Vincent

Hot chicks and cool ink have been my life, my everything, for the past five years. But with one phone call that bliss is totally shot to shit. Don’t want to hear it. Don’t want to deal with it. But oh yeah, it’s coming for me. The motherfucking past. And who’s along for the ride? You’re never gonna believe it. That’s right, another blast from my past. The one and only rejection. Blondie. Hey…maybe it’s not all bad. Maybe I can finally get her - legs up and back to the mattress, that is.

Lisa

Yes, I’m getting married. And yes, it’s to ‘Buttons.’ I’m not embarrassed and I don’t think it’s a failure. Unfortunately, my bestie doesn’t agree. In fact, she thinks she has to rescue me. But ladies and gents, I’m beyond help. I’m cooked. I just want to fade into the Santa Barbara’s overly polished woodwork. If only a gorgeous tatted, foul-mouthed problem from my past would stop showing up and showing off what I’m never going to allow myself to have.

ARC Review

Rebel Ink is the third book in the Wicked Ink series and my first read for these stories. For me, this book has a difficult start. I did not like Vincent, the hero. I found him to be reprehensible and his manner revolting. I thought he was a pig. I was not certain this guy could be redeemable. But then he is.

When put into a situation to confront his horrific past, Vincent’s courage comes through. It’s a reminder that underneath people’s bad behavior is often pain. We get to see what is underneath the layers and that is satisfying.

In a traditional romance, the hero is motivated by the heroine to overcome obstacles. However, for Vince and Lisa, this is not the case. Vince and Lisa are thrown into this situation and have not even had a chance for insta-love. What Lisa provides is unconditional support, something Vince has never had before in his life. The revelation is rewarding.

I am impressed at how much emotional punch the author is able to deliver in such a short book. It doesn’t feel rushed, although it does feel unfinished. Thank goodness there will be more of Vince and Lisa. I will be waiting with bated breath for the next Wicked Ink book.

In a Nutshell:
Rebel Ink has whet my appetite for more Wicked Ink books. I can’t wait to go back and start from the beginning and get more wicked goodness.

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first book in this series, and I think I will go and read the first two. I know Vincent was probably annoying to many readers, but I found his antics very amusing. I just knew the over-sexed steez covered up some deep seated emotional baggage and so I was just waiting to get to the bottom of his need for multiple women.

I found the writing to be very sexy and humorous. I was chuckling my way through the book. This is probably one of the only novellas I’ve read that didn’t feature insta-love and I am amazed that the author wove a nice story in less than 100 pages. I thought it was a brilliant execution because this book fit in everything that I normally expect in a full size novel especially with regards to the plot and character development. We had what appeared to be a weak heroine Lisa and an aloof hero in Vincent, and they managed to grow by the end of the book. Both characters found the courage to make good changes in their life. Don’t get it twisted, there was a good amount of sex in this one, but it didn’t over power the story.

I have read this author before with her PNR/UF series, but this particular book was really smooth. I enjoyed this book more than anything I’ve read from Laura Wright and I will have to listen to the prior books in the series.

*Special thanks to Netgalley for the e-book given in exchange for an honest review.

I know this is just a short, smutty, novella, but I feel like I need just a touch more to give it the average 3-star rating.

This is the third book in the Wicked Ink Chronicles series that features those who work at Wicked Ink tattoo studio . Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books I found this book had a unique style of it's own . Written in a completely different style to what I'm used to from this author it took a while for this reader to actually begin to like the characters so to end up caring was a huge surprise! Yes this author is so good that she turned my opinion around one hundred and eighty degrees. An unusual beginning but an emotional ending filled with hope.
Our hero Vincent is almost an antihero with his constant stream of women and his totally bad ass and dirty ways. In fact this story even begins with a scene that confused me at first because the author gives a point of view from someone who isn't even really part of the book but it certainly starts with a bang! As this story unfolded we get multiple points of view and yes it's a sexy read but there's great depth here . I will admit though that I didn't quite understand why Lisa was so desperate to just conform and was quite relieved when she found her backbone . Lisa is not my favourite heroine but Vincent surprised me. As this is short I've no wish to spoil it for other readers but will say it's written in a way that initially might feel off putting but by the end it's impossible to put down. Ms Wright tackles tough issues in a way to make you think but still manages to entertain her readers. I think anyone who reads this book will cheer for Vincent and that for me was perhaps the most surprising thing of all.
I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for an honest review

