Sorry, to my three specialist doctors and one highly experienced alternative health practitioner that did not understand the root cause of my thyroid problem for over 3 years.

This book taught me much more than taking Cat's Claw to kill off the Epstein-Barr Virus. Here's my short list after one full year of being on the Medical Medium protocol and completely symptom free of Thyroiditis for over 9 months.

1. Anthony has taught me to rethink foods that affect my health, such as fruit.
2. Anthony has taught me not to believe many of the bloods test results that doctors use to diagnose a disease. (Blood test that does not determine whether you have active Epstein-Barr Virus in your thyroid.)
3. Anthony has taught me that Western medicine has many strong assets, such as fixing an aneurism; and medieval in other ways, such as removing a thyroid or tonsils to deal with easy-to-reverse inflammation.(less)

I remember reading other books by people who claimed they could scan people and sense illness that even doctors and technology missed. It's hard to argue with facts when they are proven accurate. I am one who believes the problem is that science denies the spiritual while the spiritual often denies science- now if the two could just meet in the middle... I can't remember if it was Einstein of some other equally brilliant man that said something to that effect but I do know I never scoff at anyth ...more

While I found this book had some very interesting information and perspectives (especially that the soul is in the mind--very A Course in Miracles), it has quite limited application, in my opinion. The standard eat more vegetables and fruits and less protein and stay away from GMO, MSG, artificial sweeteners, soy, corn, pork and gluten seems preaching to most people in the choir who read any health books. And most disappointing are the long lists of healing herbs and supplements for each conditi ...more

I have read the book and it changed my life. I did not know Anthony William or anything about him before I read the book. This man is the real deal. He is a gifted and talented medium who can scan your body and find out what is wrong with you and give you clear information about what you can do to heal yourself. His information comes directly from Spirit. Unfortunately there are over ten thousand people who want readings and only one of him. That is why he decided to write a book.

I started reading this book with a very open mind. I've met medical intuitives and been very impressed with some of their skills. This book, however, throws up all sorts of red flags for me. Firstly, most of the information he presents as new has actually been floating around in the alternative health community for some time. There is also a significant lack of specificity with regards to the treatment plans. For someone in direct communication with the most powerful angel in existence, there is ...more

Second Edit: I've now moved the edit to the top, so people don't get confused. I started off feeling more positive about the book, but after some time and thought I changed my mind. I'm no longer involved in any aspect of Mr. William's work, and though I believe he believes what he's saying/preaching, there are some big holes in the story which just don't sit well with me. If you're looking for clarity and/or a miracle, I doubt you'll find it here. Better to do some research on your own, or just ...more

Huge disappointment. I thought this book would be my answer to my mystery illness. I was terribly wrong.

First, his tone throughout the book is egotistical and judgmental, and my gut-feeling says he has jumped on the Christian bandwagon for sales/profit. *eye roll*

Secondly, much of what he says is contradictory. He speaks about keeping food out of plastics, due to its harmful nature (to which I agree and support) and then later advocates for drinking only bottl

So let's get something straight from the beginning: the reason why the diet in this book works for SOME and only SOME listed diseases is not because the author discovered something new, it's because it has been working for decades before he came up with this 'book'. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about it that was not known before (actually it's the information that is missing is the worrying part and his unfounded opinions). If this is your first health book about curing with nutrition ...more

A friend at my pool recommended Anthony William to me - she claims she has had tremendous success after reading his books. I suspect that she had a massive diet shift to raw vegan and while that will see some short term gains, I'm already vegan and daily eat a lot of the raw foods he recommends (including cilantro, avocados, etc).

I was intrigued by the number of illnesses he links to Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and have plans to get bloodwork done to see if there are traces of EBV antibodies in my

This book is impossible to take seriously. An acquaintance suggested I read it, so I gave it a try. The author claims that a spirit known as . . . Spirit . . . talks directly into his right ear and then tells him what ails people. According to the author, when he talks to people, he instantly interrupts them to tell them about ailments he couldn't have known about otherwise, to much shock and awe. According to reviews of people who have had actual phone consults with him, he asks a lot of questi ...more

Absolutely fascinating read. I particularly enjoyed the first part of the book, when the author explains how spirit works with him and how he gets the information about people. The rest of the book is interesting, although I did feel that every single issue related back to the EBV virus. The last part of the book advises how to have good health and that was beneficial too. A quick read, and good as a reference book.

