I'm being generous. I liked the premise of the story. The execution bordered on the ridiculous.

The primary mate pairing in this sexy novella is 'fur and fangs', so if you're into wolves and vamps with a touch of kink, then you're going to love this. This is only my second Lisa Oliver but both have been really enjoyable. I like how she portrays her characters, the chemistry pops, the stories are hot and her writing style is very easy on the eye. This particular series is set around a pack of shifters who own a BDSM club called Bound and Bonded and each story has centred on one of the pack ...more

I just had to give this one 4.5 stars and put it on my keeper shelf. This book pushed all of my mm shifter romance novel buttons - good shifter books are hard to come by. Ace redeemed himself and overcame his prejudicial upbringing, personal definition of D/s (yes he lost his ass virginity), and life/mate priorities. Who knew Ace had a sensual side too. Dean was honorable, classy, and sexy while being more powerful than the whole pack. Both MCs were so lonely and very respectful of each other. ...more

Good addition to the series.
Ace was a hard character to like at the start with his prejudices but once he accepted and mated Devin his attitude had a major reversal and he made up for the start
Kyle annoyed me in this one with his pettiness but got what was coming to him

I actually ended up liking this book way more than I expected to. I started off the book disliking Ace. His wolfist beliefs and his wanting to kill Teric were obstacles that I wasn’t sure the author could overcome. She did a really good job making me actually like Ace by the end of the story. Devin, I liked from the beginning and once Ace got over his issues, I thought they made a good couple. I found Kyle way more annoying in the long run. His ability to hold a grudge was

This was a great story - I wish it had been a little longer. Even without having read the previous books, I did not feel that I was missing anything.

Ace is an unfortunate product of his upbringing. Because of that, he had to grow up pretty fast and then, had to learn the hard way that perceptions can be wrong.

Devin is a vampire who uses submission to curb his blood thirst. He has been searching for a long time for his mate.

The story shows how changing the perception is not always

Four and a half stars!
I love when a book in a series can be read by itself. I kind of wanted to smack Ace at first when he was a jerk, but I was so glad it didn’t take him long to screw his head on right. Of course then I wanted to smack Kyle for holding a grudge like he was, but again his reasons were justified. I loved that Devin and Ace worked so well together when they finally got things worked out. My favorite scene is after Devin visits the pack the very first

I really like this series and this book. I also love this author. This is book four in the Bound and Bonded Series and it does not disappoint. Ace has been raised to believe that wolves don't mate outside their species. Devin is an ancient vampire with some very serious issues of his own. Devin is definitely got his hands full convincing Ace that they really are true mates. There's a lot of action as well as some BDSM interactions. Ace may cause you to want to smack him but keep reading. This ...more

Excellent shifter series and what made this one so special was the turn of events for Ace who was a wolf shifter and thought his species was above all and all others beneath him. His surprise and carma was he found his mate who was not a wolf but a hottie vampire. Very entertaining and interesting how Devin changed Ace' s attitude and had him rethinking his whole I am the better species attitude!!

This part was so silly I couldn't take the plot serious.
Devin the vampire is an interesting character who I like a lot (despite the depiction of vampires in this book not matching the rest of the instances they show up in Lisa Oliver's Shifterverse), but Ace I do not. He was established in the last book as a deeply hateful bigot who wishes to murder one of his former pack member's fated mate, because they are not a wolf. When his own mate is a vampire, it causes him to rethink things and his heart and mind changes. The problem is, this change is ...more

As you may guess from the title of this book has a vampire in it. I like in this that the mate everyone takes to be the smallest and therefore weakest is actually the one that is physically stronger (and older).

The wolf shifter in this book has a hard time accepting his mating due to the way he was raised. His Vamp doesn’t give up though and when the wolf decides to sacrifice himself for his perceived crimes the vamp sets in and defends his mate. The wolf in this gets a lot of lessons in mates

Honestly i would have still gave it four stars if it was only the 'not met expectations'. However, my disappointment with it could not just leave there:

1) THE PLOT - No, of course i liked the main idea. I see what the author tried to write. But it just didn't work at all ( for me ) Every time angst was bound to happen or should have

Fighting Fangs is the fourth book in the Bound and Bonded series of BDSM werewolf books. This one introduces a vampire to the mix, and gives us a good redemption story.

Ace was an asshole in the last book, and wanted to kill Teric, Kyles mate, because he was a cat shifter and not a wolf shifter. Ace was taught by his asshole father that wolf shifters are the top of the food chain and should not associate with any other shifters. They certainly shouldn’t BOND with other

I’ll be honest, At first I was a little put off. Ace is kind of a jerk, actually he’s not kind of, he IS. But I digress. Five minutes in and I was hooked as usual with a Lisa Oliver book. Ace is looking for a way to kill another member of his pack due to his prejudice upbringing, but when he finds his own mate is not a fated shifter wolf, he has to rethink his entire way of life. In this book, I absolutely loved all things Devin. I’ve always had a healthy obsession with Vampires and to have one ...more
I'm not as big of a fan of the Bound and Bonded series as some of the author's other shifter series (e.g. the Cloverleah Pack). I found this entry to be a little weaker than the previous "Bound and Bonded," but still certainly enjoyable enough.

I do very much enjoy the occasional wolf shifter/vampire cross-over, so even though I don't find the characters, dialog and general writing as compelling or strong as some of the author's other works, it still was a worthwhile diversion for fans of wolf

Lisa does it again! I was 5 pages into this, and I'm like WTH? I don't like this guy - surely this isn't the MC, because he is a complete dick... Should I even continue with this book?

Thank god, I did. Love, love , being thrown for a loop. Hard to explain because I don't want to give any spoilers, but I was rooting for both guys before very long. Explosive sex scenes as always from Lisa, but she managed something different here too. Love with a capital L - my heart still going pitter pat.

I like fang and fur combo's because there is always blood. I'm just wicked like that. Another fun story in this universe where gay shifters have a BDSM club and gay pack. Pearson is still the hottest of the hot - but each set of couples holds their own. I cannot help thinking it's time for a menage or some other combo to break up the pattern. No?

Loved this story in the series! Ace and Devin make a wonderful pair. Great story, characters we love, the stories flow well, and can also be stand alone. Lisa is an incredible author, all her books and series are wonderful. Can't wait for the next one!

You did it again Lisa!

And boy was it worth 5 stars. When it started, I thought he was gonna be the bad wolf. You know running amok dominating his submissives. But it turns out he was a good guy with a vampire mate. Thanks Lisa!

Ace a Wolf shifter and Devin a 500 year old Vampire. The storyline of Ace having fled the Washington pack after his comments about Teric a cat shifter being mated into the pack continues. He finds his own mate and realise's that the Fates don't believe in pure Wolf lines at all. Great Read.

I'm really loving this series. This one is my favorite so far. I love the idea of a wolf shifter and a vampire together.

It's so over-the-top and ridiculous. I enjoyed this one. I like Ace and Dean together. They're adorable.
