One thing I appreciated with this story is that it allowed life to be messy, to have two men whose instant attraction is complicated by the fact that one is already in a relationship. It allowed the guys to be imperfect, to not always disclose what they should tell each other, to be tempted to do the wrong thing. This is a long slow burn, as Levi and Jake fall in love, even though Jake is with another man and they are not free to do more than "be friends".
I was not so crazy about the message coming from every single secondary character, that love mattered more than honesty and integrity.
The love was a bit instant, and it felt a little like the ending was written to a particular plot point. I liked watching the guys get there, but didn't quite buy it all. Major Spoiler:
At the same time, I loved Levi's character, the secondary characters were fun and flamboyant, there were some hilarious lines and moments mixed in with the emotions, and the read was smooth and fast. There is an ebb and flow to relationships, and I liked seeing a bit of a different dynamic here. I liked that Jake's boyfriend, Victor, while not heroic, was also not vilified to an unreasonable degree. So often the antagonist in a book relationship is turned into evil incarnate, to justify a change of heart. Whereas in real life, growing apart is far, far more common. It was interesting to watch all the relationship progressions in this book, and I felt for both men, in the difficulty of their positions.

I have to admit, this book surprised me.
The first half of the book was slow going and I thought it would never end.
The second half of the book broke my heart and I never wanted it to end.
Levi is an event planner on the cusp of a major breakthrough in his career. His moderate success is about to take off, securing himself as THE event planner for Wilde City. Despite this, Levi's life is lonely and his care of his ailing, quirky mother is constantly on his mind. He has few friends and fewer lovers. There is so much to love about Levi and I think that's why it's so hard reading him struggle with his personal life.
The beginnings of the book set up Levi's business and his meet-cute with Jake, the paramedic. As I mentioned, there was a lot to get through, details that felt tedious and very little movement in the relationship. I wasn't hopeful that this book would work for me.
But then it really started to pick up. The attraction between Levi and Jake was palpable...in the soulmates kind of way. I loved that. Which in turn broke my heart to find Jake in a solid, longterm relationship. Reading Levi & Jake's attempt at friendship while trying to squash their feelings for one another was HARD. It hurt every time Levi had to walk away in emotional pain from Jake. There were a lot of tears for me.
Now, this being Ethan Day, the book is fun and zany and made me laugh as well. But, it was a heavier side to Day's writing that I hadn't encountered before. I was swimming in emotions that I wasn't prepared to feel.
Now this being Ethan Day, you can also pretty much guess that all will be well in the end. But it wasn't an easy road getting there. And I kinda liked having to go through the ups and downs with these characters to see them get to their HEA.
I really, really enjoyed this one and can still feel the lingering tugs of my heartstrings days after finishing.

I’ve never known Ethan Day to serve up a predictable romance, and Love Me Tomorrow is no different. In this unique and clever plot, Day explores the different facets of love, how relationships grow and change, and how it affects everyone involved. This is some messy stuff, but there’s enough humor to keep the story rolling along, and while it might have been less painful if Ethan Day had just ripped my heart out directly, this is one enjoyable story!
There’s no doubt that a good portion of the credit goes to the narrator, Jason Frazier, who pulls out all the stops and delivers a stunning performance. Frazier’s skillful comedic timing enhances Ethan Day’s humorous banter, and he makes the most of this offbeatand colorful array of characters.
What really made the whole experience special for me, is Jason Frazier’s portrayal of Levi, the main character. His warm and sensual voice lends itself beautifully to this heart-sore man. As Levi explores his feelings, and confronts the drama along the way, it is very intimate and I felt each emotion right along with him.
My first taste of Ethan Day’s writing was reading Sno-Ho/Life in Fusion. Between the creative characters, the hilarious banter, and the smokin’ hot sex, I was completely smitten. I never dreamed that this clever, witty author could also deliver something as heart-wrenching and meaningful as Love Me Tomorrow.
So, this is a quirky little love triangle. The moment Levi sees Jake he’s immediately struck by the feeling that he is “The One”. Levi is devastated to learn Jake is currently in a committed relationship with Victor. To add insult to injury, Jake clearly desires Levi and sends off all kinds of signals, tormenting poor Levi in a most cruel and unfair way. Though Levi would prefer to cut all ties, these two are forced together by circumstance, and the attraction between Levi and Jake just continues to grow.
I enjoyed the anticipation of wondering how Jake and Victor were going to break up. Would it turn out Victor is a cheating jerk? Would Victor discover he is being cuckolded and toss Jake out on his ass? (That one got my vote.) I figured something big had to happen so Levi could get his happily ever after, it was never a question of if, just a question of when and how. The sooner the better for me so these two could commence with the lovemaking!
Ethan Day has a way of distilling relationships to the most intimate and personal level. Who can’t identify with at least one of the following scenarios: An ill and aging parent or the totally devoted child. The rotten, cheating-ass ex lover who finds total happiness, once they move on from YOU. Meeting the perfect partner, only to find out they (or you) are unavailable. Stuck in a relationship, realizing you just don’t want the same things anymore, and (yikes!) watching your partner be attracted to someone else… yeah, that happens.
Ethan Day includes some lovely and poignant reflections in Love Me Tomorrow. My favorite, as Levi ponders his discovery that Jake is in a relationship, he comes up with this theory (and I’m going to paraphrase). If there is one perfect person out there for each of us, what happens if you don’t meet at the right time? If either of you aren’t available, if you didn’t wait for each other, then you’re both screwed. It’s scary how true, and depressing, that notion is.
I can’t remember when I’ve become so quickly invested in a character as I was with Levi Goode. Ethan Day explores every bit of him, hiding nothing and leaving him completely exposed. This is Levi’s story and it is intense and beautiful. There’s the perfect ending to this story, but I’m not going to spoil it for you, I’ll just say I cried twice and leave it at that.

