August 31, 2024This little book was gifted to me a long, long time ago when I graduated high school. I don't know how or why it was placed on the bookshelf and forgotten, but it was. The book was formatted into sections containing some autobiographical information from Michael W. Smith and subsection of related scriptures from the Bible. While there is nothing wrong with this book, I would rather read out of my Bible too have access to what comes before and after a certain verse.

Enjoyed the scriptures and stories. But wished the scriptures had been intertwined in the stories rather than listed and the end of each topic. I almost wanted more content around applying the scriptures to the situations or what comfort could be felt from reading further into Gods Word.

This is a pretty standard book that would be a good book for a friend or a graduate. It has narrative from Michael W. Smith mixed in with bible verses about various topics.

Not a whole lot of content other than Bible verses listed under multiple topics.
