I enjoyed reading this book it basis off the foundation of why it may be occurring as to it relates back to childhood experiences and in general any hard experiences that left one emotionally impacted and how they relates to a form of addiction in connection into relying on something external . The book also shares other people's experiences/stories . It mentions god a lot /belief system which is cool. The book also gives tips and healthy food recipes if anyone struggles. There is more to the book to understand so I definitely recommend on reading and understanding it from your own perspective and beliefs !

Love Hunger Weight-Loss Workbook is very helpful although some of the dietary suggestions aren't as healthy as they were believed to be when this book was first written in 1he 90s (for instance using margarine instead of butter).

As regards recovering from food addiction, the information is solid and still applies. All that's needed is a newer or more current books on health and nutrition and you're good to go. Overall, very supportive with helpful guidelines and exercises.