A new Ethan Day - no question, I had to read it, at once. So, now after finishing, what to say? The first 30% or so were rather tedious, with lots of stuff regarding the city, Wilde City like the publisher, don't know why that was chosen, anyway the set-up was rather over the top for me and I really hoped it wouldn't go on like that for much longer. Thankfully, then we got to know about Jake's POV and suddenly the whole thing got much more lively, toned down in the OTT department:) and it became much more fun reading along.
That said, thinking back now about what I read, I have to say - not really much happened. Levi did his job as event planner, dealt with a client, Julia and her family were the only ones we got to know. Yes, he dealt with his annoying mother and his even more annoying friend/colleague Valerie and of course he all the time run into Jake. He fell hopelessly in love with him, but why initially was anyones guess.
I liked the development that both MC's acknowledged their love, but because of Jake's boyfriend they decided - right guy, wrong time. The way the 'wrong time' was dealt with, let's say I liked that it wasn't the easy way out, on the other hand it was rather underwhelming.
Overall it was a nice story, had it's ups and downs, some of the characters I liked more, some less and to be honest - I also loved other couples in Ethan Day's books more.

Ok if you recognize the song that these words are from...stop it your age is showing...lol!!! I'm so glad I'm not alone on that by the way.
I loved this one from start to finish this story worked for me. I loved the humor. I loved that Jake was a fan of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons...*waves hand* me too. Sorry I've been known to geek out over the silliest things and this just made me smile.
I loved most of the secondary characters Levi's mom was awesome, as were Antonio (I think that was his name) he was one of Levi's employee's who had a thing for Levi and while he was a bit of a serial flirter he didn't cross lines...much, Jake's sister, Julia, his parents were idiots mind you. but that's ok they were suppose to be, Jake's friends sorry I can't remember their names and there were a few others that graced the pages of this story and I enjoyed them but Levi's friend/business associate Valerie was one piece of work that I just couldn't get my mind around...seriously if she'd been my friend I would have dropped her like a hot potato. The woman was missing filters...you know like the one that says 'shut your mouth because you've gone from funny to just plain rude and borderline vulgar' 'class she had none', sorry but she really grated on my nerves.
Levi and Jake first meet by accident when paramedics are summoned to his mother's place to care for her. The attraction is definitely instant but the relationship is definitely more complicated and takes some time and more than a few rough patches to get going. Levi's busy building his career as an event planner and trying to take care of his mother. Jake's a paramedic but more importantly he's in a relationship and he doesn't cheat...but he's drawn to Levi and he can't deny it.
Jake finally settles on the idea that he and Levi can be friends because that's a far more palatable idea than not having Levi in his life at all. They try seriously hard. Neither of these men are into the idea of cheating. Jake wants to be there for Levi to make his life easier and tries to help Levi out whenever he can but the more time these two men spend together the stronger their feelings get and the harder they get to deny. I was really torn with this because I wanted Levi and Jake to be together. i liked them together and surprisingly I didn't dislike Jake's boyfriend...I wasn't over the moon about him but he really wasn't a bad person either...just not the right person for Jake.
I really enjoyed the banter between Jake and Levi and between Levi's mom and pretty well anyone else as well Jake's sister was also an interesting character.
Jason Frazier was the narrator for this audio book and while he's not new to me...more like nearly new to me. I've listened to one other book by this narrator and coincidentally it was also an Ethan Day novel and I enjoyed that first listening experience but I have to say for me this one was just that little bit better...whether it was actually the narrator's skill improved or that I liked the story a bit more than the other story...I neither know nor care but I do know that I enjoyed this one enough to want to listen to it again one day.
One good story and one good narrator made for several hours of pure listening pleasure. This one was truly delightful.

I really enjoy Day's writing style. I literally fly through his books. This one has the classic Ethan Day humor, but not so much as you'll remember from Sno Ho.
I really felt like I was living through Levi and Jake. This was written really well. Levi is an in-demand event planner, and Jake is the paramedic he meets taking care of his mother.
Sparks fly, flirtations ensue, and Levi just knows that something special is going on! Then he learns that Jake has a boyfriend - of 9 years!!!
Jake acknowledges that there is a definite connection, and he wants Levi in his life - as a friend! gasp!
Levi concedes that it will be very hard, but he'd rather have Jake as a new best friend than never see him again.
And the chaos begins.........
Let me say this about these two. I FELT their struggle to do the right thing and remain friends. And I FELT their feelings for each other. I literally teared up - and I don't cry! This was honestly a great story. For those of you who have this particular issue like me .
My first complaint was the fade to black smexy times. There was so much passion and chemistry between these two that I was fanning myself from their first kiss. So it was a completely natural progression for them to launch into the next stage! And I feel ripped off and deprived as a reader that I didn't get to see and FEEL that translate over to the bedroom as completely as I wanted.
My other complaint was the snarky female best friend. I can't even remember her name at this point (Valerie maybe?). Anyway, she was not funny, she was rude, and crass, and completely OTT. Could not stand the bitch. Phew - I'm done
Other than those two things, great story that I highly recommend! LOL moments and a truly heartwarming story of two really good men who happened to initially meet at the wrong time.