Even though I had not yet read the first two in this series this was still easy to follow along. This was also alittle different from what I have read before from this author. When a author can give you various styles in their writting and still captivate the reader it shows their talent as in this one for me. This is also a very raw and bold reading with characters that fill the pages pulling you along right with them. Even though Lisa is kinda bullied into going with her bestie, deep down I think she wanted the escape. Vincent now it the type that is up in your face and has you wanting more from him. Even though they end up meeting on a night out you will have your panties twisted when you read where they end up. This will also be where you will get to see layer by layer the real Lisa and Vincent with what they will do for each other as they spend to time with each other. Jaw dropping expose with your heart wrenching will be one thing the author will give you in this. It will be so totally not what you thought would come to light, actually come to think of it she carefully hid it. So excited with the way it ends plus did not have to slap anybody because that is what I would have wanted to do if the outcome was any different. Received a copy for a honest review.

Wow, I kinda decided I wasn't gonna like this book..I'm not sure why because when I saw it on Netgalley I requested it and thought the cover and the blurb looked good. Netgalley did give me the book in exchange for an honest review. I figured I had read another series by Laura Wright so I should like it...

I stared the book and I thought the hero Vince was an as$hole..huge..he was a totally dick so unlikeable I couldn't think how LW was gonna turn this around. I wasn't sold on the heroine either cause it seemed like she sold out and was just doing what her parents dictated. I did like her Bestie and Bestie's main squeeze so I will have to go back in the series and read books 1 & 2.

After the first 10% the book started to grow on me and the more I read the more I was drawn into to this couple and the emotions that made them who they were...This short novel gave the reader such an emotional punch I couldn't believe that I didn't like them in the beginning. I have to give LW a lot of credit here because only a really good writer could create the feelings that were running through me as I read more and more about Vince's story and learned that he and Lisa had common ground and that brought them together. Lisa's strength of character supported the reader in connecting to Vincent in a totally different way. This was not an insta love novel although when they first met there was an attraction but it seemed that love was akin to dislike in their case and they went their separate ways only to be brought together again in strange circumstances.

I totally enjoyed this short novel and gobbled it up. I am definitely going to get the first 2 books in the series and catch up with the characters then put this series on my auto buy list. I really need to explore more of Laura Wrights work as she is 2 for 2 in the series I have read. The is a 4 star read for me...The only reason it is not a 5 star is that I did feel that Lisa and Vincent's story is not finished and I do hope we get to see more of them and watch the relationship grow in future novels. This books get a t'irla high recommendation and a summer do not miss read. This novel was released May 26, 2015 so run out and get it now!

From the very beginning of the series, I've always liked Vincent's sarcastic ass! I knew there was much more to him and that there was going to be an interesting story. When a new series begin, you never know if a secondary character is going to get their story told or not. I was extremely happy when Laura shared with us that Vincent was indeed going to get his own story.

While it has some time between books being released, Laura does a great job of reminding the readers who everyone is and you're never lost.

I have to admit... I wanted to smack Lisa... really? Making such an important decision such as marriage based on only trying to live on her own for 6 months. I know it can be scary but jeez, come on! I can totally see why Vincent would be making the jokes about the Rich Kid! It also bothered me how she didn't stand up to her parents where her best friend Addison was concerned. t first though. She turns things around and shows her maturity and that she can actually be a true friend.

Speaking of Vincent, there is a reason why he is the way he is and does what he does, and it isn't what you think. Laura handled a taboo subjected matter as well as one can in 97 pages and Vincent also handled it a la Vincent.

Classic Laura Wright, we have hot and steamy scenes!!!

Overall, a great continuation of the series! Heart felt and emotional!

Whole lot of emotions packed into this short book. I loved the humor throughout and Vincent is one dirty man but behind that man-ho façade is one messed up man with a heartbreaking secret.

We met Vincent who is Rush’s friend and works at the tattoo shop with him and Lisa is who Addison’s best friend in the first two books. Vincent was pretty much the same person he was at the start of this book, a nasty foul mouth man-ho. Lisa was also pretty crazy and free in the sex department in those books but after some disappointments after graduating college she ran back home to rich mommy and daddy and agree to marry a clean cut guy to live the white picket fence life.

Addison kidnaps her and brings her back to Vegas to try and talk some sense into her. This reunites Vincent and Lisa who act like they cant stand each other but deep down they’ve always been attracted to the other.

After a night of heavy drinking they wake up on a plane that takes them to Vincent’s home town, a place he ran from years ago to try and escape some ugly childhood memories. Here is where the story gets deep.

