So look this is going to be kind of political in a way? and I apologize in adVANCE for what I’m about to talk about. I picked this up with the best intentions because who doesn’t love sentient object erotica lol I mean if nothing else I’d laugh right? Welllllll I liked this at first but then I’m reading about Evan, a college student, who is broke and needs some cheap furniture and unluckily or lucky for him I guess he finds a purple chair that just happens to have Drake, a messenger to the gods, stuck inside it. Evan is horny and drunk one night, can’t find someone to hook up with and then looks at his chair. Somehow this bright purple chair starts turning him on and he proceeds to drunkenly rub his cock against it and stick it between the cushions. He’s rubbing his cock against the chair leg like a cat in heat, all the weird things but unfortunately all I could think about is fucking JD Vance fucking his couch cushions (iykyk) 💀 and like EWWW. Sit Me Down by Sabrina Cross is the second book in the Room Mates series, and is a Sentient Object Romance between a man who used to be a messenger for a goddess that’s now stuck on earth as a chair, and a struggling college student who just needed some cheap furniture for his home! They very quickly become acquainted which results in ~ chair smut ~ I loved this book! I love Sentient Object Romance, and I’m not going to lie, by the end of this story I was swooning over the chair man’s wholesome decision that he makes, and I am super happy with this book. I love Sabrina Cross’s writing style and I think she did a great job with this one!

I definitely recommend Sit Me Down by Sabrina Cross as well as the first book in the series, Light Me Up. These can be read as standalones but the characters and some events do overlap so I recommend reading them in order! If you don’t think you’d like reading about a man getting freaky with a chair, then don’t pick this up, leave it for us weirdos to love!

Unbelievable. I can't believe how a mere 52 pages could be so amazing. Sometimes these little smutty novellas are written with zero flair, zero pizazz, zero skills in basic English - but this was the exact opposite. It was cute, hot, a HEA, and so fucking funny. I laughed so hard.