This is my first time experiencing an Ethan Day book and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was! It was light and sweet and really funny with just a small amount of angst. Exactly what a real romance story is all about. You get a storyline built up with the good, bad, and ugly parts of the characters’ lives and actual character relationship development, some humor, and where the book isn’t just filled with pages of sex. This book also kind of reminded me of a spin-off m/m version of the movie “The Wedding Planner”. I really enjoyed every part of this one and I am literally still giggling hours after I finished this audiobook.
For me, the first hour or so of the book was a little slow getting into, just listening to the details and setup leading into the story. But once the two characters, Levi and Jake met, it was all uphill from there. Levi had the best personality and I absolutely loved him. He was just so likable and at the same time, totally in your face snarky sarcastic, that I could not help but laugh through this entire book. Levi is an up and coming party planner and is planning the event of his life, while simultaneously trying to take care of his sick mom. There are several secondary characters I found to be a hilarious addition to the book as well (Levi’s mom, and friends/employees, and Jakes sister) and I really liked all of their interactions.
Now, Jake... I wasn’t a very big fan of Jake. He really irritated me at times. He wanted so bad to be “friends” with Levi, and I really do get it, when you feel a pull to someone you just want to be around them and in their circle of light all the time. But he still did everything he did, knowing how badly his actions could hurt everyone involved in the end. And while there was no actual physical cheating going on, there was some definite emotional involvement that should not have been happening on Jake's end while he was physically dating someone else… Total jerk-face move on his part that I really didn’t appreciate, but made the book feel more real. I am glad we got every part of these characters good and bad and what they had to deal with and go through in order to finally get the HEA that was well deserved.
Audio Narration – In my opinion, the author picked the best narrator (Jason Frazier) for this book. He did such a great job making sure we got the full effect of Levi’s fun personality off the page and into our ears. I also loved his voice and how laid back he sounded for Jake, you have no problem differentiating the two characters as well as all of the supporting characters, even the female ones. This was a great audiobook overall and I plan on listening to this one anytime I need an extra smile or laugh.
This is my first time experiencing an Ethan Day book and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was! It was light and sweet and really funny with just a small amount of angst. Exactly what a real romance story is all about. You get a storyline built up with the good, bad, and ugly parts of the characters’ lives and actual character relationship development, some humor, and where the book isn’t just filled with pages of sex. This book also kind of reminded me of a spin-off m/m version of the movie “The Wedding Planner”. I really enjoyed every part of this one and I am literally still giggling hours after I finished this audiobook.
For me, the first hour or so of the book was a little slow getting into, just listening to the details and setup leading into the story. But once the two characters, Levi and Jake met, it was all uphill from there. Levi had the best personality and I absolutely loved him. He was just so likable and at the same time, totally in your face snarky sarcastic, that I could not help but laugh through this entire book. Levi is an up and coming party planner and is planning the event of his life, while simultaneously trying to take care of his sick mom. There are several secondary characters I found to be a hilarious addition to the book as well (Levi’s mom, and friends/employees, and Jakes sister) and I really liked all of their interactions.
Now, Jake... I wasn’t a very big fan of Jake. He really irritated me at times. He wanted so bad to be “friends” with Levi, and I really do get it, when you feel a pull to someone you just want to be around them and in their circle of light all the time. But he still did everything he did, knowing how badly his actions could hurt everyone involved in the end. And while there was no actual physical cheating going on, there was some definite emotional involvement that should not have been happening on Jake's end while he was physically dating someone else… Total jerk-face move on his part that I really didn’t appreciate, but made the book feel more real. I am glad we got every part of these characters good and bad and what they had to deal with and go through in order to finally get the HEA that was well deserved.
Audio Narration – In my opinion, the author picked the best narrator (Jason Frazier) for this book. He did such a great job making sure we got the full effect of Levi’s fun personality off the page and into our ears. I also loved his voice and how laid back he sounded for Jake, you have no problem differentiating the two characters as well as all of the supporting characters, even the female ones. This was a great audiobook overall and I plan on listening to this one anytime I need an extra smile or laugh.

I like Ethan Day's style, so I enjoyed the story from that perspective. Great writing, interesting characters. I didn't so much enjoy that one MC was in a long term relationship for the majority of the story with another character not the other MC. Another review mentions emotional cheating and it felt very much like that for me. Either work on fixing the relationship you're in or move on from it, don't hedge your bets because that doesn't put you in a good light from any angle.
I loved Levi but Jake...Jake you're a piece of work, friend.

Settling into an Ethan Day book is always such a treat for me. There’s always a great romance, tons of humor and totally lovable characters. I am such a fan of his writing I do have some pretty high expectations. After finishing Love Me Tomorrow I can definitely say that it lives up to them. I adored the couple Jake and Levi. This was such a fun and sexy book. I had a hard time starting anything after this. For me this is the perfect type of read.
I must have blocked out the part of the blurb that says Jake had a boyfriend because it basically slapped me across the face when I read that scene. And it hurt! The way they meet was definitely cute and embarrassingly hilarious for poor Levi. I had my hopes all built up for a budding relationship right along with Levi. Their banter was so damn good and their connection freaking sizzled on page. They had fun together. I was dying for that goodnight kiss and the anticipation mounts. Then WHOP! It all gets shot down and that light and fuzzy feeling turns into anger and embarrassment for Levi. Thing is, I should have written Jake off right here but I just couldn’t. I couldn’t help but like the guy. I was torn because I wanted them together so badly but I also have a thing against home wrecking whores. In any other book I’d be cussing a character who considered leaving their man of 7 plus years for a guy they just met. So the guys are left with the struggle of being very attracted to each other while also not being able to give into it. Levi has to remain civil because he’s going to be in contact with Jake often while working on his sister’s party. Jake really likes Levi and wants to be friends but these two are so much more than friends.
There are some seriously awesome secondary characters in this book. First is Ruby. The woman has no filter or shame. She’s an ex Vegas show girl and a very free soul. The things that came out of her mouth had me cracking up and Levi turning red. I loved her! Valerie was pretty crass. She flat out shocked me with the things that she said and that’s not easy to do. I imagine it’s quite a struggle to have someone that competent as your assistant that you also are terrified of what will fly out of her mouth at any given moment. She certainly keeps Levi on his toes. Julia and her husband were a really sweet couple and the planning of their party keeps Jake and Levi continually bumping into one another even though that’s the last thing Levi wants. Angelo was also an entertaining addition to the cast. He was a nice ego boost for Levi and because I love to read about Levi being embarrassed apparently. I’d like to read a story about him finding love.
This book IMO was super sexy. I’m all about the anticipation and connection between the couple. Levi and Jake were smoldering. The tension was so deliciously good. The reasoning behind the forbidden love angle was actually quite refreshing and well done. I am not a fan of a love triangle and this wasn’t really one because there’s no cheating but it’s kind of told form the “other guy’s” perspective. The story is told from Levi’s POV and he’s such a good guy. He doesn’t want to break up a couple or be with a guy who would dump his man for a new guy but he does want Jake. Badly. His internal dialogue had me yearning for Jake and smiling throughout the book. Though you don’t get Jake’s perspective, you do sense his struggle with being loyal and true to his boyfriend and finding this man who he wants to be with so badly it almost consumes him. That’s a pretty powerful thing to ignore. You feel their want and how hard it is to resist and not give into it. It’s so good. Just don’t expect a ton of on page sex but honestly I didn’t miss it one bit. But I seem to like to be teased.
If you’re an Ethan Day fan you’ll probably be picking this one up. IF you have a particular fondness for his book As You Are, I think you will absolutely enjoy this one. DNF at 55%. I've really loved a number of Ethan Day's other books, but this one just wasn't working for me. I should point out that this is mainly because of the issue below that likely might not bother other readers.
A number of reviews highlighted that there was no cheating involved and it's true there wasn't any actual physical cheating (to where I read to, at least). But, if I knew that my husband was flirting with, and pushing to become close friends with, someone else THAT THEY WERE VERY ATTRACTED TO, then it would feel pretty much like cheating to me. Ultimately, I couldn't get past this issue to enjoy their burgeoning relationship.

