This is one of the amazing gifts I have received so far, presented by an avid traveller who advised me to NEVER STOP exploring beautiful places. This guidebook is well cultivated with detailed routes, contacts and lodges (especially of Annapurna Circuit).

Great!

Hard to find a book that lays out needed medical advice as well as this.

If you do get malaria, rabies or a hangover, at least you were warned ahead of time!

Its a comprehensive guide book but beware of the timings in the trekking section. They should come with some sort of disclaimer for those who don't make their living from hiking the Nepali Himalaya to write guide books.

Excellent guide, however is now a bit outdated (2016) and references the 2015 earthquake a lot. Very informative though blogs may provide similar information online, this guide is very comprehensive

Great detail, but i found this book a bit heavy going at times, and I found that the small font size added to this.
