and Arabella is not in the care of the Zmaj, but in that of the Inamanidi, a rival clan to the Zmaj an

Very interesting, and completely heartbreaking! The good guys become, what they think, are the bad guys. The bad guys become good guys. Emotions are tumbling all over the place, tripping up those who are feeling them. In the middle, lives are changed forever, and love blossoms, and love’s fragility may not survive. Two relationships seemingly doomed, but maybe, just maybe, have a chance. Can’t wait to see how this will play out in the big scene you can feel building!

I really enjoyed this series, with its different twist on shapeshifters and generally strong likeable characters. It is a little hard to keep the names straight when each dragon shifts into 3 or more human like aspects, each with a slightly different personality. Although they are on the short side, the story told is engrossing. As the second book in the trilogy, this one doesn't stand alone and would be pretty confusing if Dragon Kisses 1 isn't read first.
