Outside the Window

by Anna Egan Smucker

Illus. in full color. In this good-night picture book, a mother bird tucks her babies safely into their nest and answers their many questions about the boy who lives in the house nearby. Snuggled in their nest outside the window, they watch the boy take a bath, listen to a bedtime story, hug his mother, and at last, fall happily asleep--just as the little birds do.

It was a great one to read with my kids and make a bird feeder at storytime.