I love books that are full of angst yet also having you laughing so hard your almost crying. This book blended both things perfectly and I look forward to more of each couple’s stories.

Advanced Readers Copy Courtesy of Netgalley...:)

I really enjoyed this short and sexy story about Lisa and Vincent. I must admit, I had to go back and re-read the previous 2 as it's been a while between stories (but that is hardly a hardship, when they are such good reads).

Vincent is a tattoo artist and works at Wicked Ink studio's along with his friend Rush (from the previous books). He is a bit of a manwhore, who seems to have a penchant for threesomes. He met Lisa a year ago, and asked her if she would be interested in having one with him and another women. Of course she turned him down and now its a year later and Lisa is set to marry someone else in just a few short days. Her best friend, Rush's fiance kidnaps her, as she knows Lisa is not happy and is only trying to please her parents and brings her back to Las Vegas where she meets up with the sexy tattooed bad boy Vincent again.

This is where the story begins, and without saying too much, it really is a sexy read that is oh so steamy and will leave you more than panting....

When this one started out I found it very hard to like Vincent. He was too full of himself and really unpleasant. It was only once he had to face things back home that I started to see a different side to him and started to like him.

Lisa was the perfect person to be with Vincent as he had to face the past. She didn't really judge him, just supported him, even as he was horrible to her at first.

I was glad in how this one ended, loved the toast that Vincent gave, but even better was how he gained a girlfriend.

This is a great read for anyone who enjoys a fast paced, edge of your seat ride.

It is amazing how much Vincent changes in this story, and the way Lisa takes care of him just made me love her even more. This couple is amazing and I really can't wait to see where the road they are on will take them. Can Vincent be completely turned around by Lisa? Will Lisa learn to stick to it and not give up when the going gets tough? I look forward to seeing if these questions are answered in the next book in the series.

Best book in this series so far... Vincent and Lisa are both just pawns in their families games. They want to just have puppets they can do whatever they want to with. As a parent I just can't comprehend not totally loving your child, believing your child no matter what. Some serious issues in this book but also some fun, laughter and loving. Learning "love doesn't equal pain". my heart broke when I read that. I wanna know more about Vincent and Lisa's HEA. I want to see their parents and Kevin aka buttons see the real Lisa and Vincent. Mostly I want Vincent to really go to the police....

Lisa And Vincent Finally

Where did the real Lisa go. She's allowed fear of failure to change her. Vincent's childhood was horrific and he's just barely coping. Since the first time they met, they have been attracted to each other. If they can come together, they can live full lives . This is a entertaining hot read. Enjoy I did.

REVIEW: REBEL INK is the third novella in Laura Wright’s new adult, contemporary Wicked Ink Chronicles romance series. This is tattoo artist Vincent and Lisa’s storyline. Vincent and Lisa were first revealed to the reader in Rush and Addie’s introductory story First Ink. Lisa is Addie’s best friend: Vincent works for Rush at Wicked Ink. REBEL INK can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from dual first person points of view (Lisa and Vincent) as well as a couple of chapters from Vincent’s anonymous one-night stands, REBEL INK focuses on Lisa and Vincent’s second chance, of sorts, for two people who one year earlier spent an awkward night together. Fast forward where Lisa is now engaged to a man she does not love; and Vincent has never forgotten the one who got away.

Five days before her marriage to ‘Buttons’ Lisa finds herself in Vegas, with her bestie Addie, and what happens in Vegas apparently ends up in Minnesota. A night of drinking finds Lisa on a private plane to nowhere with Vincent- for his parent’s anniversary celebration- a celebration that Vincent is reluctant to attend.

Vincent is a man-whore; he buries his demons with anonymous sex, one night stands and in this Lisa sees below the surface. Vincent is damaged; someone or something has destroyed Vincent’s soul, and Lisa is the woman who is willing to take the chance on a man who can’t see beyond his dark and dangerous past.

REBEL INK is a storyline with graphic language; Vincent pulls no punches when it comes to telling it like it is and in this, there are some cringe worthy comments from a man who hides his pain with sex, emotional withdrawal and a bad attitude. Lisa was a bit of a doormat before her latest adventure with Vincent, and in this, Lisa is the perfect match and other half to Vincent’s healing soul.

Laura Wright pulls the reader into a heartbreaking, revealing and hopeful storyline about two people whose lives could not have been any different but so much the same. REBEL INK is a character driven novella where the past is revealed through reflection, thoughts and first hand accounts. The world building continues to focus on the people of Wicked Ink-their lives, their loves, and their possible futures. REBEL INK is an intense, provocative and passionate storyline that ends with a happily ever after for now-there is more Lisa and Vincent to be told.

