A short piece that I was asked for during one of my infrequent Livejournal fanfic request memes. Since it's Shadow of the Templar, I decided to file it over here, where it belongs. Simon and his team have a long and checkered history, and it's a history that began years before Jeremy Archer was even a blip on their radar; I always like getting to write pieces about their pre-booksdays.
