And, Matthew

Re-read Jan 2019 in prep for book 3✨ GAWD I’ve missed these guys.

Original review below.....

Man oOh a Man....these guys, and why I really love them, and why I love this book~

The Reason's Why?

Reason# 1

Richard, Luke and Matthew..... jeez, they are sooooooo SWEET together. And this book shows their relationship working out beautifully.

Reason #2

The relationship felt REAL in a fictinal world. In that, I mean the common problems that a st

It was SO great to see these guys again. Probably one of the only menages I've ever been so thoroughly convinced would work. I just love these guys and so many decisions Sloan makes where there relationship is concerned. I didn't LOVE this one like i did the first, but it was a great read and, again, I loved seeing the guys. I think I'll be more pleased with this one after Matthew's book (*hint hint*) because this one didn't quite have the closure that More did. But still altogether good read. I ...more

While this one didn't grab me as much as the first book, I did like getting Richard's POV and seeing the growth of the relationship between the three men. I would really like to see something from Matthew's POV in the future since to me, he still seems to have trouble accepting himself as equal to Luke and Richard.

I loved this book. Loved. It. Richard Marshall is my man, no ifs buts or maybes, and he solidified my Richard-love in More Than Most. Protective, sexy, older Richard and the two loves of his life, Luke and Matthew. These men have all grown into their relationship. Luke, the POV in More, has developed into a much less cautious, more open man with a great sense of humour who'll let his guard down with the two men he has grown to love, and a relationship he values more than anything - something he ...more

4,5 stars.

This one is definitely one of my top favorites menage romances. Loved it more than the first book, less sex and more mystery.
The love those three have for each other... (and how it's still growing) is beautiful to watch. Highly recommended!

I still enjoy these guys. I love that they are still working at making their relationship work. It’s not easy. I really like that they talk, in so many books the problems would be fixed if the MCs just communicated and this is not the case here. The guys problems are all about merging their lives and at the same time keeping their own personalities intact. Yes they change a little bit as they grow, but essentially they are the same men that they were at the start. They each h

I really enjoyed this. Luke, Richard, and Matthew are still one of my favourite menage relationships along with Submission and Dark Horse. I can't wait to read the last book! The mystery storyline was also really great and interesting. But was such a huge focus of the book that at times I forgot I was even reading a romance. But it was still a really good mystery about an old estate and a family legacy and lost heirlooms. ...more

This sequel was a long time coming but in story terms we have moved on in Richard, Luke and Matthew’s lives by eight months. I’m not sure what happened in those eight months but when you start More than Most it is clear the dynamics of the relationship have altered.

Richard who was always the confident one of the three, always so sure of where everybody stood has been working away from home and starts to feel detached from the other two. He is less sure of his role

Enjoyed this story a lot. These three amazing men have made their Menage relationship work, but not without the struggles of life. Richard has become obsessed in buying the Harrison Estate keeping him away for 3 weeks from his men which in itself has caused tension between them. Others dangerous people want what is in the mansion at the point of killing and when Richard realizes his men are in danger he tries to keep them out of what he is doing to keep them safe, but both Luke and Matthew have ...more

I have to admit that at first I had trouble sinking myself into this book. I felt a disconnect between the characters that wasn't there in the first book. So why the five stars? The disconnect was purposeful. It wasn't bad writing, it was the toll the three men's lives was taking on their relationship. There is more intrigue in this book than there was in the first. Richard is working long hours and away from home to purchase a property that is in high demand. Others will kill to get their hands ...more

While this wasn’t quite as riveting as I found the first book, this was still pretty good. There’s another mystery to be solved when Richard buys an estate he has wanted for years. This book is completely in Richards voice, as book one was Luke’s. It gets kind of unbelievable at points but I quite liked the secret gay lovers and the tragedy that occurred. There’s lots of relationship talk, with the three taking turns getting angry with each other, then having long talks, usually ending in sex. I ...more

It's been a long time since I originally read book one, More, but I loved it so much, I've reread it multiple times so I'm very familiar with the characters. I was excited to get to this one, but I hate to say it -- I'm disappointed by it.

Richard, Luke, and Matthew are still together. Richard is super controlling in this story and constantly apologizing for it. He can't see how any of his actions impact the other men. Matthew is quite childish in this one and I would have hoped for more maturit

This is a great addition to the More series. I enjoyed the further development of the trio's relationship. Luke and Matthew are both coming to know and express their needs, and I liked getting a different point of view with this book. Although Luke's father is out of the picture, there is a new mystery and related suspense. There is still plenty of steamy sex, along with some angst, and at least one surprising twist. I really like that this is a true threesome, and not a pair plus one. Looking f ...more
I re-read book one in preparation for this sequel because it’s been a while, and believe me, it was no hardship to revisit Richard, Luke and Matthew and their sexy introduction! I loved this one just as much. It was wonderful seeing the maturity of their relationship and these guys rank up there as one of my all-time favorite triads!!

