Laurel MacTire and her sisters have a successful business of renovating and flipping old hotels. This time they might have bitten off more than the can chew. The hotel is claimed to be haunted, the town is filled with unmated shifter wolf males and CJ has an undeniable pull toward Laurel. So, why take on this hotel? The ladies know that their long lost aunt disappeared years ago while visiting their newest project. They are keeping their ears and eyes wide open, hoping to find out what happened. ...more

Get ready to enjoy Christmas in Silver Town. Terry Spear tones down the wolf and spotlights the romance in A Silver Wolf Christmas. For those of you who love a romantic and fun holiday read, shifter lover or not, this is one of those reads that it doesn’t matter if your characters howl at the moon, or run with the pack.

Laurel and her sisters are renovating the old town hotel. The pack thinks they will pledge to them and stay, but these women are always on the run, keeping to themselves, plus the

I LOVED it! I wait with baited breath for each new installment in Terry Spear’s Heat of the Wolf series. The best part about Ms. Spear’s books is that you can pick the latest up or start somewhere in-between and you don't feel like you have missed anything. The author does a great job of filling you in on the world she has created.

A Silver Wolf Christmas takes you into a world of shifters, mystery, and romance.

This was such a sweet romance. I loved Connor and Laurel. T

Laurel MacTire’s renovation of the abandoned hotel has attracted the attention of ghosthunters, so Laurel will have to turn to CJ Silver for help in hiding the existence of werewolves in this delightful paranormal romance.

CJ is only too eager to help in any way he can, especially if it means it he gets to spend more time with Laurel and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement that flows from the pages when CJ and Laurel get a holiday treat. CJ’s pursuit of Laurel is sweet f

I wasn't sure how this one would go due to all the secrets that the MacTire sisters were keeping and the way that they kept trying to keep their distance from all the pack members. I really liked that CJ didn't let that stop him from trying to court Laurel. That determination seemed to pay off for CJ because Laurel started to soften to CJ which led to them having a date and Laurel letting the pack in on what brought the sisters to Silver Town.

It was here things became interesting. Lots of intri

Welcome to Christmas wolf shifter style! Spear creates an exciting and fun story that kept me on my toes while taking me deep into the world of her unforgettable characters. The underlying current of mystery had me trying to puzzle it out while also enjoying my foray into this wolfy world. She uses descriptions to advantage, developing characters you can picture & feel as if you know, and settings that come to life, but leaving room for your imagination to run wild in this fantastic world. CJ and Laurel are the featured couple in this Christmas romance set in Silver Town. I've read several books in this series and it's an enjoyable read. The Wolfpack is happy the boarded up hotel is opening for guests and the three brothers are ecstatic the three she-wolf sisters are staying in town. Some previous questions are answer and as always the wolves are hot and sexy.

A fun, fast-paced, paranormal love story brimming with enchantment, secrets, and treachery in a snowy setting.

A SILVER WOLF CHRISTMAS by Terry Spear is an entertaining holiday-themed shifter-romance in her addictive Silver Town Wolf series which focuses on a pack of wolves residing in Silver Town, Colorado. This tale is tinged with a bit of mystery over the town's restored haunted hotel, apparitions, missing wolves and three new sexy she-wolves. It is the story of C.J. Silver and Laurel MacTire

I should have liked this book. Shifters. My favorite paranormal. Christmas. Always a favorite. And it's set in a fictions Colorado mountain town that sounds very much like a real town that I love. Said town in about an hours drive from my house and is a favorite place of mine. So I should have liked this book. I didn't.

I was reading an ARC. When you read advanced copies, it's normal to see editing errors that end up fixed for the final copy. I have no issue with that. But major plot holes are ra

I enjoyed this story. It is set at Christmas but I wouldn’t exactly say it is a holiday story. But it is still an enjoyable shifting story with a bit of a different kind of paranormal and a bit of suspense.

In the beginning I had a bit of a problem with this book. CJ seemed like a teenager with his first crush. He was written very young but as the book moved forward he seemed to change into a man and not a teen. I liked Laurel right off. She is the alpha

A Silver Wolf Christmas is book 17 in the Heart of the Wolf Universe written by Terry Spear. Amazingly this is the first book of hers I have ever read and now I'm sad that I have been missing this series. I feel like I have been missing out on it and really want to read the series in it's entirety, but this book is just fine to be read as a stand alone, I'm just one of those that hates reading the series out of order.

I enjoyed this holiday paranormal romance. It had a good plot with plenty of action and incorporating all the Christmas trimmings was a nice touch. The ending was particularly exciting with lots of unexpected twists. Wolf shifter Laurel and her sisters are opening a newly renovated hotel and deputy C.J. from the local wolf shifter pack is anxious to help so he can spend time with her.

First off, you do not need to read the previous books to enjoy this really good Christmas werewolf romance. There seem to be couples from previous books in the story, but you don't need to know their story to enjoy this one.

The three MacTire sisters were a little hard to keep separated at times. Being introduced to them in such quick succession made them all sort of roll into one for me and it took awhile before I was able to separate them into their own individuals. They have very similar perso

Another awesome book in Terry Spear's world of wolf shifters. Three sisters buy a hotel in Silver Town to renovate an old hotel and open it for business. The pack is eager to welcome the MacTire sisters. CJ Silver who, with his brothers, has recently returned to Silver Town is also eager to welcome them, especially Laurel. However, the sisters keep their distance as their real reason for being in Silver Town is to investigate the disappearance of their aunt, Clarinda. The hotel is supposedly hau ...more

I own every book in this series and love every one. Saying that, this is an excellent addition to the series and I love the fact that this is about the original wolf pack in the US. Don't get me wrong I love the Highlander tangent in the series, but after the last few books in the series being about the highlanders it's great to get back to the original pack! I was happy this story was about the three sisters who bought the hotel and to learn more about them and their reasons for moving to town. ...more

"A Silver Wolf Christmas" by Terry Spear. Book 17 in the Heart of the Wolf series. Book 5 in the Silver Town Wolf series (series within the Heart of the Wolf series).

I loved this addition to the Heart of the Wolf series! The title can be a bit deceiving because you think the story focuses on Christmas, but it doesn't. The story happens around the time of Christmas, obviously in the winter and sets up the feel of the book really well. The main characters are CJ (Connor James) and Laurel.

This shifter story could have taken place at any time of the year, but the fact that it’s at Christmastime makes the romance sweeter and the resolution of the mystery more delightful.

The MacTire sisters have been traveling around the country buying and renovating old boutique hotels. They have also been seeking the answer to the puzzle of what happened to their mother’s twin sister, who disappeared a number of years ago. Both of their quests converge in the wolf pack town of Silver. There are so

I just love diving into this author's books. You never know what she has in store next to mesmerize the reader with. This one also has a blend of mysterious intrigue because of needing to solve a long ago mysterious disappearance with a dash of paranormal activity of the ghostly kind. It is also in a time of year that some consider magical all on its own. Three sisters have bought and renovated a inn at Silver Town. This is a unique town all on its own with a tight knit group.
