This is a good book on the subject of Portugal's formation in the context of the of the "Reconquista". It even brought one or two new insights for me about important details which are rarely discussed in Portugal (for instance, the reason why count Henry of Portucale gained his county at the expense of his cousin Raymond, which is a bit romanticized by most people in my country). I just had a small issue with some places mainly on the first map and one or two small incoherences in dates or names ...more
