Riley doesn't fall for straight women. Charlotte isn't a lesbian. One of them is lying.
Public speaking, pink party decorations, and a queer destination wedding in a country where she doesn’t speak the as it turns out, being a maid of honor isn’t Charlotte’s strong suit. The one silver lining is Riley, the other party’s maid of honor, who seems to know exactly what she’s doing. Riley is more than willing to help Charlotte navigate the uncharted waters of bachelorette planning and sapphic jargon—especially if she gets to push her buttons in the process.
No Judgment Whatsoever is a classic coming out story, reimagined through the perspective of a later-in-life-lesbian. On this journey through compulsory heterosexuality and denial, you will discover an homage to patience, fun, intimacy, and the female body and mind. It will teach you how to confidently say no, and enthusiastically say yes.

Single 3rd Person POV. 4🌟 3🌶️. 343 pages 3.5 Spicy Scenes
This book took me by surprise. It’s a solid debut by Joni B Fox and an enjoyable little fluffy read. Coming out at any age can be scary, but discovering you’re sexuality may not be what you’ve always thought in your mid thirties has to be both confusing and terrifying and this book encapsulates that fear, combined with the joy of self discovery.
No Judgement Whatsoever follows Charlotte a 35 year old life coach as she realises that her annoyance towards her best friend’s, soon to be wife’s best friend Riley, may be about more than dislike, in fact she may like her in a more than platonic way. The book is journey of self discovery, learning to navigate this new revelation and culminating in self acceptance!
It took me a couple of chapters to get a feel for this book, the writing style was something I’m not used to and was almost informal, with a single 3rd person POV. However once I got into it properly I thoroughly enjoyed reading. For the majority of the book Charlotte comes across as pretty self absorbed and down right rude, but the further into the book we get, it’s easy to pick up on the fact that she is completely self aware and this is a defence mechanism. It was obvious from the beginning that Riley was besotted and she was a sweetheart, if a sarcastic one, but it was evident she wanted Charlotte.
If you’re looking for something fluffy, with humour, sarcasm and the warm feeling of coming to accept yourself later in life, then id recommend giving this book a read.

Such a great book! My first sapphic book ever also! But I love the character grow and ofcourse how they grow close to each other! I’m in love with Shaky ❤️❤️
Coming out, no matter your age, is hard, and reading this book honestly felt a little like therapy. It beautifully captures the challenge of coming to terms with yourself, while also showing what it looks like to be truly supported by friends, and your first love. It’s also stupid funny and very sexy, so that helped too. I can’t recommend it enough.
I'm writing my first review on here because this book deserves it! I enjoy a book that immerses you, that, even days later, you can still picture the world you were in whilst reading. How true that is for this book and I am very glad to know this world will always be there to come back to! The main characters may be opposites but it was so refreshing to be able to root for them both at the same time. They are both very likeable characters and I think that is testament to how well the author handles their development. Sensitive subjects aren't shied away from but treated with care and respect. The humour is perfectly timed and the tension that builds between the characters is palpable!
Whilst I know this is a book I will reread I do wish I could read it for the first time again!
This romance novel was absolutely captivating from the very first page. The plot is skillfully written and full of twists that keep you completely engaged, constantly wanting to know what happens next. The story takes turns that pulls you even deeper into the characters’ journey.
Absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. Even though some of Charlotte's behaviors were frustrating at times, the growth of the characters, and the development of their story kept me glued and entertained. Perfect mix of humor, drama, and heartfelt moments.
I always have a special appreciation for a solid character driven story, and this one did not disappoint! Especially when the main character is somewhat of an antihero :p
I've completey fallen in love with this book its characters. Through two girls with very different personalities and life experiences, this story beautifully explores falling in love while discovering who you truly are—especially when said realization comes later in life than you'd expect.
I really wish I’d had a book like this when I was figuring out my own identity. It’s heartfelt, funn and deeply validating.
Truly a story that stays with you long after finishing it