I laughed and I cried, and I fell in love with Levi Goode in this highly enjoyable and utterly heartbreaking story from the very talented Ethan Day.
Levi is an event planner in Wilde City who has just scored the biggest event of his career, and the best part is that this fundraiser will be launching him into the spotlight so that he can garner even more business. It doesn’t hurt that his chief competitor has been ill and knocked off her lofty self-important pedestal, and it’s even better when one of the socialites involved in this cancer fundraiser tells him that she’s going to connect him with Julia Freeman-Kingsley whose annual anniversary party is the biggest event in Wilde City each year.
Julia turns out to be a wonderful and vivacious woman and Levi and she hit it off right from the start. Levi works with her to convince her parents, Senator and Mrs. Freeman, that Julia’s first choice of venue is the one that will be best for everyone. Levi’s success and support from Julia couldn’t come at a better time since he’s paying for round-the-clock nursing care for his mother Ruby, a former Vegas showgirl who isn’t one to be tied down for long and needs to be handled with kid gloves. When Ruby falls in her home, and Levi arrives on the scene, he’s greeted by paramedics, one of whom is positively stunning.
A few days later, Levi finds himself asking Jake, the paramedic, if he’d like to attend a local theater showing of Marilyn Monroe’s “Some Like It Hot”. After the movie, Levi is totally smitten with Jake and it appears the feeling is mutual, but there’s no opportunity for a kiss goodnight, and Levi accepts that for now. When he accidentally bumps into Jake at Julia Freeman-Kingsley’s apartment a week later, he’s shocked to find out that Jake is Julia’s twin brother, but he’s more shocked to be introduced to Jake’s “husband”, Victor.
Though it turns out that Victor and Jake are not married, needless to say, Levi is horrified that he started to have feelings for Jake and is really angry with Jake for not telling him about Victor. In his very blunt way, Levi lets Jake have it and tells him that there will be no further contact between them. This holds true until one night when the men find themselves getting drunk at a local bar. Jake had been helping Levi gather photos of Julia and her husband that day for a secret anniversary gift and stopped at the bar for a drink. When they run into Levi’s former boyfriend Dan celebrating his engagement to his new boyfriend—the one Dan left Levi for—there’s no stopping Levi from getting bombed. Jake escorts a drunken Levi home, and though there’s no kissing or sex involved, a loose-lipped Jake tells Levi how wonderful and kissable he is and how much he cares about him. Even drunk, Levi can’t believe how inappropriate Jake is being, and he bans him from his life, asking for no contact at all. He manages to hold in his tears until Jake is gone and then cries his heart out knowing that he’s finally met the one man in the world who he knows is just for him, but he simply can’t have him. Levi’s moral code would never allow him to be the cause of Jake cheating on Victor.
I really enjoyed this story. Ethan Day did such a wonderful job building Levi’s character. He’s bright and witty, funny, sarcastic, loving and emotional and a terrific son to his mother. Jake’s character is tragic in that he has always been different from his wealthy family and he saw Victor as his savior when they first met. But he and Victor have been growing apart for years and he feels unable to fulfill Victor’s needs in the same way that he couldn’t fulfill his father’s dreams for him. The secondary characters are varied and outrageous. From the amazingly campy and fun-loving Ruby, to Levi’s new sexy assistant Angelo who makes no secret that he wants to get in Levi’s pants, to the abrasive and often rude, Valerie, Levi’s assistant, best friend, and chief nag.
The one thing I didn’t like in the story was the acceleration in Valerie’s obnoxious behavior in the Epilogue. If she hadn’t appeared in the Epilogue, or if her language had been toned down, I would have liked the story better. In fact, I liked the story much better up to the point where the Epilogue began. That fell flat for me. It didn’t have the same feel as the rest of the story, and I was left disappointed.
However, overall, it was a very enjoyable read and I would highly recommend it to lovers of M/M romance, especially those who want angst and unrequited love, slow burn and a long difficult path to their HEA for the MCs. This story is also a fine example of Ethan Day’s humorous writing style and it left me smiling and chuckling about Ruby long after I finished the book. Don’t miss out on this one!

So what do you do when your mother tells you you were the result of a night of orgy? Be thankful you missed on the possibility of having an asshole for a father. At least that's what Levi, our main character did, smart man I say!
This book had the humor I've come to expect from Ethan Day, but there was so much emotional angst to go with it. The humor and the angst balanced each other perfectly in my opinion, because this was a very complex book.
Levi struggles with his attraction and feelings he has towards Jake, the paramedic he met when his ill mother needed urgent care. Jake is in a long term relationship with Victor, and while their relationship has been on the rocks for a while, Jake still loves Victor and never cheated on him, despite the chemistry and soul-deep attraction he felt towards Levi. I understood Jake's feelings and frustrations even though they prevented the relationship with Levi from happening. He loved both men in an entirely different way: Levi was the person who he could never imagine his life without, Levi simply had to be part of Jake's world in any capacity. But at the same time, Jake wanted to stay committed to Victor because he didn't want to break his heart, and he never looked for another relationship or another man to fall in love with, it just happened.
I liked that the author didn't make Victor into a terrible person in order to make it easier for Jake to kick him to the curb. Victor was a good person who truly loved Jake, but sometimes no matter how much we try to make a relationship work, it's not meant to be. This was the case with Jake and Victor, and I truly understood that they weren't going to make it as a couple much longer regardless of Levi's presence, because Jake and Victor became two people who wanted different things.
Levi and Jake as a couple, I loved! Their relationship and struggles at the beginning were genuine and most of all expected. The only complaint I have is that the sex they have is not graphic, and after more than half a book spent reading and "feeling" their crazy chemistry, I wanted to see it explode. I was looking forward to that intensity I saw coming because I knew it was going to be epic. Unfortunately, we only get the knowledge that they have dirty, wild, kinky sex, we don't actually read it as it happens. I'm majorly bummed.
This was a great book about finding your true love, the one person that's meant for you, and fighting to be with that person. Their journey wasn't easy, they definitely had to work for it, but the HEA was amazing. I also loved the secondary characters, especially Angelo and Valerie. I had quite a few good laughs and enjoyed their naughty team a lot. And Levi drunk was the most adorable scene in this book. He was hilarious!