I really wanted to be able to give this book 4 or even 4.5 stars. But it just never quite shone in the right ways to do that. I wanted this book right after reading Shattered Ink. In fact, I haunted Netgalley in the hopes of getting an advance copy.

Lisa is a great character. Dominated by her parents and sliding into doing whatever they want as the path of least resistance, she is on the verge of making a terrible mistake and marrying a stuffed shirt she really can't stand. I'm absolutely cheering when she gets "kidnapped" and dragged off for an intervention. I really like how she grows in this book, starts to take control of her own life, and makes an impact. Vincent is her rather dubious "hero", who drags her to his "home" for a party his mom is giving. To say that his family is dysfunctional is the understatement of understatements. And this is also where the book started to lose me. I love damaged heroes. I mean love them with a capital l. In general, the more emotionally damaged the better. But Vincent didn't do it for me the way damaged heroes usually do. Something was just that little bit off.

Major spoilers below. Seriously, major spoilers:

When Vincent is summoned home, he finds he has no choice and Lisa ends up making the trip with him. The remainder of the book has a slightly melodramatic feel to it, both in tone and action. It's not that it isn't dramatic; it is full of high drama and deep reveals. It eats at your gut and spews emotions out one right after the other. The problem is that it all feels just that little bit over the top and I feel like that took away from the emotional intensity.

I'm so ready to read Fallen Ink though. This has been a great series.

Wicked Ink Chronicles book 3 is the story of Vincent, a tattoo artist at Wicked Ink. Vincent is the epitome of a manwhore. He never has the same girl twice and often is with multiple partners in one night. The girls he beds all know the rules. Lately, he has been more moody than usual and will often not even finish the deed with his sexual partners. No one is allowed to touch him or stay past the act itself. The rest of the Wicked crew is aware of his mood change but Vincent is not one to let other people in on his life.

Lisa is best friends with Addison and is in need of an intervention before making a HUGE mistake with her life. Addison shows up and “kidnaps” Lisa for some BFF time in Las Vegas, hoping to change Lisa’s mind and help her get back to being the confident out spoken women she was a year ago.

Through the course of events, Lisa and Vincent end up drinking their problems away and then being “kidnapped” again by Vincent’s family. Vincent has had the hots for Lisa for the past year but she has not paid much attention to him. The two admit to themselves that there is sexual attraction. Vincent is very different from what Lisa would normally consider a “safe” bet in a partner.

The story goes through some conflict. Vincent’s secrets are reveled and Lisa is there to support him. I can appreciate the trauma that Vincent has suffered. The author does a good job identifying with Vincent and his pain, lifestyle choices, and loner behavior. I don’t think the story moves at a pace that allows the reader to believe in the relationship between the main characters. The story ends with a promise of more time spent together, but after poking each other with jibes and slander for over a year, the two of them experience insta-love after 24 hours spent together. I like the characters. I would like about 50 more pages to see them develop into friends and lovers.

I do enjoy this series. The author paints excellent pictures with her words. I look forward to seeing where the rest of the Wicked Ink team takes us!

REBEL INK is the 3rd book in the Wicked Ink Chronicles and was definitely my favorite. Though they are all wonderful, I just had this “thing” for Vincent and was glad to see a book about him.

First, READ this book description! It gives you a good preview of how the book is written and what it is about. How can you NOT want to read it? I loved everything about it – but especially the snarky relationship between Lisa and Vincent. They made me laugh out loud a few times.

Know up front that this is a gritty, sexy, hot, steamy, down and dirty read. Vincent is a character that is not ashamed of his “bad boy” lifestyle, and doesn’t mind talking about it – in detail! Of course, that’s part of what you have to love about him. What you don’t expect to find is the depth to his character. Behind all that ink and mouth is a different person…one that nobody else knows.

The story of Vincent and Lisa is a little more serious than you would expect, and gives a good dose of angst, which I also love. I am a sucker for wounded and broken heroes. I just can’t pass them up – and this one did not disappoint. Vincent makes you just want to “fix” him. Lisa is a strong heroine. I didn’t think so at the beginning, but as the book progresses, you get to see another side of her. She has definitely lost her way, but Vincent brings her back to herself and who she really is.

