FACTS & FIGURES, 3rd edition is the first in a three text reading series which teaches discrete reading and vocabulary skills. It assumes that learners begin with a base vocabulary of 300 words and teaches approximately 500 new words.
This publication proved to be helpful and applicable with details and specific examples. The conversations, dialogues and contexts incorporated in this publication were also quite approachable and close to academic settings. Patricia Ackert made a good effort in composing Facts and Figures, and seemed to be successful at presenting specific information in terms of facts as well as illustrations. Overall, this publication could be of great use for most people.