Emotional cheating is still cheating. Having said that, I was okay with the cheating in this story, because I could see how hard both Jake and Levi fight against the attraction and the desire they have for each other.
The story starts out with Levi, a highly sought-after event planner, pulling off a charity event nearly flawlessly. There is a lot of info about the event itself, the business, Levi's friend/employee Valerie (who's the quintessential fag hag, OMG), which was a little on the dry side.
Levi is single and without any prospects. He spends his time between running his business, meeting with clients, and looking after his mother who has some severe health issues. These health issues are the reason Levi meets Jake, a paramedic, at his mother's house when she takes a fall.
The attraction between the two is immediate, and they meet for a movie shortly after. Nothing much happens, though Levi and Jake both appear to want something to happen.
A few days later, Levi is meeting with Julia Freeman, his next client. Jake turns out to be Julia's brother. And, it also turns out, Jake hasn't been quite open and honest with Levi about Jake's long-time boyfriend.
For Levi, things come to a screeching halt on the love interest front, because he refuses to go after a guy in a committed relationship.
The book is written with Ethan Day's usual humorous banter style, with lots of one-liners that made me giggle, but also smartly addresses the serious theme of cheating, in body and thought.
I liked that we got to see both men struggle with the emotions they're experiencing, with the guilt they're feeling, and how they fight the mutual attraction, but can't help falling in love anyway.
Most of the book is taken up with various situations in which Levi and Jake are in the same room for one reason or another, and start to learn more about each other, which only aids their emotional connection.
There were some supersweet moments, as well as some that made me angry with Jake and for Levi, who tried so hard to be a good person. I felt on occasion that Jake was trying to have his cake and eat it to, not willing to give up the sure thing he had in Victor for the unknown with Levi, but unable to stop from pursuing the man anyway.
I liked the supporting characters, though Valerie was OTT on occasion, but I adored the part Angelo got to play. I'd like to see a book about him at some point - seeing him fall hard for someone and give up his playboy ways would be a blast, I think.
Julia had a great scene toward the end, with some really good insight that she imparts not only on Victor but Jake as well.
Overall, this was a rather nice novel, and I enjoyed reading it very much. I think you will too.

The story starts out with Levi, a highly sought-after event planner, pulling off a charity event nearly flawlessly. There is a lot of info about the event itself, the business, Levi's friend/employee Valerie (who's the quintessential fag hag, OMG), which was a little on the dry side.
Levi is single and without any prospects. He spends his time between running his business, meeting with clients, and looking after his mother who has some severe health issues. These health issues are the reason Levi meets Jake, a paramedic, at his mother's house when she takes a fall.
The attraction between the two is immediate, and they meet for a movie shortly after. Nothing much happens, though Levi and Jake both appear to want something to happen.
A few days later, Levi is meeting with Julia Freeman, his next client. Jake turns out to be Julia's brother. And, it also turns out, Jake hasn't been quite open and honest with Levi about Jake's long-time boyfriend.
For Levi, things come to a screeching halt on the love interest front, because he refuses to go after a guy in a committed relationship.

This one felt much longer than the stated page count. It was a slowburning angsty read. I have respect for this story; even though it seemed inevitable, there was no cheating. The MCs definitely had an instant connection without it tipping over into instalove. I found myself laughing at the banter and snark between MCs and and also between the secondary characters. Speaking of secondaries, there are several here and I enjoyed them all.
At times the details about architecture and setting felt very tedious. I admit I started skimming those parts after a while. Also it wasn't particularly steamy. Most scenes were fade to black or just referenced after the fact. The HEA was solid. The characters really had to work for it but the end result wasn't missing details.

So.. I really love how the book starts out. A handsome paramedic flirting with the main character, Levi. Levi is kind hearted, just now becoming a big name in event planning, and oh so lost in the rest of his life. Jake, the gay paramedic who flirts like crazy. Levi’s mother (whom I absolutely adore), pushes them to go out on a date to the movies. At the end of the night, Levi has hearts in his eyes and a warm feeling in his chest.
A few days/weeks later Levi hasn’t heard from Jake. While starting an event planning day with rich socialite, Julia (I adore her also), Levi meets Jake again, along with his long time boyfriend Victor. Aaaand good feeling is gone.

I read through the reviews and people say it’s lighthearted and low angst. Well let me tell you, if you have ever loved someone who strings you along like Jake does to Levi, this is a high angst book and not lighthearted. My heart hurts all the time for Levi. Jake insists to be good friends with him. Which is fine, I don’t knock that. But Jake is very touchy-feely, he says inappropriate things to Levi all the time, making Levi pine for him even more. Jake is confused because of his boyfriend and their relationship and his feeling for Levi. In this way it’s a pretty realistic look at some friendships/relationships where falling in love with another person is involved.
The part that made me the maddest was when Jake doesn’t approve of Levi drinking so much when Levi’s ex made a fool of him in front of pretty much anyone who mattered socially. How his ex acted when he was around Levi was horrible. He should be able to drink whatever he wants right then. Shoot, I would have been drinking too, lol. But all in all it’s a good, can’t-put-down book that made me mad all the time 🙂 And of course it has a HEA, so no worries there!
Jason Frazier has got to be one of my favorite narrators ever!! I always get his books. Probably one of the main reasons why I got so mad at Jake or sad for Levi all the time was because of how well he could narrate both of them. I love his ladies’ voices too. The way he did both boy’s voices, it’s like he got what both of them were going through, and it came out in his narration of them.
Honestly though, if I knew how much this book would effect me, I probably wouldn’t have listened to it, even knowing it was Jason who narrated it. I like books that make me feel good, and most of the time the book did not. The reason I gave it a 3.5 is because the narration made it for me. If I was just rating the book it would be less than that unfortunately. Of course, others may love this book. Like I said before it was well written and very well narrated. But that is where it stops for me!