Laura Wright has written a heart-gripping story that grabs you from the beginning, and holds on until the end. Vincent is a conflicted soul. He wants to love and be loved, but can he overcome his hidden demons and give it a chance? Can Lisa trust enough to let him in? You most definitely won’t want to miss this one. I highly recommend!

I received this novel in exchange for an honest review by netgally and romancebeat.

If you were raped by your mothers new husband every weekend and your mother never helped you would you cut yourself out of their lives as soon as possible?. My guess is you would say yes and for Vincent this is exactly what he did in a big way, working in a tattoo pala, covered in ink and piercings and sleeping with any semi good looking women that walks by is his way of dealing with his past. And he likes it that way but unfortunately after going out with his best friend and tracking down his girlfriend and her best friend Lisa everything changes. Dragged onto a plane and forced to face the demons of his past is one this but having to do it with a women you both lust and hate at the same time is a whole new level of crazy. Most women would run if they come to see how much of a lie Vincent's life really is but by shear determination Lisa is sticking around to help him get through this hellish weekend his mother has install for him.

Hot, that is the only word I could sum up to describe this steamy novel by Laura Wright. Following the damaged Vincent and the soon to be married Lisa as they crash together over one crazy night. After a crazy weekend their relationship goes from lusting over to lusting under and now with everything that has happened they now are trying to figure out what they mean to one another.

I will definitely be reading the first two installments to this novel as it was a fantastic read, maybe a little light on the content or lacking in actual depth but was an overall great read and one I'll recommend.

In Rebel Ink readers finally get Lisa and Vincent's story. It's been awhile since I've read the first two books, but there was no denying the attraction between Lisa and Vincent in Shattered Ink. Like the previous books, Rebel Ink is a pretty quick read. I think that if you haven't read the first two books everything might seem to happen a bit too quickly with little to no build up. For everyone who has read the other books, they will know where Laura Wright is coming from in regards to Lisa and Vincent's relationship.

Rebel Ink starts out with a bang (literally). I didn't remember First InkShattered Ink being quite as graphic as Rebel Ink, but I think the reason for that is explained by the end. Not wanting to give anything away, but again, Laura Wright does really well with getting to the meat and bones, as it were, of the story and taking out a lot of the fluff. We know right away that something is messing Vincent up. I'm sure the story could have gone on and on about Vincent's conquests, but Laura Wright utilizes it enough to get a point across and leaves it. Not much in the way gratuitous scenes and with the story being so short, that's a good thing.

I don't know if there is any other stories planned in the series, but there's definite possibilities.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story from the very first few pages. Vincent, works for Rush, is the tattooed manwhore bad boy that we got glimpse of in the first two books of this series. Lisa, the best friend of Addison, is about to make a huge mistake in marrying a man she doesn't love to please her blue collar parents. Mayhem follows when Addison decides to kidnap her 5 days before the wedding and take her back to Vegas. Vincent has his own troubles to deal with in the form of his estranged mother demanding his attendance at her anniversary party. They both get wasted on the bachelorette party and somehow find themselves on his family private jet heading to his hometown. Without spoiling it for anyone Vincent has very valid reasons for not returning home for many years following traumatic abuse from his stepfather. None of it goes well but it brings the two together, Lisa realising she doesn't want to just settle with an almost arranged marriage and Vincent realising his manwhoring is just a way to hide from the unresolved issues from his past. When they finally get together the sex is seriously hot, not a lot of it unfortunately as it's quite a short story but it's worth the wait.

My reason for the missing star was due to the fact that the ending of the story was just too abrupt! I felt like the last chunk of the story was missing. It wasn't completely resolved for me, I wanted to see the return to Vegas, catching up with rush and Addison and Lisa's family fallout. Needed to be one chapter longer!

"He's such a prick. A total dick. A bastard. And yet . . ."

I have been a fan of this series since I picked up First Ink free on amazon and got lost in the story. After reading and loving Rush and Addison's story I was extremely eager to see where fellow tattoo artist and somewhat slimy man whore Vincent and very blue blooded Lisa would take me and where I landed was a journey I was not expecting.

"You're hurting, like, hardcore. And instead of dealing with it, talking about it, letting it out, you ask me to sit on your face."

The story is told from multiple point of views and while I loved both hearing Vincent and Lisa's takes on their tale I was thrown off a bit by the few chapters told from the POV's of Vincent's conquest. The book opens with one of the POV's and since I was not paying close enough attention for half the story I thought that it was Lisa's side and that changes a lot of how I view her. But rest assured that there are only a couple of these point of views and overall they fo not take away from the book itself.

