My name is Emma Knight and I’m a twenty-four-year-old woman who was moving from Miami to New York to pursue my dream of attending Parsons School of Design. My plan was set in motion. I was packed and already on my way when I met a man and received an email, both of which altered my plans and changed the course of my life.

I admit the plot line drew me in... it seemed interesting but sadly that's where it ended. This story was horrible, the characters were awful and childish, always screaming at each other and acting like little kids. That heroine... man she was something else!! She took erratic mood swings to a a whole new level! And the hero, wow but he was a winner! What a waste of my Saturday afternoon! I want my money back.

There was so much about this that didn't work for me

- zero connection between the MC.
- plot holes big enough to drive a tractor trailer through
- time inconsistencies
- enough weird dialogue that I got tired of highlighting all the WTF and "huh" moments.

Didn't work for me at all.

The summary grabbed me but the story read like a draft. So many things that were unrealistic given the characters that Ms. Lynn developed. The story needed to be fleshed out and the inaccuracies rewritten. Concept good but execution lacking.

I love how the story started, they met only after a few pages and the deal happened just as fast! I like fast paced novels, where we don't have to wait chapters after chapters for a storyline improvement. So I could say that the story was already juiced up from the start.

I like the writing style. I like how the word flow and it was written in 1st Person POV so I got attached to the characters quite fast.

The storyline is good. It has sense, not just some shitty made up story that's tot

His Proposed Deal is another fantastic book by Sandi Lynn. This book has it all! HOT rich playboy (Max), beautiful girl pursuing her dreams (Emma), instant attraction, hot sex, pain, heartbreak, love and devotion. All would be well and good, but love and unexpected surprises were never supposed to be part of the deal. Sandi Lynn does an amazing job bringing this story together and making you both love and hate Max. This book has both panty melting sex and deep emotional loving moments that will ...more

I read most of Sandi Lynn's books and I loved them all. But on this one I was disappointed. I'm sorry to write this. There were emotions (or just a little), it was very rushed - the story goes trough the pages like a train. The storryline was absoluttely predictible, no suprises. I have to say, for me it was lame and I couldn't wait to finish this one. I had this feeling, that this is not even a Sandi Lynn novel. But I have another one to read. I'm sure "A Love Called Simon" will do it for me, l ...more

I am confused by the five-star ratings for this book. The plot was contrived and obvious. I forced myself to finish. Yuck!

No. No. No. Just... No.

The premise really had me interested: a three month deal... she'd pretend to be his fiancé so that he got his inheritence/trust fund, and he'd pay her College tuition.

The two main chatacters werr so unrealistic, unlikeable and uninteresting. They had absolutely no chemistry... and really no reason to actually like each other. Oh and the main female character? She was so bitchy and kind of... multiple-personality moody. I had whiplash from her moods.

The story went at

The concept was good, but the book was rather poorly executed. The novel felt like barebones; it was a good outline, but not a finished novel.

There was a lot of telling rather than showing, and poor characterization. I didn't connect with, or even know much about the characters other than Emma. Also, huge chunks of dialogue were glossed over. In many parts there was a brief summary of the events that took place rather than experiencing the situation, and reading the actual dialogue. Events were

This was so bad!
How in the world did it manage to get such a high average rating?!?

While the premise sounded interesting, I found both the story and the writing really poor.
The characters were unrealistic in the extreme, and I found absolutely no chemistry between them at all.

I actually cringed reading this. Rolling my eyes here.

I really enjoyed this book. I was shocked, I thought for sure this was going to be just another corny book to occupy my time until I figured out what I wanted to read. However, I couldn't put it down. It was cute, and funny. I loved both the Hero Max and heroine Emma.