Had I know a little bit more about this book, I would never have purchased it!! Does the author enjoy this kind of bullshit mumbo-jumbo that goes on and on and ON, just for the sake of it contributing some kind of relationship drama?!!? Listen, anyone not seeing what's happening here as CHEATING truly boggles my mind!! I JUST started the book, got that sinking suspicion that what I felt was going to happen was indeed going to happen, so I skimmed pretty thoroughly throughout the book, and YUP, IT FUCKING HAPPENED!!! So let me tell you, while the two MCs do not engage in a physical relationship with one another while Jake IS in some kind of weird-ass relationship with his boyfriend/partner/common-law/what-the-fuck-ever [from whom I do not understand WHY Jake doesn't break up with, unless the author figured it'd be wise not to, you know, for the drama], Levi and Jake are definitely falling for one another!! So let me be clear, NO, they do NOT have a physical relationship, so they are not physically ["technically"] cheating, BUT, I have to ask, WHAT THE FUCK CONSTITUTES AS CHEATING TO YOU?!!? The men are FALLING FOR ONE ANOTHER and Jake, KNOWING he feels the way he feels about Levi, not only insists on having two cakes - so he can eat one and keep one whole, insists on trying to "at least" being friends with Levi; a man he WANTS!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY 100% CHEATING OF THE WORST ORDER - PERHAPS NOT SEXUAL CHEATING, BUT DEFINITELY MENTAL & EMOTIONAL!!! So not only is he emotionally/mentally cheating, he essentially strings Levi along [because he can't fucking end a relationship he doesn't want to be a part of anymore], and because Levi truly wants to be with Jake, essentially emotionally manipulates Levi into being an accomplice to this bullshit [NOT in a malicious way AT ALL mind you, but in the way that Jake makes Levi see he's the absolute PERFECT guy for him; that they're meant to be; that they're soul-mates]!!!!!
So yeah, this IS A FORM OF CHEATING!! ABSOLUTELY!! 100%!!! NO FUCKING DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!
I am stunned that some people don't see it that way and frankly, THIS is just as destructive as if they had begun an affair in the "traditional" sense!! CHEATING IS FUCKING CHEATING - and you know how I feel about cheating; if it's physical/sexual/emotional/mental/romantic/etc.; if there is even SLIVER of a chance it might be construed as cheating, then I'll see it as cheating!! I am incredibly UNFORGIVING when it comes to drawing a crystal clear verdict; I don't need to look too far and I definitely do not need to "construe"; I am NOT being too strict here!! This is ABSOLUTELY a form of CHEATING!!
I felt bad for these men, though I wanted to kick Jake in the balls - I DID feel bad for him, and I felt bad for ME because I bought this book without knowing all the details!! To see others saying this is not cheating makes me deduce they are WAAAAAAAY too lenient in their views on what's cheating and what's not [that's certainly fine, it's their choice and to each their own], but it's definitely crystal clear here!!!
Once again, this is a man [Jake] who's IN a relationship with someone else [Victor], is HIGHLY attracted to and is falling in love with a man [Levi] who is NOT his boyfriend, and pushes to be close to that person in whatever way Jake can be!! While nothing physical happens, it almost does, and in spite of that, Jake STILL insists on stringing Levi [who wants NO part of any kind of cheating but becomes kind of an accomplice because he doesn't say "enough is enough"] along and being around him!! So yeah, while they didn't add the physical aspect to their cheating [YET!!], for Jake to insist on being around someone he is INTENSELY attracted to while he's involved with another man, allowing him to provide all kinds of mental or emotional satisfaction to you that your boyfriend won't or cannot, IS FUCKING CHEATING!!!! Come on, guys, you MUST see that!! Either way, I DEFINITELY DO!! #MASSIVEBOOKFAIL!!! Also, also, for an author to romanticize and think this is romantic, leads me to a #MASSIVEAUTHORFAIL as well!! I don't trust Jake and I think this book romanticizes what's happening here in an alarming way, because what's happening here IS CHEATING!!! Don't let the glitz and the glamour and the tenderness and the coyness fool you into thinking it's not, because IT FUCKING IS!!! The way this author weaves his tale manipulates the reader into thinking one thing when it's entirely another, and I refuse to be manipulated into swaying in my beliefs!! I'm not going to say this wasn't cheating because it was a cute little story!! No sir, not sorry, this was fucking cheating!!!

Levi is an event planner who loves bringing happiness and joy to others, in his small way, and is great at what he does; unfortunately, the same can’t be said for his personal life. Not into casual sex, Levi wonders if he’ll ever find a lasting love when he is blindsided by his insane response to Jake, the paramedic who responded when Levi’s mother had a fall. After a movie date, Levi is convinced that Jake is the one he’s been waiting for, but is hurt and distressed when he finds out Jake is practically married. Although Levi initially turns down Jake’s overture of friendship, the two end up spending time together as Levi plans Jake’s sister’s anniversary party. As the two become close, their bond, camaraderie and acceptance of one another highlights what Levi has always wanted in a partner and what Jake hadn’t realized he was missing in his relationship.
Love Me Tomorrow is an interesting story about the complexity of love and human nature, and makes the reader ask, “What would you do if you felt an instant connection to ‘the one’, but discover they’re taken? What do you consider cheating? Is emotional cheating as bad as physical cheating? Is it cheating to fall in love with someone when you’ve convinced yourself you just want to be friends?” The answers to those questions and how you feel about emotionally complicated and messy romance stories will affect your enjoyment of this story.
What I liked most about this story is how messy the relationships are, and not just that Jake has a partner but for all the characters. For example, Levi’s mother lived a very free-styling life and encourages her son to basically be a homewrecker, because true love trumps all. Not your typical romance fair, neither is the fact that Levi is physically attracted to other people. The MCs aren’t put into a bubble in which they only have eyes and physical responses to one another. Moreover, Jake’s partner, Victor, isn’t made out to be some ogre who doesn’t appreciate how wonderful Jake is, nor is Jake an overly loyal martyr who stands by his jerk boyfriend no matter what. Victor and Jake just grew apart and want other things. They met when they were younger, different people and no longer fit, even though they still care about each other; it’s not overly dramatic, but it’s real and honest.
For better or worse, Jake is also very real in his handling of the situation. He goes on a date with Levi, knowing Levi is into him, and although he apologizes, he still presses to be Levi’s friend. Jake may not know the white picket fences and HEAs Levi was spinning in his mind from the moment they met, but he knows Levi is attracted to him and that he is attracted to Levi. Jake’s a good guy but is very human in his selfish desire to want Levi in his life without having to make any tough choices. Although the story sounds like it would be all high angst and drama, it is balanced out by the different personalities and relationships the MCs have with the secondary characters; there is plenty of snark, banter and an overly vulgar BF all portrayed wonderfully by Jason Frazier.
A large part of my enjoyment for the story came from Frazier’s voice work. Jake could have easily come across as “the nice guy in sheep’s clothing”—where the author wants to portray him as a good guy, but his behavior at times contradicts the accolades he gets from the characters. However, Frazier brings Jake’s indecision, denial and confusion to life, making his actions much more understandable. Additionally, there is a decent cast of male and female characters, and Frazier does an excellent job making them all distinct and unique. His pacing is very good and keeps some of the longer segments of historical/building expositional detail from feeling too boring, helps the more uneven parts of the story flow better, and makes the inevitable conclusion to the long, slow burn of their unintentional courtship seem less predictable and cheesy. I enjoyed Love Me Tomorrow for combining the fairy tale fantasy romance of recognizing “the one” at first sight with the reality of how complicated emotions and relationship can be. And though this is my first book narrated by Jason Frazier, it definitely won’t be my last.

