Were-lynx Kennedy’s world implodes when she’s sent to a facility for illegal and torturous experimentation. Only after she’s rescued does she learn she’s been living a lie for 22 years. She can count on nothing from her past—not her parents, her surname, or her safety. Only the brother she didn’t know and his colony of were-lynxes offer any semblance of stability. Suspicio ...more

This novel picks up right where the previous story in the series left off and takes readers deep inside the world of the were-lynxes. It is action paced and suspenseful at times, wildly romantic at others. Crandall does a fantastic job of drawing readers into her story & giving them a world to loose themselves in. The novel is well written & edited, the polished finish making it infinitely more enjoyable for the reader.

The world that Crandall creates is well rounded and developed on all

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Cravings, by Lynn Crandall, is book 2 in the Fierce Hearts series. It is the story of Kennedy, a were-lynx, who was found at a research facility that her adoptive parents placed her in. She ends up in the care of a colony of were-lynxes run by her brother. This book is about how she learns to cope with what her parents did, the fact that they weren't really her parents, and how to find where she truly belongs. She meets Asher,

So, my only reason to read this book was because it was said the genre was paranormal-romance (see the bold? Yes, that’s pretty much explained everything…). I thought this gonna be the same old paranormal-themed story but Cravings brought new creature to the story called were-animals. Cravings was my first book of Ms. Crandall so as usual I made no expectation
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
I read the book because it was in the series. I also read it to make sure I did not miss any information for moving forward in the other books of the series.
Upon being introduced to Kennedy I felt her pain and confusion. I could understand her feeling out of place. Not connected or no connections. She had to find out who and what she was and disregard what her life was for the last 22 years.

Kennedy for me was like a wild card. I was not sure what to expect from her. Where she was going or what

OMG LYNN CRANDALL HAS DONE IT AGAIN EXCEPT THIS BETTER THAN EVER BELIEVED!! I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest opinion of “CRAVINGS”. This is Mismousey’s very honest opinion of her book.

Ms Crandall has a very unique writing style that is all her own. She has taken fantasy and mixed a bit of reality into. By that I mean, one day in the future -who knows we might actually see these things come true. At the moment though it is EXCELLENT PARANORMAL !!! You the reader – are s

I love a great paranormal read, and this was a really good insight to a new--well, to me--breed of shifters as the book revolved around lynxes.
I also enjoyed this new concept of 'colony' and instead of shifting, they 'shimmered.' On top of that, it was a new take to have the shifters develop another supernatural trait. Asher, the hero, could nudge people into doing something they didn't particularly want to do, and the heroine, Kennedy, could understand how something worked within sec

Kennedy has just had her life turned inside out. Everything she has ever known has been a lie. The people she thought were her parents are fakes, and she just found out she may have a brother. The Colony, the group that saved that saved her from danger, has decided to take her in. With all she's been through, Kennedy is not sure who she can trust, and the members of the group are not sure she can be trusted. Asher, a member of the Colony, has decid

Cravings is Book Two in the Fierce Hearts series and although the author has written each book as a standalone I’m really glad I decided to read Secrets first as I personally believe I had a better understanding of the storyline and characters.

I am a huge Paranormal Romance fan and this book did not disappoint as it had all the elements I love, shifters, romance, suspense and a bit of a thriller at times.

Author Lynn Crandall allows us to slink into her were-lynx world once again in the second installment of her Fierce Hearts paranormal series.

On the pages of “Cravings,” Ms. Crandall gives us characters that exist in two worlds – our world and their lynx colony, with traits so believable, readers will find themselves looking at their neighbors, the mailman, or their best friend and waiting for them to shimmer into a were-lynx. No need to fear, though, these folks w

Cravings had the elements in a book that I really love!! It had the paranormal aspect of having were-animals and it had plenty romance with not so perfect characters. Kennedy has had a rough life growing up with some awful people posing as her parents. She has been beaten and abused into submission for no reason. On the other hand, her love interest, Asher, has a hard time forgiving himself for misusing his

I’ve been a reader and a writer all my life. My background is in journalism, but whether writing a magazine or newspaper story or creating a romance, I love the power stories hold to transport, inspire, and uplift.

In my romances, I focus on vulnerable, embraceable characters who don’t back down. I hope that readers discover, over and over, stories of ordinary people who face ordinary life challeng
