Mouthing Off: A Book of Rock and Roll Quotes

Rate this book
From elder statesmen like David Bowie, new superstars like Gwen Stefani, or controversial showmen like Marilyn Manson, rock stars are never at a loss for words. John D. Luerssen, drawing from his extensive career as a rock journalist, has culled these quotations from countless interviews, selecting choice cuts on subjects as diverse as religion, rock critics, drug use, and the battle of the sexes. Often obnoxious, sometimes introspective, and always remarkably compelling, Mouthing Off lets you eavesdrop on the stars without leaving your living room.

This book is supposed to be a book on rock and roll quotes. I said supposed to be because there are people in here that I would not ever condered rock stars unless they changed the definition. If true I still refuse to believe Moby and Eminem are rock stars. Half the bands I never heard of and again some are not really rock. I know they already messed up the music industry with all of it's new genres and subgenres so that bands and singers can now fit under multiple labels and this book does the same thing.