Max is a rich boy with daddy issues. He has a trust-fund coming to him only if he's married or engaged by his 26th birthday. Problem? Max's wants out from under dad's thumb and has no desire to ever settle down,

This is one of those perfect books to read when you just need a pick-me-up, or you've finished reading a heavy-themed book and you need something that will brighten your mood. It's a standalone with an HEA. Max is a sexy millionaire playboy who refuses to ever settle down. Emma has worked hard to follow her dreams, specifically, to attend an Interior Design college in NYC. As soon as she settles in to her plane seat, she checks her email to find that the student loan she had obtained had fallen ...more

This was a really cute and easy reading book... the writing really flowed well and loved the secondary characters in the book ...
Max hamilton meets Emma Knight in a bar with her friends, she is celebrating her last night before she moves to NY to fulfill her dream to attend college... She was raised by a single mom - so after graduating HS, she waited a couple years and worked to help her mother pay the bills.. now she received loans and also saved some $ so she is getting ready to go.... Beyond disappointed

I felt no connection to the characters and no investment in their relationship at all until about 60 percent.I never really got there. It was almost impossible to believe this was the same author that wrote the amazing forever series. That is still one of my favorites of all time and I'm sure I've read several thousand books. This book felt totally phoned in...I kept expecting it to get better and it just didn't. I'm still not sure this wasn't a ghost writer. Lol...but truly t

Firstly wow, Sandi Lynn has done it again. His Proposed Deal is another amazing book by this author. I read it in one sitting, once I started I couldn't stop. I finished two days ago and I am still thinking about it, so much so I haven't read anything else yet.

I fell in love with Max and Emma's story. Both characters are strong willed and stubborn, a lot of times through the book those qualities had me laughing hard. This book had everything I wanted and more. Hot sex, emotion, laughter and an a

I liked this book, but I didn't love it like I hoped I would. I loved the story line and it has potential to be fantastic. It started out quite promising and really kept my attention, but then it just lost me. What really killed it for me was most of the conversations and actions in this book seemed forced and unrealistic. The author did to much telling and not enough showing. Everything took place at lightning fast pace and wasn't fleshed out. Their were a few secondary characters that didn't a ...more

Let's make a deal!

Another favorite theme of mine. Hero agrees to pay heroine's debts if she'll do something--usually minimal--for him.

In this book, Max needs a fiance to convince his father to free up his inheritance on his birthday--three months away. If Emma agrees, he will pay for her college tuition. What a great guy! He pays for this, he buys her a fancy ring, he buys her clothes and takes her to fancy restaurants.

Well, I did enjoy the book, but Max was just a little too good to be true fo

another beautiful book by Sandi Lynn I couldn't put it down. Max Hamilton is your typical sexy playful millionaire but underneath his charm he carries a heavy heart swearing he'll never love and won't be tied down. Emma is not from a wealthy family just being her and her mom but she has dreams to make a life for herself and moves to New York to peruse them. Fate throws these two together and deal is struck to help each other out but what happens when feelings get involved. go get your copy you w ...more

Another winning book by this wonderful author. Max meets Emma one night while clubbing , she rejects his advance . Fate brings them together on a flight to NY. Their fake engagement brings them close to each other and they are both scarred by their emotions. As the deal ends after three months. Max runs away from her and then her whole life is changed. Emma is a strong woman and picks up her crumbled life and suddenly Max reappears to confess something !

Wow I love this story, it has all the makings for continued storyline. Like maybe the father trying to over his business or something. Anyway love this story Max and Emma are awesome characters. I could not stop reading once I started. Definitely a page turner. It reminded me of the Forever series with the Conner Black family. Easy reading, great story line.
Thank you Sandi Lynn. Love this book.

Loved this story!!!

Beyond five stars!!! Sandi Lynn has done it again!!! Every story she writes is gold! This was such a beautiful love story. I loved how you wrote Emma's character. She was real and strong. You can't go wrong with someone as yummy as Max either. I smiled, cried and laughed as I read this. I liked the small glimpse/mention of characters from your other books.

“I was now Mrs. Emma Hamilton and married to the love of my life. I never would have thought that the hot and sexy man I stared at across the bar at a nightclub in Miami would become my husband and that we’d have a beautiful healthy daughter. Max’s proposed deal turned out to be the best deal of a lifetime and I couldn’t image my life any other way.” 0 likes
