An absolutely amazing knock out debut! Theo and Willa are end game!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Honey Kissed by Mary B Gould.
What a beautifully written debut novel. The story was engaging, beautiful, and full of so many emotions. Honey Kissed contains themes of grief, trauma, friendships, and resilience, and gave me all the feels.
I loved the romance in this novel, and was truly swooning at the MMC. He’s truly the perfect guy, thoughtful, kind, emotional. He was the whole package. Everything about the relationship between him and the FMC had me falling in love with him.
This book contains romance and mystery— so is hereby considered a romystery, and I loved it. The mystery truly kept me engaged and curious what would happen next.

Very excited to see what this author writes next! Would love to see other characters from this world’s story told!
What an honor to be an advanced reader for this talented author's debut novel.
Mary B Gould did a phenomenal job at portraying not only love in this book, but the silent struggle with grief, trauma, and how to overcome it. The dynamic between the two main characters is delicately orchestrated in a way that leaves you constantly rooting for them, combined with an ensemble of side characters that will make you laugh, cry, and scream.
The mystery aspect of this novel kept me on my toes, unable to put it down in the late hours of the night just so I could get to the next chapter.
This is a knockout debut novel, and the author should be so incredibly proud of herself and her work. I can't wait to see how she continues to grow and to read more from her! Everyone needs to add this to their TBR!
Thank you to the author for allowing me early access to your sweet town of Honey Oak Harbor.
This romystery follows the beautifully complex pasts of both Theo and Willa, and allows the reader to come along for their healing journey in the passenger seat of this sweet small-town romance. Theo is new to town, learning how to navigate a new life without his best friend, and Willa has to figure out what it means to trust someone new after being betrayed. This is a cute, closed-door romance for fans of Gilmore Girls who are looking for a sprinkle of whodunit that will keep you second-guessing all the town's lovable characters' motives.
I cannot wait to see where this debut author takes her career, but I know that her future looks bright!
This book officially won me over to the romance side, and it was my sincerest pleasure to get to be an advanced reader. The author completely smashed it out of the park on her first novel, and I genuinely cannot wait for more from her!
The mystery kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, and just when I thought I had it figured out, I was dead wrong. The sweet romance makes me want my own Theo to come home to, because Willa is one special lady.
If anyone has access to a time machine or memory eraser, please let me know, so I can read this great book again!