Moreover, Jake’s partner, Victor, isn’t made out to be some ogre who doesn’t appreciate how wonderful Jake is, nor is Jake an overly loyal martyr who stands by his jerk boyfriend no matter what. Victor and Jake just grew apart and want other things. They met when they were younger, different people and no longer fit, even though they still care about each other; it’s not overly dramatic, but it’s real and honest.
For better or worse, Jake is also very real in his handling of the situation. He goes on a date with Levi, knowing Levi is into him, and although he apologizes, he still presses to be Levi’s friend. Jake may not know the white picket fences and HEAs Levi was spinning in his mind from the moment they met, but he knows Levi is attracted to him and that he is attracted to Levi. Jake’s a good guy but is very human in his selfish desire to want Levi in his life without having to make any tough choices. Although the story sounds like it would be all high angst and drama, it is balanced out by the different personalities and relationships the MCs have with the secondary characters; there is plenty of snark, banter and an overly vulgar BF all portrayed wonderfully by Jason Frazier.
A large part of my enjoyment for the story came from Frazier’s voice work. Jake could have easily come across as “the nice guy in sheep’s clothing”—where the author wants to portray him as a good guy, but his behavior at times contradicts the accolades he gets from the characters. However, Frazier brings Jake’s indecision, denial and confusion to life, making his actions much more understandable. Additionally, there is a decent cast of male and female characters, and Frazier does an excellent job making them all distinct and unique. His pacing is very good and keeps some of the longer segments of historical/building expositional detail from feeling too boring, helps the more uneven parts of the story flow better, and makes the inevitable conclusion to the long, slow burn of their unintentional courtship seem less predictable and cheesy. I enjoyed Love Me Tomorrow for combining the fairy tale fantasy romance of recognizing “the one” at first sight with the reality of how complicated emotions and relationship can be. And though this is my first book narrated by Jason Frazier, it definitely won’t be my last.

When I read the blurb for this story, I was intrigued. Was there going to be cheating? What constitutes cheating, is it emotional, physical or both? I wanted to see how the author would play this out and I have to say….Job Well Done!!
Levi Goode is a young man who is an up & coming party planner and is looking to take the throne. He’s poised and raring to go. He gets to opportunity when he’s asked to host a wedding anniversary and if he comes correct on this….BAM…He Is So In1! However, Levi has an ailing mother whom he worries about as she has multiple health issues. He is also lonely and not really the one night stand kinda guy. Levi is looking for the connection that he sees others have, even if part of him doesn’t truly believe that he can have that. He has become the opposite of how his mother lived her life…full out and chasing all the wonders of the world. Levi…he’s more down to earth and in need of having things ordered and well thought out.
Jake Freeman, I liked Jake. Here is a man who is really a good man. He wants to be on the front lines when it comes to helping people. He is a man of action in so many things and yet, when it comes to his relationship with Victor…he’s just letting things slide along. Jake is from a wealthy, prominent political family and when he decided that he wasn’t going to be used as a political pawn any longer…boom…he was out. The snide comments and the way in which his parents speak to him, it’s like damn!! It’s really more his father than his mother, however, she’s co-signed that behavior…so it’s on her as well. Jake’s twin sister, Julia…he loves her and she him. Jake is just this really great guy and if he were a real guy…I’d buddy up with him in a minute.
The secondary characters in this book…were pretty damn great. I loved Ruby, Levi’s mother. She is this wonderful mother who totally loves her son. Has accepted him from the moment she was pregnant with him. Angelo and Valerie…these two had me ROLLING!! I loved these two and when they were in the same room and feeding off of each other…Watch Out!!
I was really looking forward to these characters getting down and dirty. I mean, I waited through the ENTIRE Book before they even kissed and then…it was implied. I’ve not read a book by Ethan before, so I’m not sure if this is normal for him, however, I wanted to see the sexy times after the build-up of so much freakin passion and just the lustful air around them. DAMMIT!!! But that’s just me. I felt a bit cheated by that, but still.
So, I know what everyone’s true question is….Cheating. Well, I will say that you’re going to have to read the book. I don’t want to spoil it for you. You’ll be alright, swear!!
This was a fun little read on a Sunday early afternoon and I giggled and read portions out loud to my bestie, so overall…entertaining and slightly frustrating…but a solid read that left you with a nice sweetness that wasn’t overly sticky.