"Leave it to me to fall for a chick who's taken."

Being such a fast and sexy read I was not expecting the depth to which this story went. Full of light hearted quips what is mostly a fun read also dealt with some tough topics and handled them with a dash of drama and angst. For all that Vincent went through I along with Lisa was powerless not to fall in love with him and this story. Once again Laura Wright had me devouring her book and eager for more.

ARC kindly provided from author in exchange for a honest review.
3* review.
I received a arc from the publisher (via netgalley) in exchange for a honest review.
Rebel Ink is the third novella in the Wicked Ink Chronicles series by Laura. This ones based around Vincent and Lisa. Vincent is a tattoo artist and works for Rush who you met in First Ink. Lisa is Addies best friend who you also met in First Ink. Although it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone in my opinion. I hadn't read the first two before I read this one, I read them after and I managed fine without having read them first.
Reason it was only a 3* for me was I found it really hard to connect with the main lead Vincent. I just didn't like him at first or throughout really he was just not for me, too full of himself and a real pig, though I did warm up to him a bit when I found out his secret but not enough to give more the a 3* review. The first chapter also confused me because it was from someone's point of view who isn't really a big part of the book. I liked Lisa and I did think her and Vincent were suited quite well so that was a plus for me. Only thing was, and this may be a spoiler for some so stop now if you don't want to know, but they didn't get together till right near the end of the book so you hardly got to see any of them as a couple. Like I say it was a ok read and I did enjoy reading the first two books after as well and will read more from this author it just wasn't worth more then 3*s for me.

i'm a fan of the wicked inked-series. so rebel ink was a no-brainer for me.

i have to admit, that i started to doubt my decision somewhere around 50-60% into the book. because even though this book starts hot and i know it is only a novella, i had the impression, that this story was only about vincent. yeah, i love this dude, he's sexy as hell with his crude side and everythin' - but the turn this book took was maybe a little bit too much for such a quick read. it surely is a tricky job to get a good storyline and enough sexy time into a novella - and i sort of began to think that the author did't nail it this time. but somewhere around the 80% mark, the whole romance aspect took a good turn and the story became a very swoon-worthy romance after all... the author has an uncanny talent for that, i guess :-)

another thing i'd like to mention is, that the female mc, lisa, was a really likable character, a cool chic - and that made the whole story even better!!!

so, i didn't love it as much as the first two books in this series, but i'd recommend it nontheless. a good novella with just the right amount emotion, sexy and angst - go for it ;-) i maybe have to mention here, that the writing is like the two mc's: crude, badass and cocky. i myself swear like a sailor, so no prob with that, but if you are sensitive in this regard, you might first want to try the sample...

i give rebel ink 4 stars! :-)

Oh where to start. This book is to die for. Let's start with Vincent. Vincent Vincent Vincent. Oh how I love thee. My heart aches for him. I loved Vincent. He is tall dark tattooed and pierced. But why is he like this? What is his dark secrets he hides? I loved finding out things about Vincent and his life. I love his crude mouth. But what happens when Lisa comes waking back in his life. In walk Lisa back into his life. A woman he wanted but never got. She back in town because her best friend has kidnapped her to talk to her about her wedding. Los runs into Vincent. She has always wanted him but has never went there because she does want to be another notch on Vincent's post. But will temptation or fate cause her to second guess everything? This book is great. This book does end suddenly but don't worry there is more to come. I loved this series and can't wait to learn more about Vincent and Lisa. The next book cannot get here fast enough. The only downfall to this book is it over before you know it. It sucks you in and you can't put it down, so it's over before you know it. The only thing I wish is they were much longer. But hey 1000 pages still wouldn't be enough of Vincent. This book is a must read. 5 stars all the way.

I am confused. Really confused....

Actually the first 50 % of this book, I was just like "Ok, this book is....strange. Nice story, but the writing style was just too much!"

I knew right from the beginning that I like Vincent as there is something about him which makes him really interesting. About Lisa I actually can't say the same as her personality is too contradictory-so it's pretty diffivult to connect with her.

I still didn't really like the way how Vincent talks about woman as it wasn't presented in the right way in my opinion. The writing style is the reason why I didn't like the book the first half.

But then there was sme point which changed everything. I don't know what it was exacty, but I guess it is the moment we are able to see what happens under the inked skin from Vincent.
From this point on, the story got me! I have to admid that I haven't read the first two books so my review is totally based on this one. But I am sure after reading the third book: the story behind the presentation is awesome, for sure also in the other books!
