For as long as Miss Candice could remember, writing has been her passion. In the beginning, she wrote poetry. Later on in life, when she was about thirteen years old, she was introduced to fanfiction.

The Coldest Winter Ever was the first urban fiction book she read. It wast then when she took Fanfiction to another level. She perfected her writing skills, and began to write Urban fanfiction. At first, writing was something she did in her spare time. Something that was therapeutic to her. Never in a million years, did she think she would become a published author, although it has always been a dream of hers.

Now, at the age of twenty-eight, she's penned over ten bestselling novels with many more to come.

In addition to writing, She's also CEO and founder of Miss Candice Presents.

BOYYYYYYYYY did i hate Duke in this one!!!! I thought it was bad before, but Duke in this book took the cake fr. I wanted him to get unalived for the way he was moving & acting, but that would've been the easy way out. He was DEAD ASS wrong for everything! He was mad at everybody for some shit HE did that came back to bite him in the ass. Mahogany and Crescent tho? Whew. Their back and forth (mostly on Mo's part) was extremely annoying, but imma give sista some grace bc I know she was terrified of leaving and being alone. Especially having 4 kids and not having proper support from that fuck ass mama of hers. Mahogany wanted Crescent so bad and I hated how they ended, but it was needed. I was happy when they got (back) together fr. He was such a good man and I love that Mahogany was able to find herself and get all that she deserved. Beautifully written, wild ride with lots of emotions, Miss Candiace you did that. 4.5 from me!!!!!

Happiness is Possible

This was such a beautiful, challenging, rollercoaster of an emotional journey. Watching Mahogany find herself was everything I wanted for her. That growth? That self-awareness? That strength? It was earned.

Now listen… some men can be selfish, self-absorbed, and completely clueless. But in the end, he did the work. He took accountability for the role he played in the downfall of their marriage, and that mattered. Growth is attractive. Ownership is necessary.

His mom though? Whew. I still don’t like her. It’s mothers like that who keep their sons believing wrong is right instead of teaching them that actions have consequences. Accountability starts at home.

And Mahogany’s mom? So disappointing. I don’t believe in being disrespectful toward our parents… but sometimes the truth needs to be spoken, even if it’s uncomfortable. She earned every word.

I’ve truly enjoyed all six books. This series will absolutely go down as one of my favorites. It gave depth, emotion, frustration, healing — all of it.

Signing off… on a sandy white beach 🤰🏾✨

I loved this book, I loved the character development, loved that she stuck to her guns and chose herself. Even liked his development even though he got on my nerves until about half way through. Loved the push and pull of Mahogany and Cresent. HOWEVER, I really want like two more chapters; a wedding scene, a birth scene, a family vacation with all her children, something 10 years in the future, I would have even taken a scene with just the two of them in future but showing how they're clearly happy, anything really. And yes, I am one of those readers who never want a good story to end, I could read about people's day to day once it's well written and full of romance. But, I will be content....... unless you want to give us another epilogue, I will take that too.

Pefection

The absolute growth and the complexities of each character, just wow. The reality of this story 5 stars.
Miss Candice you took us on a journey of happiness, heartbreak, redemption, and rebirths. This series was not only what can be call relatable, but also what it looks like for a sowing and reaping season. That is met by accountability and acceptance. Picture perfect doesn’t always mean happiness but choosing you when will always be prefect. Outstanding story telling.

Beautifully written!

Miss Candice really took her time with the finale. It was well written and I loved the ending. It was such an emotional roller coaster and for a minute I was unsure how it would end. I loved Mahogany’s character development and even Duke and Crescent. The only character I was mad at was Eve.

The finale

First of all. Thank you Miss. Candice for taking me on this journey with Mahogany. Getting to know and understanding her was a build up. There were moments in this book that had my face wet and other that had me giggling. Overall I felt this book in my soul. Job well done 👏🏾

Lovely!

The series is lovely. I'm glad that they are not together in the end. I'm glad Mahogany stuck to what she was going to do. Most books will have the name character do real dirt, and the wives of girlfriend always stay.

Miss Candice, you did your Thang. 🤏🏽🤏🏽

perfect ending

I was so happy that Mo didn’t take Duke back, years of lying, cheating, and disrespecting her and she finally had enough. Crescent was everything!! I’m so glad she finally let him love her correctly. This story was so well written, full of emotion and realism.

Hands down the best book in the series! I laughed, cried, beefed with fictional characters, and smiled. I loved seeing Mahogany and Duke evolve from the beginning of the series to now. I also love how hard Gabe rode for his mama. This book gave me everything I needed and more. 👏🏾👏🏾

Mixed feelings

I enjoyed this book until the epilogue lol. It annoyed me. Other than that it was a good end to the series. She really captured the audacity men have in Duke. He was absolutely ridiculous and I was wishing the worst for him at every turn.

Finale

Mahogany and Duke to us on a ride until she exited the vehicle! Crescent was a breath of fresh air. I really loved the siblings and their dynamic.

A full circle ending

This finale was so needed & I ate it up. Chapters were ended, others were opened, and through it all Mahogany found HERSELF. 🥺🥺 Beautiful