This was a nice follow-up to the first book. The story continues around 8 months after the first book and is told entirely from Richard’s POV. Since the first book was told from Luke’s POV it was nice to read the perspective of another.

As always, Richard needs to feel in control and this desire to be in control has put a strain on the trio’s relationship. Gone a lot for work, Richard wants nothing more than spend time with Luke and Matthew, but problems start to occur with his newly acquired es

I really liked the first book but I think this one is even better. They're all realizing that there are things in their relationship that they need to work on. And like thats not enough, Richard purchases a huge estate and they soon realize they got more than they bargained for. Many people are interested in sometthing hidden at the mansion, but none of them seem sure just what that is. Dominic is an old man who used to work there, that now feels its his job to protect the house and its contents ...more

My feelings are sort of tangled up with this book. I LOVED revisiting this throuple, and seeing their union from Richard's POV. All three of these characters are so vivid and well defined. And the mystery revolving around the estate was beautifully crafted and the story beats were good. All three main heroes grew and changed, especially Luke.

My only minor quibble was the (brace for it) lack of sex. Book one was crammed full of steamy scenes and it was wonderful. And I'm not asking for sex just f

Anyone else DNF this? Or am I again in the minority not liking this book? I started reading quite some time ago. Around 17% I lost interest and yesterday I returned. Now I'm at 35% and have to say - this is totally boring, no interest in any of the characters. The old guy always appearing at the house and Richard always heading there, to do what? Him realizing that he left his two lovers alone for too long only to then turn around and leave again? I have to say - here is nothing that compels me ...more

It has been awhile since I read the first book but I was easily drawn back into Richard, Luke, and Matthew's relationship.

A lot has happened since we last saw the threesome. Their relationship still has hiccups to overcome.

The mystery aspect of the romance was engaging and I enjoyed the interaction with Dominic, the former butler of the Harrison estate.

An excellent follow up story.

Unfortunately i didn't like this nearly as much as first one
I found the book a bit annoying. I loved the first one, but it's been a while since I read it. This one doesn't even come close.
For one, there is just so much drama going on. There's the whole plot about the house Richard bought that people want something from, but no one knows what, with the old butler constantly interfering. I took quite a while to properly take off and I was only actually interested in this plot line by the end of the book. For the first half it was just very repetitive and b

Matthew, Luke and Richard are wonderful. They share the type of love that we all want. Real love works through any problems that arise from within or without.
This second chapter of their story shows the growth of their relationship and their personnel growth. It shows us that even those of us who come across as together and strong like Richard, can have our own insecurities and fears.
That sometimes as we grow we have to hold on tighter while allowing each other space to grow. That love allows ea

This is fascinating, riveting, romantic and suspenseful. Richard finally gets to buy the Harrison Estate. But now he can't get the investors to invest, and people keep breaking in. Matthew and Luke seem distant from him, and closer to each other, and when things get dangerous at the estate, he pushes them away to keep them safe. They push back and he gives in, and together they figure out what it is that everyone believes in on the estate. That has them frantically searching the house, and inves ...more

This was a nice sequel to a great ménage story. I didn’t love it, as there seemed to be more angst than necessary. These guys already have so much going against them, simply working through that would be enough challenge for any relationship, but there is even more angst awaiting our trio.

Just as with book 1, there is a lot of sex and a lot of drama, and a pretty good resolution by the end.

While I enjoyed this, it doesn’t come near to my appreciation for book 1.

Richard has wanted to buy the Harrison estate for fifteen years and he had finally secured enough funds to do it, just before the owner dies.
Unfortunately others were just as determined to possess what was hidden within by any means possible.
This puts Luke and Matthew, Richards two lovers in danger and Richard will do anything to protect them, but the men find an unlikely ally in Dominic

Great Following Up Lovely MMM Romance/Drama
The boys are back. Richard, Luke and Matthew. I really love these guys. What I most love about Sloan as that she is able to seamlessly weave this threesome lovely. She has my love forever. This story is just as well written and just as sexy and drama filled as the first in this series. Love it.

Very enjoyable

I found this to be a great follow up to book one. I really enjoyed seeing more of Matthew, Luke, and Richard as they work to find balance in their menage relationship. While I did like the characters, Richard was a bit trying at times but all in all it was an enjoyable read.
