This was a light-hearted, fun story that had me smiling from start to finish. I enjoyed every minute of this audiobook. I needed something kind of sweet and this was the perfect story.

While many of the typical elements found in NA stories were present in Attraction, I didn't bother me. NOT ONE BIT. The story is entertaining and fun, while the writing is quirky and utterly brilliant. Seriously I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, smart, romance. I loved it! Plain and simple and as usual Penny graces each page with her wit, her loveliness, her realism and the story flowed so naturally. It had the right amount of angst minus the pointless drama.
When I found out Penny Reid was writing a new book and trying something a little different than what she normally writes, I was super excited. I don’t read many NA books and loving her writing style I hoped this was going to be a good read. I wasn’t disappointed.

I was looking for something short and funny and I got exactly these two things from this book.
The characters especially Kaitlyn, the heroine really cracked me up for almost the entirety of the story. She has really smart and hilarious vocabulary that will make you unexpectedly bursting out in laughter.

I stumbled across Penny Reid a few months ago and since then have become a huge fan. First, this woman is so incredibly intelligent, I am in awe. Whether it’s reading her books or seeing her blog posts – I am impressed. Second, her book have this humor to them that is unique to Penny. I was really excited to read my first (sort of) Penny Reid book especially because a lot of my friends just love her books. While I enjoyed it, it just wasn't what I expected.
Primarily, I felt like the characters acted too young. They seemed more high school than college. Martin, young, rich, handsome, captain of the rowing team has a HUGE chip on his shoulder...obviously having to deal with his father. Quirky!! Although this has the same "cookie cutter" storyline of most "virgen-nerd-meets-playboy" type of books, I liked it a lot. She's very assertive, strong willed and is not easily bullied by the alpha boy toy. She stays true to herself and is not hoodwinked by him.