This was recommended to me by a friend who has a chronic, undiagnosed medical condition. I have to admit it was hard for me to take this book completely seriously. The author gets all of his information from a spirit, who he calls Spirit, who speaks to him. Basically he tells us that most medical diagnoses and treatments of chronic conditions are wrong. He claims most can be cured via food and various natural supplements. He provides different supplements for different conditions but offers no g ...more

Do not drink the (celery flavored) kool aid! I was reading this with an open mind until I got to the chapter about menopause and bone loss. The author claims that instead of the loss of estrogen associated with menopause causing bone mass losses, it is actually estrogen itself that causes the reduced bone density. His explanation is that over time this steroidal estrogen eats away at our bones but we only notice it during menopause and then assume it’s the menopause causing it. THIS ( and embarr ...more

Despite the source of Mr. Medical Medium's information, everything he says in this book about wellness and disease makes a lot of sense. Having had two bouts of mono as a teenager and numerous "mystery illnesses" since then, I have been on a quest for information for the past 35 years regarding health and illness. Nothing this man has said has contradicted my own personal experience or anything that I've witnessed other people going through either. It also jibes with everything I learned from my ...more

Healing must happen at a variety of levels to see good results: the physical level, the mental/emotional level, and the spiritual level. Anthony works on all of these levels incorporating what scientists know to be the most powerful tool in healing: the power of belief. Not only did his nutritional recommendations fall along what I have found to be true with years of research and personal experience, he supplements this physical knowledge with spiritual knowledge. The meaning and purpose he give ...more

I wish I could give this book 10 stars. Anyone who has a chronic illness such as chronic fatigue, MS, Epstein Barr, Lyme Disease, heavy metals, etc. need to read this. The author is not afraid of providing controversial information that is helpful and natural. He has healed tens of thousands of people and will continue to provide healing through this book by offering information that we can use to heal.

Right let’s start by saying I am open towards alternative medicine, I belief in God, and I am pretty open minded. With that in mind, I started reading Medical Medium with a keen interest as it had come highly recommended to me.
Pretty soon the tone of the author started getting on my nerves. Secrets only he knows! Stuff medical science hasn’t discovered yet!
When it came to the The EBV part, and everything relating back to that ( no scientific proof for this) I’d had it but carried on as you never

I have followed Anthony Williams Facebook page called Medical Medium, for quite some time as I like to learn about the properties of good foods--fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs. He is called an "intuitive" healer like Edgar Case in the early 1900s. A lot of what he has to say makes sense and follows mindful eating habits and the Word of Wisdom. I used his celery cleanse, for instance, and felt fabulous. He feels that the new so-called mystery illnesses like fibromyalgia, Epstein-Barr, rheu ...more

Red flags went up for me when he said he started out his adventure as a medium with seeing his dead uncle who then transformed or in the telling of the story became “spirit” somehow.

I believe in the afterlife and that some individuals are blessed with seeing and feeling spirits, but I just kept thinking something is off here. But couldn’t really put my finger on it.

He did have useful information on herbs and supplements. I also agree with many of his points on diet. But I am still debating whet

Ok, I'm not off my rocker or anything, but a very good GR's friend has taught me through very gentle and easy to incorporate "fixes" that some ailments which are very irritating can be managed and/or eliminated through diet and supplements. So, I'm going to read this with an open mind. From what I can tell, it's not focused on that "Divine" voice in the blurb, which was probably added to pull in another type of reader. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit wary of that. The first whiff of th ...more

This book is the absolute embodiment of mental illness. Preys on the gullible, faith based community that would understand or recognize the difference between science and woo.

Too bad I have a conscience; I'd love to be able to exploit the idiots who buy into this stuff and take their money! Like shooting fish in a barrel, you can't miss with these people.

I saw this book while browsing in the library and was totally intrigued by the enticing words on the front cover, "Secrets behind chronic and mystery illnesses and how to finally heal." I have suffered unceasingly for the past several years with some extreme, distressing, debilitating medical symptoms. (Let's disregard the ability to psychically read people and diagnose their problems. I don't want to get into that discussion. Rather, I'm looking at his health suggestions.)

First, he talks about a mystery illness that is causing all sorts of medical problems for modern people. This is the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and its various strains, which he says causes MS

I must admit I had a hard time, initially, with the many angel references in the end of the book; however, I know God talks to us in a way we can understand. After all He made us! The gut is responsible for ensuring that you absorb the nutrients of the food you eat, properly expel waste and toxins, and maintain a strong immune system. Yet not only is it critical for these everyday functions, your gut also holds a life force of its own.
