Hades has never been this hot…

Raised with flowers and sunlight, Kory Granger doesn’t know she’s the goddess, Persephone. While she longs for freedom and dreams of singing on stage, she cannot escape her mother’s domineering thumb. In this modernized retelling of the Greek myth, Demeter Granger brought her daughter to Las Vegas, far from the drama of Mt. Olympus.

I was given this book by the author for my honest opinion. I received nothing in returned for doing so.
No Spoilers!
Let's just say I don't normally read books about god's mainly because I always think they have to stick to the history and write it like it should be. But I always give a book a chance even if I think I won't like it. Let me tell you I was wrong! So wrong. This book had more then just about Gods and their the usual story. It had romance, it had sex scenes well play's or whatever for

Deven has lived a millennia and has seen more than his share of hatred; he secretly desires some lightness in his dark shadow of a heart, and can only find solace within his realm of The Underworld; his newest nightclub in Las Vegas. This book was very different from anything I have ever read. I believe in giving a honest review, for this reason I couldn't rate it over 3 star. It was a well presented story and was an okay read but not great. I think I struggled with the fact the characters were Gods, such as Hades, Aphrodite's, Demeter and it was reading about BDSM. Dominate and submissive characters is all well and good but with characters as Gods, it just didn't fit for me. Kory was a beautiful character, very innocent and

Love this book! This book takes you on an amazing and hot adventure! You never know what life has in store for you. This book gives you all the amazing hotness you could ask for! I could not put it down! I love how the Underworld is detailed, you get transported there and lose yourself. I could read this book several times and never get tired of it! I can't wait for the next book! Kudos to Solera Winters! I don't think anyone could make the Underworld sound as amazing and "hot" like she has! A d ...more

Journey to the UnderWorld by Solera Winters my review

The story has a unique twist. Set in modern times. Hades has found a way to be once more worshipped as the God he is. Creating a club in the hot spot of Las Vegas, he has people flocking to him every night, wanting to worship at his feet and do his every bidding.
As for Persephone she is under the domineering pressure of her mother’s thumb. Unknowing she is not the mortal woman Kory Granger, but the Goddess

I was gifted this copy direct from the author in exchange for my review, the opinions here are mine and mine alone.

All Kory has ever known is her mother's gardening business and her mother's temper. When Kory starts singing lessons, it brings her to the attention of Deven, owner of the club, Underworld. Deven, Lord Hades, wants to use Kory to get revenge on her mother.

But Deven doesn't count on Eros and Aphrodite getting in the way, with the proverbial arrow.

First and foremost, I loved this! Gre

Daaaaaaayum. Just Damn. *fans self* In this story, Deven or Hades is the owner of one of the hottest and most risqué clubs in Las Vegas. He is literally hotter than hell and a Dominant which doubles the hotness factor exponentially. lol The writer definitely knows how to describe him in a way that makes you all kinds of hot and bothered.

Kory is a singer and works with her mother in a greenhouse. She has been living her life as a mortal and has no idea that she is a Goddess or that her mom and he

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

I do not read book like this but i thought i would give it a go. I never rated this any higher because i think it would have good to have the back story between Hades and Demeter. I found it hard to follow i believe that having a slight knowledge of your Greek god history would be advantageous this would allow you to understand it a bit better.

A plot to seek revenge on Demeter for something that she has previous done to him (back history w

I really like the authors view of the myth of Persephone and Hades.I have read other books about the myth, but never realized that it could be viewed in a BDSM way was a nice touch. The way she showed Persephone as a very timid young lady and not the very opinionated woman that a lot of others have done shows the author took her time and looked into the characters that she was using in her book. I like the way she ended the book by showing lo

I did receive this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this story. There is something about gods and goddesses that are always intriguing and Solera Winters gave this story a new, modern spin. I liked the idea that Thanos aka Hades opened the hottest club in Vegas, The Underworld. It makes sense that his life included a little BDSM. This story mixed romance, steamy passion and conflict into a great read. I liked the romance and heat between Kory and Thanos. Plus, the growing tension

I have mixed feelings towards this book and I feel so bad that I have had to give it 3*.

I think if I knew how to pronounce the names of the Greek God's names I have may of gotten more into it. But I admire the author for doing it this way and something different.

This book has everything you want romance, dominance and submission. A girl who has no idea she is in fact a Greek goddess. The characters are great. It has twists and lies.

I received this free for my honest review, this story is a fantastic read you have the present day but with all the greek gods living amongst us, it works amazingly, romance, dominance, submissive, naïve sheltered girl who doesn't know she is a goddess, great characters, lots of lies to add the twists, true love overcomes, the battles to get there keep you reading

From the time Solera learned to read, she's possessed a colorful imagination and the desire to live life to the fullest. In childhood she began penning her take off of Nancy Drew mysteries then graduated to sneaking her mother's romance novels to expand her visions of what is possible. This fueled a wanderlust not just for faraway destinations, but for varied adventures.
