It was seriously hard to put down. Brent and Daniella have electric chemistry from the start, and seeing their connection deepen after that first encounter was so satisfying. I loved the mix of gritty danger woven into their story without slowing the pace. Daniella’s search for the truth about her past adds a great layer of tension, and Brent’s slow shift from guarded to all-in hit perfectly. And yes… the spice is very real: hot, bold, and addictive.

I’ll admit the first half of this book didn’t work for me. I struggled to connect with both the main female character and the main male character, and their choices were more frustrating than engaging. I kept going mainly because I already have the ARC for book two.
Thankfully, the second half really picked up. The pacing tightened, the plot became more engaging, and I finally started to warm up to the characters. The chemistry is definitely there, but the constant lack of communication had me wanting to shake them more than once.
I also found myself occasionally confused about who was who or what exactly was happening, which pulled me out of the story at times.
Overall, a rocky start but a much stronger finish — enough that I’m curious to see where the series goes next.

Addictive. I loved Brent and Daniella and adored getting more of them, the Seduced prequel just teases your appetite.
I loved their cute meet after Seduced, and how that instant attraction was still so strong and present. The pull between them just sucks you in and you just need more and more of them. Love how they can be themselves and be accepted, even if takes Brent a little longer to lower his walls.
And oh boy, the spice - super hot.

Brent...perfection 🩷
Oh wow! This was my first experience of H. L. packer and wow....if I haven't found a new book boyfriend and another new favourite author!!
This book had me up all night reading it. I just couldn't put it down and before I had even finished it I was recommending it to friends!
It's dark, sexy, and funny. I can't wait to read the next one!