Levi Goode is the newest premier party planner for the elite. Because of an unusual circumstance and well-timed party, his phones are sure to be ringing off the hook! All of his hard work it finally set to pay off! Despite his business success, Levi is lonely. He works so much he only has a handful of friends and even fewer love interests. He seems like such a genuine guy, it was rather heart-breaking to see his personal life floundering. This beginning of the book felt like we were moving very slow. We got a lot of detail but it was almost too much. A lot of that wasn't necessary to keep the story going. I thought it would pick up when Levi meets Jake, a paramedic sent on a call to his ailing mom's residence, but it really doesn't. At least for not for awhile.
Once it does pick up, I was much more interested! The chemistry between Levi and Jake was solid and I really felt for both of the them. Jake was already in a committed relationship of 9 years with Victor. He was truly struggling to deal with his feelings for Levi. They tried being friends but there was no way Levi could do that and if Jake was honest, he couldn't either. It was really hard to see both of them struggle so mightily. It was a very complicated situation for each of them. I liked that even though Jake's relationship with Victor had been on life support, he never gave in and cheated on him. Physically anyway, but emotionally, well yes. I was ok with that though, because I saw how he was really trying to come to grips with his feelings for Levi. Victor wasn't a douche bag to Jake so that just increased his frustrations. Ultimately, he could no longer stay with Victor. They were heading down different paths in life and staying wasn't fair to either of them.
I really enjoyed the humor in the book and the secondary characters were great! Angelo and Valerie were hilarious! Julia, Jake's twin sister was very insightful, but the one that took the cake was Levi's mom, Ruby! What a hoot! Former Las Vegas showgirl with a very promiscuous past, she is such a breath of fresh air! You never knew what she was going to say next!
I loved Levi and Jake as a couple! Their connection sizzled. After reading all this build up, I was so bummed to not read about their sexual encounters! I knew it would be fiery, frenzied, and just bursting at the seams! Their epic and wild sex was implied, but I really wanted to read about it firsthand and share in their joy of discovering one another! As the reader I felt gypped! Other than that, this was a wonderful book to read about finding your one true love. Journeys such as these aren't always easy and you have to work for your happiness. In the end, it is worth the struggle.

I liked the bang-up way the book started with a wacky charity party that introduces Levi and his upstart Event planning business. We also meet his asshole ex and his new boyfriend. We meet Levi's mother Ruby and his best friend and business associate Valerie. Ruby keeps firing nurses and Levi meets Jake the paramedic. There are immediate sparks, they have the first date then... we meet Jake's boyfriend.
Then the story slows down. It's still interesting but mostly about the two men becoming friends and fighting their attraction and budding feelings. For those of you adverse to cheating in romance don't be alarmed. There is none here.
I loved the characters, Levi is funny and Angelo his new hire is sexy and also a wild character. I admit I rooted for them to hook up.. I hope I see Angelo sometimes in the future! The story has many funny elements, such as Levi's drunken night. I laughed until I cried. Levi's silliness makes a great contrast to the angst in the story as well. I also thought it was romantic, though don't expect steamy bedroom scenes.
I liked the narration as well. Jason Frazier has a soft, easy to listen to voice and his snort-laugh really was awesome! I recommend this if you are looking for a sweet, funny romance.

Wow. That was one helluva angsty and emotionally charged ride and the emo in me loved. Every. Second. Watching Jake and Levi come together in an indelicate push and pull dance was gut and heart wrenching at times. Obviously, this story is one sloooow burn. There was TONS of build-up, a bunch of drama, and a never-ending ache of a budding friendship and love, restrained by Jake's involvement in a long-term relationship with Victor. BTW, I loved that Ethan Day didn't take the easy way out by villain-izing Victor. It kept the story and characters real. I did think that Jake and Levi's eventual coming together was ill-timed but not fatally so.
I also loved the supporting cast of characters and found myself LMAO on more than one occasion at their antics or Levi's inner monologue. These additional elements made the story extra enjoyable and incredibly robust.
Lastly, I must say that I have shied away from Ethan Day's books after reading Snow Ho because I really didn't care for it. But Mr. Day has proved that I was too quick to judge. I look forward to reading more of his work!

This is the ultimate Ethan Day novel--instant attraction between two love-starved men, secrets that neither of them want to reveal or deal with, and a horde of sometimes obnoxious and sometimes hilarious characters who push, prod and plot their personal wishes upon poor Levi and Jake.
As is usual with Day, the women are very strong and opinionated--Jake's sister, Levi's mother and PA--and the day-to-day lives clearly and perfectly detailed.
This is a mystery romance in many respects, but the mystery is trying to figure out how, or if, Levi and Jake will get together. Along the way they evolve as deeply penetrating and complex characters who deserve a sequel. That's how good this one is.

Great Story
I really enjoyed this book because it was filled with good quality story telling, interesting characters and not too much sex.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is tired of romances with too many repetitive and unnecessary sex scenes.
Just give me a likable protagonist that I can identify with, and I'm happy.

Long on angst, non stop humor with a dash of pathos. I fell in love with all the MC's and their family and savored every sentence. Loved it.

I cannot stand the coworker Valerie. She is such a bitch, and I cannot stand the narrators voice for her.
I am less than thrilled with Levi. Don't really like him, but I don't hate him.
Jake, I liked until it turned out he was a cheater. (Sorry, if you go to the movies with another man whom you are obviously attracted to and don't tell your boyfriend... that's cheating. If it was cool with the boyfriend, and it was OBVIOUS that it was not a date, then no issues. - I say it was obviously a date situation because of the comments of "You were pretty sure I'd show up" (or whatever it was) implying an expectation on Levi's part beyond just dudes hanging out, and also the fact that Jake hesitated as to whether he was going to go or not. That indicates guilt over going.)
The narrator kind of sucked.
Jake's twin sister and her husband sounded like they were 60.
I got so extremely bored about the architecture... even though it sounds like someplace I would live in a heartbeat and absolutely love. But I didn't need to be told about it over and over and over and over again.
So nah. I'm done.

I like when books of this genre have more than a hundred (or so) pages. So, right away I was into it. I really felt for all parties in this M/M-ROM. Hell, even the boyfriend that cheated years ago but was trying to make it work was sympathetic. He wasn't portrayed as a villain per se, just as a roadblock for our two MCs finding their HEA.
I also enjoyed the bits of reality sprinkled in the storyline. It wasn't automatically perfect- they had to learn each other as people, not just as crazy chemistry lovers. The 'real-life' aspects of this book, mixed with the beautiful unreality of ROM-COMs was what made this book a winner for me.
